First off, I apologize for this question because I've read how to do it in the development section but for the life of me I can't find it.
What's the command to check screen type in adb or terminal emulator? I've I've read through the threads but must have missed it. Thanks for the help!

Hello,
I have had my Verizon G2 rooted for awhile now but no recovery. Now that it seems that they have stable asop roms, I might load one of those up. I added TWRP with autorec, but how do I upgrade to the lastest version of TWRP? I tried flashing in TWRP, but it failed. what have others been doing to keep updated with the latest recover?
Thanks,
Keith
I wouldn't bother. AutoRec installs 2.7.0.0 which is good enough for all ROMs out atm. Seems to be a bug in 2.7.1.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449679

Is there anyway we can get a blacked out version of hangouts? Kinda like how team blackout updater use to do before it got pulled from the playstore?

The TBO hangouts works fine, but it's not up to date. I used this one :
http://ultimarom.com/themed-apps/google-hangouts/
Since we don't have custom recovery, unzip the archive and copy hangouts.apk to /system/app and set permissions to rw r r.

It works fine for me. If you aren't using safestrap then you'll need to extract the hangouts.apk and move it to /system/app/
