I think no, this is Galaxy POP/MINI S5570, and it's different.
Try this one:

Go to sammobile.com.U can find costom romS for ur mini after some searching

My phone rooted, stock room, locked bl, gingerbread, it's bootloop, i rename 2 file "bootsamsung" & other i forget, from extension "qgm" to "qg", after i reboot it stuck in boot animation.

Make sure that you choose your model, GT-S6500 or GT-6500D on the left, and your region, hover over those regions to see which is which.
Also if you want to potentially overclock the phone, don't choose any of the 27.11.2012 firmwares.

cm 10 by the whisp is a great custom rom for mini2

I have a one galaxy mini and I try to install a Rom but now is not starting! What can I do? By the way I can't install anything with usb cable only from boot menu!!! Please help me!

I've been trying to achieve that with Heimdall…*but do not understand it. Got it installed, device is in download mode, but where to get firmware for Heimdall and not Odin? Can you provide little more information?

My friend has a Galaxy Mini , propablly 6500.Can You tell me wich tool do I need to use? Is it just odin 3.04 and rom.tar ? I know it's Development forum but there is no forum for Mini 2 so, I thought I'd better ask here

you can view my TUT and follow the Flashing part (if your just want to just upgrade the firmware)
or the rooting part (if you want to have superuser or root privilege to your phone)

I hope it's not too late because I see your post is from 16.2. Anyway, let's get on it!
Do you have properly rooted phone and unlocked bootloader? If you do - just try to reinstall your wanted rom or try to install another one.
Or use Odin (you can download it everywhere) and flash (for e. g. another stock) rom via Odin.

There aren't any Custom ROMs available for the GT-I8200 yet.
Please search through the forum and you may find the answer to most of your questions. Yours has been answered recently
