Hello,
I have a problem with my inEar beats headphones.
Me and my sister use them now over a year and everything was fine, but now they are not working anymore -> but only on HTC devices!
I tested the beats headphones on my PC and on an iPod and they are working fine. On HTC One, HTC Desire X, HTC One S and HTC Sensation they are not working anymore (all with s-off and root except the One S).
All phones don't even recognize that a headset is plugged in.
How this is possible and is there any solution?
Thanks for your help

The SXL does support MHL. Watch the how to video for HTC Watch. At the end it talks about MHL and clearly shows a white SXL being connected to a HDTV via a MHL adaptor.

Got mine today.
Can not get it to work
I have powered the adapter and plugged the adapter into my phone and a HDMI lead into the adapter and then my Panasonic plasma.
Played a movie through MX player and the inbuilt android palyer and nothing happens on the TV when going to HDMI av input on my tv.
I maybe doing something wrong.
When someone receives their's can they let me know how they set it up and if it works for them.
Thanx
Edit
Tried the adapter on my sons HTC Sensation XE and it works perfect.
So it looks like it does not work on the HTC Sensation XL.

absolutely useless man I had mine today tried everything and it is not working hahahah dont know I'm going to keep it anyway may be one day will come out for use
The screen on the wife's XL seems to have died. Everything else works, i can use adb and fastboot and pull files from the sdcard
Screen doesn't even work in hboot/fastboot
any ideas guys? how could I do a full factory reset from adb/fastboot (obviously I cant see anything on the screen to navigate menu's etc)
If it dosent work in bootloader, a factory reset will not help, as it has no effect on bootloader. It's going to need sending back for repair.

Weird phone just started working again on its own! If it happens again I think it'll have to go in for repair. Problem is that if I send it in while it's working knowing HTC they will just say no fault found :-\

It might be a loose connection between mobo and screen. Just try not to throw it about too much, see if that helps

This sounds exactly like the problem I had on my Incredible S, it would be fine, then the screen would just turn off, if you took the battery out and turned it back on again you could hear the sound, the lights came on and the vibration worked, then it'd be fine again. In the end I had to knock the top of the screen and it would work again.. Until one day I knocked it too hard and lost my temper.

Sounds exactly the same apart from the knocking bit. I tried to revive it, and no joy. So I put it down and a couple of hours later the wife picked it up and it powered on and the screen was working again. Nothing to jolt a loose connection
Oh well, will just have to see how it goes

I'm having similar problems, I think. Mine started around two weeks ago. First symptom was screen took around 3-5 mins to turn on when I unlock my phone. Then I noticed rainbow lines, especially while charging. Eventually the issues got worse and I took it in for repair. Pulled my phone out last week while they take their sweet ass time to ship a replacement screen to the Philippines.
Workaround is to NEVER turn off the screen, and do a hard reset in case it does turn off.

I've got an SXL that was actually sent to me in error by O2 in December (somebody registered accounts fraudulently using my details). I waited for them to ask for it back but they never did so I kept it. I've only really used it as a media player because I had my Galaxy Nexus already so I don't know if this has always been the case, but I was going to lend the phone to a friend as his is broken but it wouldn't connect to the network.
I'm wondering if possibly the IMEI number might have been blacklisted? Currently I have 3 Musketeers Total Senseless installed but I've had various others on there and none of them connect either.
Until we get real s-off you can't do anything. But stop by a phone service and check out the phone to be sure.
I have heard about unlock codes in ebay, but i don't know anyone who managed doing that. Wish you luck man
No doubt o2 have blacklisted the IMEI. But if they have not asked for the device back. Your free to use it as a really small tablet

He can ask, but most O2 stores are franchised. He would be best ringing up.

I guess I wasn't sure about bringing it up to them because I figured there was a chance they'd ask for it back. I'm not even that worried about the handset, especially if I can't use it as a phone, but I do love the headphones lol.
Thanks for the advice guys!

They will have claimed on there insurance for the device. In theory o2's insurance company owns that device now. But i doubt anyone will ask for it back

Hi! i am using HTC Sensation XL for more then 2 years and it was good but suddenly it keep restarting and speed is also very slow. I do both Soft and Hard restart but it make no effect on it. My phone is in original form mean its not rooted. What i need to do now ???
Sorry to hear that. If you didn't unlock the BT and root, then service is all that left. Mine is also 2 years old and i am on stock. But never had such troubles.
You sure the phone wasn't got wet or something, coz i think it's kinda hardware prob....
