[q] tab automatically shut down itself, not rebooting.

guys i need your help, i have my tab and it shut downd by itself, i have to press the power button to turn it on again, and then if i use it again, it'll shut down again. my tab is charged, it is not drained. someone help me solve this problem.

Try to go into recovery mode. Press Up Volume and Power button together until you see text with reset factory on it. select that and reboot system....

sir i tried this, i even flashed my OS to GB, and still, it shut down itself. is this a motherboard problem?

What is the temperature? It sounds like overheating problem.

sir, i guess this is not a overheating problem. i dont feel any heat on my tab. :/

wired !!!! after reading your thread ... i think its a problem with your tab .. i think you gonna visit samsung service center soon .. sorry buddy . idk there is something will work for ya .. perhaps you wait someone had this problem before and may help u

Hi, I also have this problem too
In my case is modem.bin from 2.2 not compatible with GB2.3.3
Solved by return to my official rom. (phone+modem+csc)

[Q] Anyone know why my note is rebooting?

Just received my phone today and it was okay for a while and now it just reboots it self.

Try do the hard reset first. Turn off, press volume up + menu button + power button together. Follow the instructions from there.

When you have a sd-card installed:
... try to turn it off and remove the sd-card, wait for about 3 minutes and boot again. There is a little change, that you run into a bootloop:
a) depending on too many apps installed on the sd-card
or
b) that your sd-card gets to hot, so the system reboots by itself

Hii i had a very strange problem
I am unable to install the apps..
Touch is perfectly alright but when i press the istall button..it is not being selected
when i press the cancel button..installation gets canceled
My problem is that touch is not responsive only when i press install button
Please help me

Just reboot it and try again.

Hii.. I have same problems like that. Is there any other way than restart my note? Cause i always restart my note before instal anything bout apk file. It make me sickk..

I'm sorry i mean is other way than restart my note. Because I usually do that before instaling apk file.

Tried everything i can do
Rebooted,reflashed paranoid android 0.4a,wiped cache and dalvik cache
But of no use:-(
Any other solution

Have u guys screen filter enabled? I have the same problem but only if i have screen filter enabled.

Solution
If you are still having this problem, I have a solution. You can't touch the button because there are too many views on your system window. Many apps, not just screen filter, have permission to use system alert windows. It's possible that touch events are being transferred to a third-party view. Reboot, then go to Settings > Apps > Running and kill any apps you think may be causing the problem.

i have solved it as i refreshed the boot.img and it works

how permanently get rid from safe mood !!!
when i flashed any custom roms in my gt5830i, maximum times my device apper in safe mood.
i do many process to remove safe mood, some process remove safemood....
but when i do any other changes or any changes of custom rom, it arise....
some times it also occur with some apps.. like link2sd
is there any solution to remove safemood permanently......
pls suggest some good solution

Wrong thread mate...
Do you hold "Menu's" soft button pressed when you turn on your device?
Maybe your menu's soft button doesn't work properly :s
To get rid off the safe mode put your battery out and wait 30 seconds, then put it on again and boot your device

I was meaning "MENU SOFT-BUTTON" (left soft-button), not HOME BUTTON (physical and middle button)
