[SOLVED] Back to stock! - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey everyone,
I tried updating my phone to the latest 4.4.3 version. However, the update failed for a reason beyond my understanding.
I looked up at the bootloader and found that I have a "TAMPERED" and "UNLOCKED" flag, so I tried to remove the "TAMPERED" flag, and since I DON'T have S-OFF and I needed to use Rumrunner at first and then Firewater since my HBOOT is 1.56. both of them didn't work. Lastly I tried removing with with revone - a desperate situation - but it failed as well.
I really want to unroot and relock my bootloader and return everything to stock, just to install the 4.4.3 version and to keep on receiving OTA updates. However, I have two problems retrieving the correct RUU file: first, my CID is HTC_332, and second my "brand" is htc_la_spa. So I really don't know which RUU file to choose.
I know there are lots of guides hanging around there, but I would really appreciate if any of you guys can provide me a step-by-step on how to return to stock and which RUU file I should be using. I think it's worth mentioning that I use my HTC in Israel, but I haven't made any changes to the CID in anyway.
Thanks in advance for your help! ^_^

try this ,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53773615#post53773615 for me worked

TAMPERED and UNLOCKED are normal flags for an unlocked bootloader, you cant get rid of them unless you are S-OFF, if Firewater etc is giving you the whelp message, then you wont get S-OFF as of yet.
Next, you MUST have stock recovery on your phone for OTAs to work, no stock recovery, no update, I can see by your output you have TWRP recovery, that's a custom recovery, stocks can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545227 you need the stock recovery that matches this number 4.22.599.2
Also do you have stock rom on your phone ? or a custom one ?

I don't have a custom rom, and I can't find the stock recovery that matches my number.
I think I should do the following:
1) Install TWRP (I tried to install a different stock recovery but it didn't work)
3) 1) Try to work rumrunner on Ubuntu 32 bit (as explained here) AFTER flashing to ADHD 31
3) IF rumrunner works: change to SuperCID
4) reflash to stock rom (I can change it to ANY rom since I have SuperCID... right?)
5) reinstall stock recovery
6) update my phone via OTA
Will this work?

1. A different stock recovery wont work, it must be the exact one.
2. ignore everything else you listed above.
3, download the OTA when it finishes, select install later
4. plug your phone into your computer and locate the OTA on your internal storage, its just a zip file.
5, open the zip with WinRAR, find inside firware.zip and open that, pull out recovery.img
6. flash recovery.img
7 delete OTA from internal storage and redownload, now try install again.
If you do any of the above you listed and s-off doesn't work, then you will be stuck on custom rom's forever unless you can find your exact stock RUU

Yes, that's where you have to put the recovery.img file that you pulled from the OTA

And where is the OTA zip located at?

once you have downloaded it, it will either be on the root of your internal storage, or in the download folder

Well, I tried to do it the way you showed me. Unfortunately, halfway through the update I get is this exclamation mark, seen here:

Interesting enough, the system update deletes itself, so I have to re-download the system update all over again...
What should I do? :crying:

[Q][I9305T] 10.2 Upgrade Boot never stops/Unable to format /Data

When I tried updating from CyanogenMod Official Nightly 10.1 (13/8/13) to 10.2 (14/8/13) I did a full wipe trying to negate any of the problems some people were having upgrading from 10.1.
Unfortunately this didn't work. I ended up with the CyanogenMod 10.2 Boot Screen, but it didn't go any further. So I did another full wipe and tried just the normal upgrade from 10.1. Same thing happened there to though so I booted back into 10.1 and found out my baseband was unknown. Luckily I had a backup.
So I opened QPST and did the steps to Restore but it kept coming up with no phone. Realizing I forgot to flash Stock Rom I did so and it still didn't work so looking up on the forums I found people who flashed Perseus Kernel were able to get IMEI back.
This worked so I did another full wipe and flashed 10.2 again. Same thing as before, stuck on boot. So I flashed TWRP 2.6.0.0 with odin and tried another full wipe. All looked good so I tried manual wipe and it looked good to and then copied log to sdcard.
I then went to mount so I could copy my log to my computer to read, I'm not sure if I have the right drivers (SAMSUNG USB Driver for Mobile Phones) and it didn't appear in "My Computer". I checked device manager and it came up with SAMSUNG Android ADB Interface.
I couldn't find the drivers to let it open or either Recovery wasn't mounting it properly. So I booted to Download Mode and flashed Philsz Touch Recovery 5.08.5 i9305 because I knew it mounted my sdcard and installing another ROM would take to long for just a log.
I Mounted USB Storage, my log wasn't there so I opened Aroma File Manager and opened /data/media where its usually stored. Nope not there either and this was beginning to get even more frustrating.
So after a little brake I came back and used Odin to flash:
I9305TDVBME2_I9305TTELBME1_I9305TDVBME1_HOME.tar
No log so going back to my backups folder on my computer I searched the logs and found this:

It looks like the /data partition is encrypted. I once tried it, but found it to annoying and got rid of it so I'm unsure why it won't format. I'm leaning towards Re-Partitioning in Odin but I don't have a PIT file for the Australian i9305t Telstra version and I'm unsure if it even needs to be that specific.
Links and some help would be appreciated.
I kept trying to to fix this issue today and came up with another logcat.
View attachment logcat_recovery.zip
Seems the encryption is still there and won't let me format or flash anything properly and would explain my problems in 10.1. All was I was doing was dirty flashing when I updated.
If anyone knows of a way to remove encryption on i9305(t) it would help.
I'm going to have a look through Google search and see if there's a way to fix this issue.
So after some looking around I found a way to format /data using this:
(You need to be in the Recovery)
Code:
adb shell
umount -l /data
Then leave Mount/Storage and go back in it was unmounted and I was able to format it and it took a while so it obviously did something.
But my Baseband is still gone and using QPST to recover IMEI using Software Download keeps coming up with no phone. The only way I can get it back is to go back to Stock and install the Perseus Kernel again.
I'm going to try flashing 10.2 after a backup and see if it still boot loops.

Confirmed 10.2 gives me an endless boot again.
Had another go today and used Odin to flash TWRP 2.6.0.0 again. Went format /Data, typed in yes to the prompt and failed with something like this
Code:
unable to wipe data -- unknown file system
unable to format to remove encryption
Advice would be appreciated and if anyone knows how I could go about it better or has any suggestions, they would be appreciated.
OK, found the problem. Turns out my /data partition somehow became corrupted or it really is somehow stuck in encrypted. But then if it was still encrypted I should be able to format it.
Anyone know how to completely erase the phone and re partition it and then be able to re install stock?
same problem

Sorry about the late reply.
But yes, I haven't been able to fix it and I'm stuck with stock and Perseus Kernel to keep it working.

Hello!
I have just been able to fix my phone which was stuck in encryption and it would not accept the password. I also had problems accessing recovery.
I have posted the whole story here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2482143
In a nutshell:
1. Flashed stock ROM (got it in SamMobile)
2.Odin flashed Philz recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002953)
3. went to Mounts and Storage -> format /data and /data media
4. did wipe data/factory
5. re-flashed stock ROM
6. it still asked for password on boot but now from Stock recovery wipe data/factory and cache
7. Re-boot and encryption was gone with a perfectly working phone
The fundamental step here was number 3 with Philz recovery because after that it could finally mount /data and access internal memory.
good luck and let me know if you need details on any of the steps.
I'll give it a try, but I might have to wait. Waiting for prospective jobs to ring back so I need the phone working most of the day.

This is how I got into this mess
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572432
Also if u are not afraid of losing data the try kies emergency frimware restore method
1 go to frimware and intillition in tools
2 enter model no the S/N no it written on phones back
3 reboot into download mode and connect and follow instructions
This will work if u are at 4.1.2 but if u have upgraded and are stuck at knox bootloader then kies wont flash
Also it will delete all data and upgrade your phone to the latest version available

For starters I use titanium backup and backup the ROM for extra insurance.
Secondly I installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2501393 V2 of this because its the latest Samsung based Rom (4.3 but Not AOSP Cyangenmod), I've had few problems since and why not?
However I've only had it running 2 days but its already brought back my phone.
Through research this is apparently relayed to the eMMC dying.
So this may be a hard ware issue as well.
Try the ROM though, make sure you backup BEFORE you do and tell me if it helped.
PS
Also I've yet to check Bluetooth, so that might not work and it doesn't fix the problem were having. Its more like a bandaid, it works well though. I was able to get my mobile network connected and its way faster than 4.1.2 which I suffered a lot of lag due to the error were facing.

Notes:
-Used 240x240 res to build it tough it seems that in the latest version, it stretches to fit the screen, as a result, will look like 240x320
-Have full SELinux and is based on the latest version, so it can flash kitkat and I lollipop. Not sure about marshmallow

How to install
You can use different apps to flash .img files like zit-flasher, flashify, rashr,etc... or you can convert it into a flashable tar.md5 odin file
If you need a recovery.fstab file for flashing the recovery, use this
Installing with ZIT flasher
-Download and install ZIT flasher
-Download the recovery.fstab and TWRP's recovery.img and place them somewhere in your phone
-Open ZIT flasher, go to the settings tab, select recovery.fstab and then select the third option (select from phone)
-Then search for the downloaded recovery.fstab and select it
-Then go again to the main tab. In the recovery section select browse and select the downloaded recovery.img
-Finally select flash
-To check if it worked, turn off the device, then turn on while holding volume+ and home buttons.
Flashing as an image
1 - Download the file and place in in the root of the device's internal memory (sdcard).
2- Open the terminal emulator.
3 - Type "su".
4 - Type "dd if=/storage/sdcard0/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6". This depends on where the recovery.img is placed
5 - Wait a few seconds, then restart the device and enter recovery mode and enjoy your TWRP.
Update from twrp 2.8.5+
Just select flash-->images. Then select recovery and search the recovery.img and flash it. Then reboot recovery to see the updated recovery.
Changelog
17/12/2015
-Updated to 2.8.7
-Official changelog here
18-5-15
-Updated to 2.8.6
-Official changelog
6-3-15
-Use recovery source of the omni 5.0 branch
-Update to 2.8.5
-More or less 240x320 res and other twrp changes (I don't really know them, search for official changelogs)
3-1-15
-Made on omni source
-Updated to 2.8.1 version
5-5-14
-Added SELinux support
4-5-14
-Initial release
Note:
About the second step of installing and the last note, it is better that you provide a working recovery file for your device (it can be cwm or stock) so that I can see the recovery.fstab and then I can tell if it is the same as galaxy music/pocket plus, and if it is differente so that I can make a twrp that matches the mount points of your device
Being opensourced
Also I want my work to be open sourced.
-Device Tree for building the recovery: https://github.com/Alonso1398/android_device_samsung_ivoryss/tree/omni-5.1
-Kernel Source with SELinux support: https://github.com/Alonso1398/muZic_kernel_ivoryss/tree/cm-11.0

I prefer twrp because it has more options, however, resolution is set as 240x240 so the recovery doesn't use all the screen. You can test both recoveries to figure out which is better, however twrp is the only option for flashing kitkat for our device

I prefer twrp because it has more options, however, resolution is set as 240x240 so the recovery doesn't use all the screen. You can test both recoveries to figure out which is better, however twrp is the only option for flashing kitkat for our device

I can't create a 240x320 recovery because I must choose a resolution from here https://github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/tree/android-4.4/gui/devices and the nearest resolution is 240x240, and I think the time issue is normal because in recovery, you don't have internet access to check the correct time, however, in settings of the recovery, you can select a different time zone and it may show the correct time, it worked for me

Hey thats great:good: thanks a lot, will try to build for 240x320 too. According to your log, your twrp doesn't have SELinux support, did you use a prebuilt kernel or the kernel source for pocket neo? If you need help with that, just tell me

SELinux I think it's related to security however, it is a requirement for flashing kitkat with twrp, it doesn't have selinux support it will give errors when flashing.
For adding selinux support on the config file I changed "# CONFIG_EXT4_FS_SECURITY is no set" to "CONFIG_EXT4_FS_SECURITY=y" under "File systems". Made the same thing with "CONFIG_AUDIT" and added "CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX=y" under "security options". I don't know if all that was neccesary but at least it gave me selinux suport.
Also I saw before that cm for galaxy chat, probably will help me to see some vendor files that are needed, however it is still with a lot of functions not working. I will give a first try to kitkat but probably will face the same errors too or even more lol, however I will try to fix them
And for some reason, the twrp I made with 240x320 just gives me a black screen and then reboots on normal mode

I also did myself the same question. Probably it can be useful but I didn't found a way to use it. Also, for some reason, the source of the galaxy music didn't had the build.sh file. On my personal opinion, I think it isn't important but who knows....
What will happen if it won't work on my galaxy fame?(not lite) it have the BCM21654G chipset. It would be a softbrick right? so I can still put back the cwm recovery if this happens.

Mmm I'm not really sure what will happen if you flash it. Flashing twrp will replace cwm, so if it gets bricked, the only way is flashing stock rom with odin. You can test it but I'm not responsable of what could happen, I'm sorry. If it boots on twrp, probably the screen will look smaller and the touch won't work. There is also the chance that it may need a different twrp.fstab (all that can be fixed)

[Guide] Upgrade Nougat rooted & encrypted to Oreo easy way

Well, this is maybe 10th way of doing this update but I just did it and decided to share steps.
I upgraded from 4.5.15 rooted and encrypted to 5.0.1 without data loss though I have to format /Data partition. So, this is what I did:
1. Unroot and remove pin from phone.
2. Boot into bootloader and flash using fastboot latest codeworx TWRP (I used universal one)
3. Boot into TWRP and made nandroid backup
4. Reboot back into system - still 4.5.15. Save TWRP backup to PC. Also save all sdcard folders you care about, such as DCIM, Pictures, Music, Download etc. to PC.
5. Load Oxygen5.0.1 zip file into Download folder on phone
6. Boot into TWRP
7. Install Oxygen5.0.1 zip though TWRP. Wipe Caches and FORMAT Data.
8. Reboot into system. Let Oreo run new phone wizard and settle.
9. Copy TWRP backup back to the phone. Copy your sdcard folders back. Also copy Magisk15.3.zip if you need a root.
10: Get developer mode in Oreo and enable ADB.
11. Reboot into bootloader and flash codeworx TWRP again and reboot into TWRP
12. Select and restore DATA only in TWRP (only DATA partition without media).
13. Flash Magisk 15.3
14. Wipe this time Caches only and reboot into Oreo
Done, re-assign your pin code etc.
Sounds a bit complicated but in fact it's all about how to deal with consequences of formatting Data partition.
So, in nutshell - save your DATA partition, install Oreo, format DATA then after Oreo settles, restore your Data and your root.
When I went to install the Oxygen5.0.1 zip a message error showed that said "This Device is unlocked; bootstate: ""; sdk version: 25".

This will happen if you are trying to update not from Nougat (sdk=25) OR your ro.boot.verifiedbootstate is not "green" - unlocked.
Or (more likely) you are trying to flash from different version of recovery...
I am using this one:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/cheeseburgerdumplings/files/15.1/cheeseburger/recovery/twrp-3.2.1-0-universal-codeworkx-cheeseburger.img/download
PS: yes, I just looked into updater-script and looks like you got this error because you are unlocked and your recovery is built for Nougat (sdk25), you should use recovery build for Oreo (sdk26). So, definitely you are using wrong recovery.

really really great.
Worked at last.
Thanks
I'm going to give it a shot soon. I really appreciate you making a simple guide for this. I'm still convinced nougat is more stable than oreo.
Will this is also fix the known WiFi bug that kills it on a previously failed OTA Oreo update?

I have no problem nether with my WiFi or fingerprint scanner.
I assume the problem for failed Oreo update has something to do with file level encryption went wrong and your wpa_supllicant.conf got corrupted etc...
In this guide I mention to remove your pin from your phone, let it be default encryption key, first thing before taking any further actions.
So, when Oreo will settle (new install wizard where you connect to WiFi, your google account) then after that TWRP restores your previous wpa_supllicant.conf file with all your previous WiFi settings and everything should be working just fine.
And after that you can add pin code to the phone to encrypt that default encryption key further...

Did you remove pin code? (Before even flashing codeworx TWRP first time)
PS: what issues exactly do you have?

Check that archive file for corruption with WinRar on PC.
Can you open some files from that data.ext4.win000 archive?
Was you phone encrypted on Nougat?
Did you remove pin before taking nandroid?
Did you use codeworx universal TWRP to take nandroid?
What steps did you do exactly?
Update work perfect !
I have only one problem, I can not access the internal storage on the pc. I can access from the pc Work in bootloader or recovery, but not if I am on android.

When you connect Android phone to PC, on phone you have to choose file transfer USB mode. By default it's charging only. So, you have to switch it to "File transfer" and then you can access your phone internal storage from PC.

I have since managed to work round that problem by restoring apps with data using Titanium Backup instead of TWRP. Still not entirely sure what went wrong but apparently quite a common error restoring with TWRP. Took a bit of time to redo some settings and a couple of apps required reinstalling, but didn't lose anything of note.

Do you get bootloop if you flash ROM, delete cache, format data, and let it boot normally?

A collection of working custom ROMs for xt1799-2 Green Pomelo

After downloading and testing, here's a list of working ROMs for Green Pomelo:
(9.0 based): Havoc OS ,Superior OS ,Dot OS ,Aosip, Potato ,Hydrus ,Viper OS , Lineage 16
(8.0 based): FireHound, Lineage 15, Arrow OS, Aicp
(PS: fingerprint fix file for Pie is needed before installing Oreo based Roms,or it will stick at boot animation ,and fingerprint fix for Oreo doesn't work for Xt1799,if you flash the file,it will also stick at boot animation)
(7.0 based): None
The fingerprint sensor won't work if a custom ROM is flashed, the solution is here:https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g5s/how-to/guide-fix-fingerprint-sensor-oreo-8-1-t3900508
Currently I'm using Havoc OS, after fixing the fingerprint, everything works fine except for the stock camera, you can just replace it with a third party one. But the front camera still malfunctions.

Hi, can you tell me what happens when you install LineageOS? I'd appreciate some logs as well.
On lineage 14, it sticks at the fast boot and displays"Error:failed to load keenel".
On lineage 15,it sticks at the boot up animation
Lineage 16 works fine after another try, it's just I downloaded the corrupted file.
By the way, I have flashed the downgrade files via twrp in advance.

Thanks, the issue with LineageOS 14.1 is known. Could you try getting logs for LineageOS 15.1?
Also, do fingerprint work fine on the respective ROMs you have mentioned? With Oreo firmware

The lineage 15 stucks at boot animation,I don't know how to get a link in that case.
The finger print fix works on pie-based Roms I tested, but I've not tried it on Oreo.
Can anyone make a working front camera? I don’t update without a working front camera ...

I meant Oreo firmware as in modem from stock Oreo (if you used it from a different model). The problem with LineageOS is probably SELinux, in that case logs are needed to fix them (as I don't have the XT1799-2 model)

In the last try lineage 15 was successfully flashed and booted, when I was trying this earlier, it stuck at boot animation for hours. But after flashing the fingerprint fix file,it again sticks at the boot animation, the log :Starting TWRP 3.3.1-3-0bd7c590 on Tue Jan 6 06:58:39 1970

lineageos after update bootloop

After I downloaded today's update via the system and wanted to install it, I only get one bootloop at a time.
It looks like this:
- Power ON
- Warning notice the phone is unlocked
- OnePlus Logo (powered by Android)
- lineageos bootlogo
- Password input (to unlock the file encryption?)
- Android is started message
- lineageos bootlogo
after 2-3 minutes the OP3T restarts and boots into TWRP (3.3.1-0)
I also have to enter a password there (Decrypt Data).
Also the manual update via TWRP and /data/lineageos_updatest (lineage-16.0-20191105-nightly-oneplus3signed.zip) didn't help.
Under /data/data/org.lineageos.updater/ Missed the folder /app_updates
I also can't start TWRP normally I can only start TWRP via Fastboot Mode and PC
I use password, fingerprint and facial recognition

After downloading the zip in the Updater app, did you try to use the automatic flash or did you manually flash the zip?
If you've tried the automatic flashing and troed to boot to system you've messed up your setup (known issue in twrp-3.3-1.0), and you need to clean flash. You can try to format systrm and reflash rom, gapps and magisk, but I'm afraid you need to start from scratch.
For booting twrp: flash twrp from fastboot and reboot immediatly to recovery (not to system!!!).
That's how I do the update:
- Settings
- system
- Extended
- updater
click on the circle arrow symbol
- download
- Install
Phone restarts
TWRP Starts
Update will be installed
Telephone starts NEW/the system
The update before that I did exactly the same and that worked very well only this update did not work. I'll do a backup before every update because starting from scratch and doing it again is really annoying.
I installed TWRP according to these instructions:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/oneplus3/install
Also I downloaded TWRP to my phone then I downloaded TWRP to the installer and installed the .img on Recovery.
So according to these instructions:
TWRP Install (Requires TWRP 2.8.4 or higher already installed):
Download the latest TWRP image file (.img) from the download link and boot TWRP. Go to install and find and select the Images... button. Browse to the image that you downloaded and select it. Choose recovery and swipe to flash.
I recommend reading and following:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...ment/rom-lineageos-16-0-oneplus-3-3t-t3866517

twrp-3.3.1-0 has an issue with automatic flashing on encrypted devices. If you don't need a locked bootloader you can use the unofficial 3.2.3-10 from the thread linled above. If you need to use 3.3.1-0 flash the downloaded zip manually and wipe caches.
Sometimes magisk and/or magisk modules can cause bootloops - if you use magisk and/or magisk modules, uninstall all modules before uninstalling magisk before updating (according to the previous paragraph).
Before proceeding, I'd fix the "can not boot to recovery"-issue first. flash twrp via fastboot, honor the output (cut'n'paste, screenshot) and directly boot to recovery.
Sorry for asking, but what's magisk?
I will remain on the current TWRP and renounce the encryption. There is no disadvantage?
How should I proceed with Flash?
- Start in Fastbbot
- fastboot devices
- fastboot flash recovery <recovery_filename>.img
and then what?
Restart the device and after the warning, press volume keys and start Recovery?
I think it's done. It was my mistake / my impatience. After the warning screen was displayed and you switch to recovery mode, the phone turns off, vibrates and starts TWRP. Thanks anyway.

Why should you? See my previous posting, just update manually. If your bootloader is unlocked, encryption is the only way to ensure the privacy of data, if the phone is stolen/lost/etc. I strongly discourage the unencrypted use of our device!

Restore your los-16.0 backup and update manually in twrp-3.3.1-0.
All of the above is allready answered more then once in the threads I've linked for you in my last posting.

I'm aware of that, but so far I don't have anything on my device that could be used, all accounts have a 2 factor authentication and all apps are locked with pin and fingerprint. My phone is also always in my pocket and in all the years I have not lost anything yet thank you for the hint.
Can I download the updates on my PC?
If so, where?

I have already done everything new, thanks for the help, I will now make a backup before each update.
Which TWRP version is recommended?
I'm sorry for my not so good English, by the way.

If you've read the the first hit in the list, and don't know if you need magisk, the answer is no.
I've mentioned magisk and magisk modules because they are known to generate bootloops on rom updates sometimes. If you don't have it installed, you don't need to uninstall. The link I've given was a hint to do the minimal search yourself, when asking "What is magisk?".

To avoid any further misunderstandings:
My name is nvertigo67, not "ok google" or "alexa". Google yourself:
https://www.google.com/search?q=lineagesos+download
You can also just read the links, I've given in my first answer!
BTW: you can use Updater app for download and flash manually. Only the automatic flashing on encrypted data is broken with twrp-3.3.1-0. The download of the rom in Updater app is not effected.

This happened to me too. So you're saying there's no way around this but to start from scratch?
In the future, to avoid this, I presume we should download the zip and flash this manually from TWRP rather than use the OTA?
Is this a known issue with any plans for fixes? I've seen a few GH issues for it but none seem to concern the OP3T.

I did exactly the same thing and exactly the same result after the latest update.
I found this thread interesting. I had been automatic flashing my LOS 16 on my backup phone, did it about 10 times, never had an issue. I was encrypted after coming from stock OOS. Is this issue supposed to happen every time? Seems odd I never saw it as many times as I did the automatic update.

Some users suffers from this since last twrp update (3.3.1-0) every time they try(*), some users have used 3.3.1-0 without issues fpr months, and out of nowhere the issue hits them.
(*) I've seen reports of two users trying a second a a third time, most users manually flash after hitting this once.
If interested I recommend reading and following these threads, instead of asking here - it's all there:

THREAD CLOSED on request of OP!
I clearly recognise how intensive and qualified the support was that has been provided in this thread - and I'm not only convinced, I know it will be the same in other threads. On behalf of XDA I thank each and everybody for these efforts.
However, I think we shouldn't forget that XDA's audience is not only unique with it's more than 10 million members but - and not only due to the huge number of members - very heterogeneous with all different levels of experience of and times on Android. We not only appreciate the (Senior) Recognised Developers in the development fora with their products and codes but also the unexperienced users with their questions in the Q&A sections.
I know all more experienced members support them to the best extend but occasionally place yourself in the situation that you just got your first Android device being bored from years of using Apple...
Maybe this part of the rules describes it all:
...If you see posts from others where you can help out, please do so. This place exists because people are helping each other, and even if you are relatively new to the matter, there's probably quite a few people with less experience than you, who could benefit from what you've learned.
