[Q] Enable all LED when using AOSP-based roms - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been searching around to find any app that can enable all three led in xperia SP when using aosp-based custom roms.
There have beend suggestion to use app like light flow but on my phone the ilumination part is greyed out. Hence only the middle LED lights up.
Currently running [KK 4.4.4] Paranoid-neXus on my XSP

Did you tried the illumination bar notification app? It's an special app for xperia phones with light bar.
In the general settings you can choose your phone.
Good luck

Light Flow on Xperia TX JB

Has anyone been able to use Light Flow or any other LED control app on the Xperia TX since it got the JB update? I had been using Light Flow fine on ICS previously but now can't get it to activate the notification light which I have grown accustomed to
Which app did you use?
Sent from my LT29i using xda app-developers app
Have tried Light Flow and Light Manager but haven't been able to get it to work. Phone is rooted too.
I am currently using Light Flow on my Xperia T. Have you granted it permission through accessibility settings?
PS. It is a major battery hogger!
Yes I have done that, seems odd. Funny that, I have noticed much better battery life since going to JB

Well i dont know what else to say other than uninstall it, reboot and install the latest version. Haha well it's always one of the top apps in battery stats.
Working in my Xperia TX
Sorry to know that but it's working perfectly on my Xperia TX in spite of being upgraded to Jelly Bean (Android 4.3).
Make sure the access to notification is turned on in Settings>Security>Notification Access. See if 'Light Flow Light' is checked.
And also make sure all the settings of the Light Flow is set correctly.
Try formatting your phone and installing back the app. If still not working, it may be because you rooted the device.
If you use Light Flow Lite just for the LED notifications of some apps, try the app from Play Store which works better for this purpose in Xperia phones ie. 'Illumination Bar Notification' and after installing it, set the device model to 'Other' in the General Settings of the new app.
I use Light Flow Light just for the Network Signal LED and very few more things as it has no LED control over apps like WhatsApp, Skype etc. in the free version.

[Q] Which app to change colour of notification LED?

Which app works on the Xperia ZR to change the notification LED colour? I tried Light Flow but when the screen is locked, the LED only flashes white using the standard Sony process which is uselss as you can hardly see it. When you unlock the screen, Light Flow works and will change the LED colour and frequency but there's no point then.
Don't need anything fancy or full of options, just a simple app to change the colour.
I use Illumination Bar. Works great.
Thanks, I'll try that tonight, didn't realise it works on the ZR as it says it's for S/P/U Xperia's only.
What about dropping a line to the dev of flowlight? He could fix it perhaps...

LED / Notification Bar Apps

Hello i flashed eXistenZ today on my phone and i have everything running smooth except the ledsthe phones led flash too much and sometimes they are on all the time.
I use light flow to control the leds but it wont change the color or the flashing frequency.
Is there a way to see which system app controls the led bar and disable it ???
Thank you very much.
Illumination Bar (pro) is the best application in my opninion. It has a lot of settings and is compatible with our device.
I believe Lightflow is only for the devices with 1 led.
Having 3 different colors
@mrjraider does Illumination Bar Pro allows you to modifie the colors of the three leds? Like when you boot with CWM who light Green Blue and Red led except of having one single color.

nope
No it only uses the three leds with the same colour on. Only root and special apps can do this for example discolight somewere in the themes and apps section.

Lightflow now suports 3 leds, just make sure you´ve checked illumination bar in settings. For me works great
It was not working for me so I got rid of it Now I have no application installed and just using the sony settings
a lot have changed since then i flashed 4.4.2 Aopk and not im running a smooth and stable system... but the leds seem to be buggy with discolight because everytime i check "Music Pulse" the leds stay on in full brightness i have to figure this one out.As for lightflow i hadnt much time to mess with it yet ill reply when i do

[Q] Do LED notification lights work on custom roms (those not based on stock)

A noob question but does the notification strip work on custom roms e.g. mahdi rom or free xperia project, as it does on stock based roms? Eg would i get disco lights while playing music or the led lighting up during photo browsing or getting a phone call?
Thanks

Nope, it won't work except for notifications and charging.

[Q] any kitkat rom that support LED Music Xperia SP?

I have been using custom rims but finally back to Sony rom, simply because I love the LED music.
Is there any kitkat rom that support LED Music feature?
Note:
- what I meant by music LED is the blinking LED following music beat . Not the notification LED. Notification led already working fine on kitkat rom.
Thanks

Use U-Disco or U-Disco Pro from the play store, works on CM, Crystal PA, Vanir.
Unfortunately the light beat is not the same with Sony framework. Although it do have more features (light beat from mic, etc)
