installing custom Rom

hey guys
i have xperia z c6602 its jb 4.1.2 and build number is 10.1.1.A.253
i have rooted it and unlocked bootloader but now i want to intall custom rom 4.2.2
iam not familiar with sony devices cauz i had htc phones .
now with these info i can easily install custom rom from recovery? no need any thing else ?

read the stickies and read the thread of the rom you want to install
if you are installing a stock based rom do it via flashtool, if its a custom aosp rom such as cm10 then read the instructions as you have to flash the boot.img first then follow the instructions

I was new to flashing custom ROMs but as long as you read and then re-read the instructions for the ROM you should be fine.

You will have to root your device and find a stock based rom to install. There is extensive help in the all in one thread. Review the instructions carefully as it is slightly tricky. Personally I am waiting for the stock-sony 4.3 release which is hopefully available soon.

Hello everyone! I need help to get Rooted, Deodexed and Zipaligned Sony stock 10.4.1.B.0.101 4.3 Flashable Rom V3 (19/02)! That rom. Its from SuperHanss and he uploaded it on goo.im. Unfortunately goo.im is down now. Does anyone have a copy that I can download on an alternative site like mega.co.nz or mediafire? I need this rom so I can flash it with DooMLoRD's DooMKernel (v22) along with dedodexed 4.3 Jellybean. For now i have JB 4.2.2 Deodexed Xperia Z rom with DooMKernel (v19). I'll be happy if anyone can help me with this. Thank you All.:laugh:

Flashing Kernel

Hi, can i flash this "[chroot] [kernel] [ honami ] Kali NetHunter MM" kernel on my phone?
Xperia Z1 c6902 unlocked bootloader. My rom is Resurrection Remix 5.6.8.
P.S: I can't go recovery menu. when i reboot in to recovery, sony logo after black screen and orange led.

So i was installing PureX on my Xperia Z C6602 with aroma installer

Same for ANY Stock based rom (CustomiZed, Official Firmware etc.)

So i know there is green light after Sony logo, thats recovery

Also when I flash any other cyanogen, Aosp etc. rom then it works perfectly fine.

use xperifirm bro to download the firmware..use flashtool by androxyde to flash the file..
