I have runtatstic pro and I have installed it in samsung apps store.
when I go to open runtastic pro on Neo it opens splash screen and opens runtastic on phone but does not advance any farther.
I have contacted runtastic support and its pretty much a dead end.
Can anyone help on this or can confirm its working on the gear 2 neo?

On a side note I can open Trainr, Gear2cam, Hotbit, and others just fine.
Do you have runtastic or runtastic pro on your phone?
I've successfully logged runs with it in a g2 neo, doesn't use the inbuilt heart rate though so I had to use the in built running app in the background as well but you can start that and then switch to runtastic and it keeps track in the background

Yes i have Runtastic Pro 5.0 installed
Not sure why it wouldn't work then, the only difference between your setup and mine is the phone. Maybe something to do with a non stock rom? But seems strange that it's only one app.

from what i know, the app doesn't work. I've tried it with my g2neo + s3 and I got the same: stuck at logo on g2 and app started on s3. This happens to all (or almost) who have tried it

When I click on the app on my Swatch immediately my phone shows a dialogue : which app I should open and they choose mountain bike ? I noticed and that's the normal runtastic app doesn't work but in other hand the mountain bike work perfectly I wish they can enter grades the heart rate monitor sensor with this app

I've read the samsung version app (4.5.4) works! But I've bought it on playstore, so I've the 5.1.2... Can someone share the 4.5.4? thank you

Have you installed the gear manager?

1. install gear manager. You can find it on samsung.com or in the samsung apps on your s4
2. try to connect the gear
3. ones connected, look if all the notifications are enabled in gear manager on your s4.
4. If 1-3 is done, and still no notifications, your phone or your gear has a problem. But i think, it will not be the case.
And make sure that your screen is off when the notification comes in or it won't go through to the gear

Do you mean the Mobile phone screen or the Gear screen?

No use. You still need touchwiz
Samsung Gear
I did it with the Touchwiz probiert.Es go since only the functions as in the Nova launcher.
The contact list, call history, photos and video go.
unfortunately the weather dates is not displayed.
Also there is no way Whatsapp add to it.
I use the custom firmware: Elegancia 19

Ok so it seems to be working same as the nexus but still have a few problems to iron out if anyone can help out with a similar setup I would appreciate it.The pictures from the watch do not transfer to the phone not sure why pedometer don't work so uninstalled it and the usual voice and weather apps.I hope we can get all bits working I made this thread pacific for z ultra owners of the GPE rom and gear watch setup hope we can fix things here thank you in advance.
Not going to happen unless you can figure out what parts of touchwiz are required, and then port it
(Or maybe sdk if it is ever released)

To be honest I can live without the voice and weather my calls and notifications work and a load of other stuff very happy that it's even working and that samsung deprived us of being able to use other devices with their gear watch.

Well i was able to connect my gear with my g flex thanks to this info i found online everything works except weather and music, but all notifications work and calls. Also using the new s5 gear apk.

I have a gear 1 and tmobile flex. i have gear manager 1.2 and tizen installed on the gear (XEO region). I cant get gear manager and phone to connect to each other. the gear is paired to the phone though.
Well after spending on this, I found out that I have to use the newest version of Gear Manager (1.7). Now, my main issue is the phone call automatically routes to the watch and not my LG HBS730 that is paired to my Flex. Also the Email app on the gear manager doesn't sync up with the email app from the phone.

I have the watch styler installed, but when i try to create a new face it crashes, and when i try to load a theme from the website(ive tried multiple ones) it gets stuck at @downloading@ 20%
Any ideas how to fix this ? im very excited to be able to use this app

i downloaded mulit-watch but says that it cannot find any wsthemes in the download directory???? nor can it find images like backgrounds from my phone? ideas?

There seems to be a new version on the Samsung App Store for Watch Styler for Gear, which works for the Neo
and I was able to load a Digital/Analog face (Raptor Chrono) which is really cool
I'm having troubles with most the digital faces

Hello, I currently run with my Garmin (GPS) watch, a nano and no phone because the Note 3 is too big. I want to just run with one watch that will be able to track my results and sync to mgt phone when I get back to the car.
A camera should be a huge plus as well.

Dude your only options are the MotoACTV (discontinued) and the Adidas miCoach smartwatch.
Unfortunately the original gear, gear 2, gear fit, and gear neo require another device for gps to work. So they won't be able to map your runs. They will count your steps though. Rumor has it that the upcoming gear 3 can be a standalone device. We'll have to wait and see.
