Maybe a silly question. But how can I get CM on my device if I have stock rom right now and CWM 6.0.5.3 is required for flashing CM11????
You can't backup/restore a stock rom with the new recovery. So make a backup, then install the new recovery and install CM11.
This works on Gio S5660?
I want to update and give me always error..
thanks
Already got it for Gio.
Thanks any way

So how to install CWM on a stockbased Ace s5830?
If you come from stockrom:
1. Root your phone, if it isn't rooted yet.
2. Flash CWM 5.x
3. Make a backup
4. Flash CWM 6.0.5.3_1
5. Flash CM11
Hey Mardon, just need a confirmation from you. Is it okay to flash 10.1 or 10.2 with cwm 6.0.5.3_1?

TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.
A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like OmniROM
You can find the source code for TWRP at github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/

Flashed recovery and tried to install some Cyanogen nightly versions. Got nothing but "Error 7", in red, and the system did not start. Replaced 3.0.0.0 with 2.8.7.0, and, voilà, zip file got installed.
Addendum: The UI elements of 3.0.0.0 are tiny, maybe it's designed for a larger display, and really hard to hit. I urgently recommend to stay with the last official TWRP version.
Not ready yet

Same here.
ROM flash fails with this 3.0.0-0 version, but works fine with the 2.8.7.0 one.
The UI elements are a bit small, but not overly so (I don't have big fingers ^^).

I'm having the same problem as you mate and also if you try to install gapps for 7.1 twrp says the os is android 6.0.2 and if you try to install gapps for 6.0 twrp reports that the os is arm and not arm64.
I think it might be a problem with the updater script ether that or the os is the wrong architecture for are phone.
If I install only the rom it does not start and it gives me "kernel enforcing failure "and if I install some kernel it gives me starts but I can not configure because I get errors continuous
I'm going to upload a new build in an hour or so. Google Cloud build has been breaking the builds somehow. I'll upload my locally build ones from now on
New download site.
new link still does not start the rom, I can not choose language because I get continuous errors.
any news on this project?
Does anyone know how to get this rom to boot or have a working version?
I'm going to be working on this more its still under development but for now I wouldn't flash any not of the current builds. I even got phone app fixed but I will have to work on it more over the summer before I'll release anything. Will update when I make some significant progress

Looks like @coderzs abandoned the project back in March. Seems though, since then, someone has been compiling the rom officially on a monthly basis still but, who knows how long that'll continue.
will it become official and will it continue to be maintained? I like this ROM, like my post footer below.
August Official build posted. https://crdroid.net/wayne
After using it for 2 or 3 days ago, there are still a lot of bugs turned out.
internet traffic monitor doesn't work., theme is unstable, heads up doesn't work and there are a few more that make me uncomfortable.
IMHO, this ROM is not as stable as January 30, 2019 build.
