Most likely the computer/laptop.
If you have more ports use another one On PC prefferd one on the backside of the computer (Due to direct contact with motherboard) and laptop doesnt matter (all of these ports are directly connected with the motherboard of the laptop)

Does it show any sign of life at all? Try charging to a few minutes. I think it's a hard brick, but try anyway. If it doesn't work, send it to sony (serVice center).

i`ve tried to charge it with vivaz, (same battery),,, but no sign of living yet, is it the only way to fix this problem?

There are some shops that can fix it. You can also do it using jtag, but i haven't seen any tutorials about it. You can try google for that.

thanx,,, looks like i gotta` kiss the friendship between me and my friend goodbye...
but i still dont understand why "S1 tool identify" software said its unlockable, because i`ve seen one site and it claimed if you see that sentence "SEMC SIMLOCK certificate", in s1tool identify`s log, you can unlock the bootloader,

Well, you didn't want that to happen. Hopefully, you and you r friend can work things out. Yes s1tool will tell you that you can unlock it. Unfortunately, phones with manufacturing date above 11w28 is always a risk as far as unlocking the bootloader.
hello everybody,
i'm unable to get my phone in flashmode..i come from slimkat (unlocked bootloader) did a full wipe, flashed the ihackers kernel through fastboot and then through recovery, flashed the minimal version of ihackers 4.1, switched off my device and then plugged the usb cable while holding vol-. my computer sees an SEMC Flash Device and Flashtool says: Device connected with USB debugging off For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode i've installed the latest version of flashtool and drivers to no avail.. in short, i can't get to flashmode. the phone works fine (except for the camera that won't focus to save it's life) anybody knows how i can fix this?
thanks in advance!
If you are trying to flash a FTF then choose the FTF first and do not connect the phone until you prompted to by flashtool
Then, please copy and paste then output from flashtool here.

crossed my mind too..
btw, i'm running Doomlord's v16 kernel
ALso, update to the latest version of flahtool
It needs to be on, because when you attach the phone it turns on but goes into flashmode...just because there is nothing on the screen does not mean its turned off.
Also, allow unkown sources in security and please attach the phone turned on to flashtool and post the output.

I confirm that i never turned on the debug mode on and i have the same alert, but that flash correctly. I think the problem is due to the flashtool version, he doesn't use the latest.

You need v1.99, here is the link:
http://download.chainfire.eu/420/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99.zip
Sent from my C6603 using XDA Free mobile app
easy root
go to www.towelroot.com on phone. Hit the lamda sign and download the root.apk. Open the apk and hit run. It rooted my phone in seconds. 4.4.2 locked bootloader
Dear all,
I just wanted to confirm, that towelroot works perfectly, no trouble, no drawbacks.
And installation of SuperSU and busybox worked smoothly.
Done 2 days ago, with Experia Z (C6603) and 4.4.2.
And just to let you know, I am a "newbee" in this exercise(s).
Started to root and work with China phones (coolpad 7205 A and C), now starting to work with my Xperia Z..
I have the latest Flashtool installed, and both my V's are updated to 9.2.A.2.5, with the boot loaders unlocked on both.
I rooted both of them before the update (can't recall how I did it or where I got the information.) Now one of them is rooted and running Avast Antitheft; no problems there. The other, however, just won't root. Using the latest flashtool, which installs TowelRoot on the phone, the phone reboots right after I press the "make it ra1n" button, indicating failure to root.
Here's the log I keep getting in Flashtool:

And it just goes on and on like this. What am I missing or doing wrong?
SOLVED!
SOLVED! Here's how it turned out:
I found this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2798411
... which didn't work - at the first few attempts:
a. Installing Towelroot from internal storage using the built-in file manager seemed to be in conflict with... well, Towelroot being already installed.
b. Chainfire's superSU kept giving me an error message.
So I figured I should uninstall both using the phone's app manager and try the instructions in the link above from scratch, and voila! Here's the log:

LT25i noob
Please help me out...I have been searching this forum for 3 days now and cannot find a straight forward answer, every thread says something different and I am confused as hell now!
I have the LT25i on 9.2.A.2.5, bootloader locked, but unlockable, and not rooted.
How do I unlock bootloader, and root, so that I can flash a custom rom?
Solved
I have actually just managed to get this all sorted...unlocked bootloader using flashtool and rooted by following steps here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2798411&highlight=unlocked
If only I could have found that thread 3 days ago!

Wow excellent advice...do you think I just stumbled across all the threads I read accidentally?
It is extremely difficult for someone rooting a different phone for the first time to know exactly what to type in the search bar to get the correct info.
There is not an up to date all-in-one thread for XV noobs
