Try to flash different kernel (boot.img)
Or download kernel tuner and try to change governors...

Like Which Kernel? Which Kernel do you recommend?
have you unlcoked the bootloader?
Which boot.img did you flash? please provide the link
If you are getting bootloops, just flash a stock FTF

It's out there somewhere, but I don't remember where and I don't have time to find it. Use the search feature and do some reading and I'm sure you'll find it. Especially check the thread dedicated to 257 firmware

Flash "C6903 14.1.G.1.534 Generic DK 1276-1249_R5A" from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469191
then root with kingo , then make supersu update & system app (2 restarts required)
then go to Sony update and update OTA.
You will have latest version 14.1.G.2.257 ( it is stock Euro - no bloat) with root.

use this method.
I have a question too. I have a C6902, can I flash C6903 into my device?

No, it might brick your phone.
My device is C6902, and now I'm using .257 firmware. If I using flashtool to flash .534 but not wipe data, does it cause brick my phone?

No, it will not brick your phone if you choose not to wipe data. But make sure you're flashing a C6902 534 firmware.

1-you can extract the zip file and install the kernel.elf by fastboot mode
or
2-install the zip file by cwm from any other roms (like 4.1) then install ftf file by flashtool with excluded kernel

Anyone have this seriously annoying problem where you're from cyanogenmod 11 (pimped kernel) trying to flash the stock ftf (757) and it gives this error? How you fix this?

You get this error only when you try to flash 757 or any firmware?
It could be that you have bad firmware or old flashtool...
Try to flash 534 and see what's happening...

Wow I didn't know how my ftf became corrupted. I've just tried another ftf (same version) and it works. Funny because my ftf used to work but only when on stock.

You need to have a KK firmware that has the recovery, after that, put the entire LP ROM zip in your storage, follow the steps in that link and flash Lollipop. When you reboot, you'll have a rooted phone with 5.0.2 and a TWRP recovery.
And this belongs in the Q/A section, remember that.

That link is originally located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-zr/general/c5502-unlock-bootloader-rom-c5502stock5-t3115901
(shout out to the OP!).
All you have to do is download that zip, get the boot.img file from it and flash that using flashtool. And that's it - you have a TWRP recovery.
