[Q] Why does this happen when i plug my AHD in the PC?

When i plug in my Atrix HD in my pc, Why does a unidentified network pop up?

Do you have tethering enabled? I'm guessing here because I have never seen that message when I connect my AHD to my pc.

Are you running a custom rom? Other than that, I can't say why this would happen. I have never seen that message when I was running a stock or custom rom.

I've never run 4.3 or 4.4 so that's why I've never seen that message.

its the motorola modem.
it shows up as a lan connection for some reason.
if it really bugs you, just go into control panel on windows and disable it.

Sprint Lg Flex

I have a new sprint lg flex that I unlock using the ls980 method but cant seem to get service running on att like I did my ls980.
Just wondering if there was anything I can try to get it working..
I aslo have the unlock code but cant for the life of me figure out how to get to the unlock menu to put the code in. I have tried different sims and all.. Thanks for any help

Sprint is cdma, and att is gsm. So it will work only on cdma networks

BTW nice work on the g2 use your rom on my g2 now lol

No because it will take some testing. I haven't built one with the spark enabled Rom on the g2. So chances are it will be different mods.

ok just seems this phones are so close I wouldn't be surprised it the modem is the same . Luck I don't use my flex rightnow so when we get a good loki recovery I wont mind flashing anything

I agree, we will see what happens soon. I'm surprised the build prop method didn't work. Did you try to change the apn settings?

Ya it looks like they have patched that one lol just stuck on reg on att gsm

6 lines from the bottom on the build prop there is a ro.telephony.device.network=10 try to change this to a 9 and see if it works

Np just let me know I don't min at all I have plenty of time

Finally got it working.. i did the build prop edit from the g2 and it worked.. only problem is making calls the phone app crashes. But incoming and data mms works just fine..

Looking for ROM to put on wife's bionic. Preferably KitKat. Just looking for stability and battery life. I have a different phone so not sure what's happening in bionic world. Lol Seen good reports on slim.Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for it too, but so far, no. I'll stick to CM10 (JB) for a while longer.

The AOSP WiFi Fix in the CM11 thread fixed it. I can now WiFi hotspot properly.

Oh, yeah, I have. Works like a charm. I paid for the full version since I used it so much; I'd be disappointed if it didn't work :good:.

I have pro also, but with all these horror stories I've been reading, I'm very cautious about what is safe to use and what's not.

as long as you have a .qmg it should work I'm still running thru some other methods for utilizing the bootanimation.zip I'm sure there are tricks out there yet that I just havent found.

YouTube has a few dual boot devices. Then u will see but note 4 be a bit different but you get the point
