I was flashing a new rom onto my HTC One today and my daughter got hold of it (Age 3) whilst my back was turned and has wiped the ROM completely!
I have TWRP v2.7.1.1 touch bootloader but I cant get a ROM installed - fastboot won't recognise that there is a device attached even though I get the 'connected sound' when I connect to my windows 8 laptop. I have searched for all the fastboot and adb solutions but have come to a dead end!
I think its dead! :crying:
Fastboot usb shows on the phone screen when connected though
the OS - on the fastboot screen shows blank too!
Can anyone help?

I have tried to flash a rom (Android Revolution HD 53.0) for my One. And after I finished flashing, it asked me if I would like to fix root. I pressed yes.
Then the phone go stuck between the boot screen and the recovery screen. It cannot enter the recovery mode (It got a flash of the clockworkmod, but it seems likes some error occurs). And now, I put my phone into Fastboot mode and plug it to my computer. The phone has turned "FASTBOOT USB" but when a use a fastboot command, it says "waiting for device" for a century...
And when my open up the "device manager" on my computer, it can recongnize "my HTC" but it's marked as an unrecongnized device.
I'm using Windows 8.1 on the Lenovo y510p, I think the Win 8.1 is the problem causing this...
I have tried to install the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver as mentioned here, but my USB then goes out of function.
Also, the fastboot won't work even though I manually install the HTC Driver from the device manager.
I have got HTC Sync, ADB and fastboot all installed on the computer. Still got no luck.
Anyway to solve this?

What is your bootloader version? What recovery are you using and what version?
in the meantime I suggest you to use Windows 7 or boot a live ubuntu 12.04 32 bits version cd or bootable flash drive and use fastboot from there.

Hi,
Today i bricked/hard bricked my X620. I had TWRP 3.0.x, but i decide to flash with 3.1.x. I made it through by commands in windows using twrp.img file, and finished with fastboot reboot command, and phone died. Last info was something with the flow. I read many threads, and i found, that it's not alowd to finish flashing with this command. Now, im not able to switch on my phone, enter fastboot or TWRP, and when i conect my phone to pc, red light apears and i can hear a sound i win7 that something has been connected to pc, and disconnect, and connected, disconnected ...................., and nothing i happening with the phone. So, i'm not able to connect my phone to pc to make new flash by flash tool.
Can somebody help me with this problem????

I am facing the same problem as well. Can anybody help pls??
No..I tried few solutions but the phone was still dead. So I bought a new phone.
Hello all, I have a strange problem on my xiaomi 8 phone.
Every thing works fine, the phone is BL unlocked, with global rom installed and can be OTA-updated.
Now I want to re-lock the Bl (because of google pay), so I booted to fastboot and the strange thing happens. When I connect to the usb port of my win10 pc, nothing happens, the device manager also show no new device or unknown device. And I als connected to my ubuntu server, dmesg show nothing, and lsusb also show nothing new.
So the issue is, in fastboot mode, my phone seems not be responsed the usb connection. This is boring, because I also accidently replaced the twrp with stock recovery, now I can do nothing on my phone without the fastboot connection.
Any one has an idea or simillar issue and have a solution for it? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you accidentally relocked the bootloader.
If so you will need to repair the phone in EDL mode by using QPST. There are plenty of how to guides available. You can buy a EDL cable from Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Baosity-Flas...ds=edl+cable&qid=1552775105&s=gateway&sr=8-11
How this happend:
- I removed my phone pin lock as was going to shift to different rom!
- I restarted to recovery
- it gets stuck on fastboot
I know it happens , phone does gets stuck in fastboot but the issue is the phone doesn't show on anywhere! fastboot devices, MiFlashtool, device manager (ports , android devices ) no where
so it is practically impossible for me to unbrick this device!
I've tried different PCs, (windows) different cable. i've installed every possible drivers i could find (different phone works but only this one (k20pro) doesn't, so I can confirm it's not a driver issue!
So is there any workaround on this? is my phones motherboard busted?
my only hope is EDL flash from a service center hoping that my motherboard isn't dead!
I started a personal conversation with you privately. Please check for help regarding this!
