I'm having problems with the GPS on stock 4.4.3 flashable zip flashed through twrp. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, do you have a fix

Your radio isn't correct for the ROM you're using, or your kernel isn't correct for the camera app you're using.

Its not hardware
The Problem is not HARDWARE RELATED. i had the exact same problem and suffered for almost a month. there is NO definitive answer on google. ive searched and searched. ive done EVERYTHING from reseating the memory card to flashing weird kernels to applying pressure on the camera. BUT in the end the solution was very easy.
Solution : REVERT YOUR FIRMWARE TO FRF91. TOTAL STOCK and UNROOTED. it installs an old radio version and im almost certain the problem was due to the Radio version . i used AMON RA's latest recovery to do so. wipe EVERYTHING 3 times. and flash the zip. also.. you need to be rooted at first to install the recovery from terminal. if you're new to this recovery/flashing roms.. google it. its fairly simple.
this worked for me miraculously and i do hope it works for you all .
happy to help.
About 3 days ago I flashed my rooted Nexus One to the latest CyanogenMod ROM. Since then, I have just not been able to get the camera app working.
When I click on the Camera app, the screen goes blank for a moment and then, I get the message: Activity Camera (in application Camera) is not responding.
ROM - CyanogenMod-7.1.0-N1
Baseband Version - 32.41.00.32U_5.08.00.04
Kernel Version - 2.6.37.6-cyanogenmod-01509-g8913be8
I have read the forums and done the following:
Deleted the Camera cache
Deleted all 3rd party apps/widgets that might interfere with the camera
Installed a newer Camera APK
Flashed the OxygenRom and some other ROMs to see if that could get the camera working
Flashed different Kernels
No joy yet. I stumbled onto this thread and that didn't fix it either. Do you guys have any other ideas?
Would be great if you guys can help, I am online and will reply back quickly after trying out your suggestions
Can no one help to fix my problem?

Is anyone else experiencing poor call quality since upgrading to 4.4.2? I can hear just fine, but the user on the other end says it is VERY quiet and I have to yell into the phone for it to sound normal. it only seems to have happened after I updated to ARHD 4.4.2. I have also tried InsertCoin's latest revision and got the same result, even after using the Aroma option to disable the noise suppressor. I'm hoping I dont have a dud.
Was it normal before you updated?
That's weird because I didn't have any such issues. Try a factory reset may be ?

No issue here
No issue at all on Skydragon 9.3
Must be your phone.
I'm on SinLessROM and all is up and running. Maybe try a GPe ROM see how it goes. Update your favorite custom recovery, full wipe and reflash. Maybe even try to update firmware. Just giving you options dude! :silly:
No such issue here, I had stock 4.4.2 now I'm MaximusHD ....both didn't have any problems

Thanks for all the replies. I tried every possible firmware/rom/reset combination - all with problems. I assume it was just coincidental I noticed it after the 4.4.2 update.
Returned it back to stock using the guides here on XDA and I have my replacement from AT&T
Anyone else still on 4.2.2 12b? My phone is rooted but I am using the stock ROM. All I needed root for was the hotspot provisioning fix and Titanium Backup Pro so I could freeze a bunch of stuff.
Other than that, my battery is amazing. The phone works perfectly with the exception of the camera. Its not bad, but I heard a fix was out in 4.4.2
I'm not sure I'll ever upgrade!! This version is totally workable.
billd
Yep, on 4.2.2
Froze the updater app after it tried and failed the OTA a few times.
Rooted and removed as much VZW bloatapps as I wanted.
I'm curious about the new stuff, but I will wait until the smart guys on here make the update smooth/painless.
Tjats my thought too!!

As am I. Just been too lazy to backup everything and update to 4.4.2. The Google Music bug is also making me hesitant

That bug sucks, I switched to AOSP because of it. I don't get why it's taking LG/Google so long to fix it.
I am facing frequent network 4G/3G issues on my Nexus 6. Data goes off for 30 minutes to 1 hr or more around 4-5 times a day.
Tried clearing google connectivity data , unistalling connectivity services updates, and so on but still the problem pops up frequently. any possible solution ?
The problem is not with the carrier since this doesn't happen on my Xpeia Z3.
I am running 7.0 stock rooted
Build NBD90Z
kernel : 3.10.40-gede039c
BB : MDM 9625_104670.31.05.42R

There have been several noted issues with the 05.42 Radio you are using. If you flash an older radio your issues will be resolved. There are fastboot flashable radios and also TWRP flashable radios. Choose whichever suits your needs. You can also flash several different radio's to find which one gives you the best connection. Hope this helps.

Thanks buddy. I have been searching for flashable radio . I ended up finding 5.42 only for Nougat. Will android 6.0 radio work on nougat ?

Yes, you can flash any radio for the Nexus 6 no matter what version of Android it came from. You can flash any 6.0 or 6.0.1 radio or even a Lollipop radio. I've been using the 02.101 radio at home near Dallas, Texas and since I own a trucking company I am on the road all the time I keep every TWRP flashable radio on my USB OTG drive in case I am in an area where my service starts to suck I can switch radios instantly. Here is the link to @Q9Nap's thread with all the available radios for download.
