Inspired by the theme kindly shared recently by @Ben Ling, here's a collection of toggles for Xperia KitKat...with Lego!
To have these toggles, you can download the icons attached to this post and put them into the appropriate drawable-?dpi folder in your decompiled SystemUI.apk.
Or, if you're not comfortable with decompiling apk files, just flash the attached 'Lego_Xperia_Toggles_Flashable.zip' in CWM (not TWRP). This zip will push a file called 'SystemUI-Overlay-285.apk' into your 'system/vendor/overlay' folder.
By using an overlay apk, it means that your SystemUI.apk isn't touched. So you won't lose any of the mods you may have done to it!
Oh, and this zip will make a flashable backup too! Just in case you don't like the changes.
(Or, if you use Tickle My Android, why not just let the tool do it for you? I've just updated it with these icons!)
Enjoy!
Just updated the OP with a flashable zip...

I was able to very easily modify the Honeycream theme since it was merely a swapping of images. I wanted to do a similar modification to the CyanbreadX theme. The CyanbreadX com_android_systemui.xml doesn't call for the substitution of the Noticification Power Widget images however. I copied that part of the .xml from the Honeycream one and pasted it in.
No success however, would get FC's after I had applied the theme. All images were named properly. In case you can't tell, I'm a newbie f-stick.
So I would like to know how to edit the CyanbreadX .xml to insert the images I would like. If someone has an already modded CyanbreadX .xml all the better, I can compare it to the original, and both of my failed attempts.
To make myself feel better, here was my success with the uber easy mod to the Honeycream theme (notif. power widget images and background-removed the Bee):

I'm trying to make the batt icon to have a 1% step icons. The default one is only in steps 0,15,28,43, etc.
I edited the stat_sys_battery.xml in SystemUI and placed my icons in the drawable-xhdpi. But when I flash the modified file, I lost my battery icons. I think I have to edit a file in frame-res.apk as well but I don't know which one.
Any inputs guys? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I found the same file in framework, so is that all that needs to change?
EDIT2:So it ended up with no battery icon at all.

There are issues with recompiling the framework-res.apk at the moment.
I am unsure if anyone has done it successfully. The only kids that seem to work don't include anything from that file, there is a thread about modding that file in this section....

hello guys
i just want to share this mod for stock rom l3 users/without experience in decompiling apps
it will change your statusbar background color and transparency with ease using a simple app from sir @b16h22
Note:
you must be on deodexed or custom rom before flashing this
Tried and tested on Jellybread rom by yayakuya and deodexed v10s/v10q
The systemui or statusbar has no annoying music widget
Procedure:
you can flash this on cwm recovery(recommended)
or extract the file and push the SystemUI.apk using File manager or explorer to system/app, set permission to rw-r-r then reboot. after that install the apk as normal app
Im not held reliable and responsible for bricked devices or broken hearts. Always do a Back up before doing anything

Hi, this is the jb/ics statusbar assets for MDPI, you can use an archiving program to do this (e.g WinRAR, 7-Zip, etc.), or simply just decompile. It will also possible to replace on your phone (a bit risky), but extracting the apk file with a file manager like FX by NextApp, then extract.
Where to extract???
To the drawrable-mdpi folder

No|Name (creator of a cm port, not on xda, please tell me if this is you, when I opened the rom that was what it said it was by No|Name ) for the SystemUI.apk.
You might have to rename some files, and some are unnessecary for your device, like status bar background.(9).png
