Hello, I wanted to ask you, what is your favorite app for autosyncing photos from your phone to cloud and other devices? At this moment, I'm using 6 apps and testing them. I started with Dropbox and it was working just fine, but free storage is pretty low. Copy offers you 15GB + 5GB if you use reflink - copy.com?r=PFa9kW and will give you 5GB for every ref you will got. In terms of free storage this is the best service. But for browsing photos I think Google+ Photos are way better. But you have only 15 GB shared with Gdrive and Gmail. I also like Kim's Mega, but I'm a bit scared, what happen to my data, when FBI will decide to make another problems
So what is your favorite app for autosyncing photos?

Mods, if this post is against forum rules or something, please feel free to move/modify/delete this thread at your discretion. Thanks!
Maybe we can sticky this so anyone looking to sign up has easy access to an extra 250mb, or 500mb if you use an edu email address.
Anyway, here's my Dropbox link. Everyone else feel free to post yours as well.
http://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTEzMjg4OTgwOQ
11/18/10 - The person who clicks the referral link has to install the desktop application in order for both of you to get your extra space. Signing up alone isn't enough, apparently.
10/3/11 - Adding my link for Minus. Everyone should feel free to post links to SugarSync and Minus (or others I forgot) as well.

01/29/12 - Here's my SugarSync link too. - https://www.sugarsync.com/referral?...xemail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=referral
05/30/13 - Copy Link. I'm jumping on the bandwagon. - https://copy.com?r=upnBrG
Mod note: Due to some recent posts I have to make this clear. The only types of referrals allowed in this thread are ones that get you more storage space on cloud storage facilities. DO NOT post anything that is to make you money from referrals. If you do it will immediately be deleted and you might get a ticking off for ignoring a mod request.
Thank you
Ah yes, that's a good idea, I was wondering about this earlier as well .
Feel free to use my referral link, I wouldn't mind giving and getting a bit of extra space ,

Yeah, I could definitely use some extra space. In case people don't know, if you use a referral when you join dropbox, then you get an extra 250mb of space for free... so instead of 2gb, you will get 2.25gb for free, and the person who referred you gets an extra 250mb. So please, use one of our referral links and join dropbox to get 2.25gb of free online storage. An easy way to share files with people!
Here is my referral link... http://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTEwOTc5ODgzOQ
Just another Dropbox referral link, in case somebody wants to give + receive some extra free space: dropbox.com/referrals/NTQ5MzE5Mzc5?src=7.
Thanks!
I'll put mine in as I could use a little more space (and anyone wanted to signup wants an extra 250MB)

One more referral link here - lots left. It's associated with an .edu address so not sure, but we both may get 500MB for signing up. Thanks in advance!! www (dot) dropbox (dot) com/referrals/NTMyNzQxMjI5?src=global0
I have a few spots left on my referral too. I'm .edu, that means you get 500MB (not 250MB) for using my link! http://db.tt/CR8gsvz

I can't miss that opportunity to expose myself as yet another 500MB whore
Here's yet another referral link: http://db.tt/OtDagUu Sign up via the link & we both get bonus free storage space on top of the default 2GB.
Remember, the links towards the end of this thread are the freshest & most likely to still work (as each link can only be used for 24 referrals aiui )
Gotta say, I love Dropbox. It's been 100% reliable for me in the six months I've been using it. The software is well behaved & doesn't waste system resources. If you're using a machine on which you can't install the software, Dropbox offer a web interface which works well for file transfer. Great if you're out & about using college/work/library machines. It's a life saver if I forget my memory stick. Not to mention it obviously also gives file access via your mobile. Sweet.
Unlike dropbox, the app Minus offers 10gigs of free space!
Minus offers 10gigs of free space, unlike dropbox and zumodrive. I just wanted to share the application with my XDA friends! Here's the link!

SO Enjoy
@rajverma nice find
Another alternative is SugarSynch.com which offers 5gb free.
Also for those that have their own storage/server somewhere this is what i did.
I used iqbox-svn as synch software on the clients and VisualSVN As software for the server.
It doesn't have any web interface or recovery like dropbox has but heck it's all free and if you got the space/server might as well utilize it.
Ps: Sry for thread jacking
omg, i rly think i will use this!
i just registered.. with one single step, without even a need of email!!
holy ****, all registrations should be that fast xD
Minus.com is taking over the world
Seriously though, it seems to be a far superior alternative to Dropbox. Good for hosting files too, with no Bandwidth limitations. I'm sure a lot of people here will use it to share their dev work.
Thumbs up from me!
CX also offers 10GB free space and it works on all phone / desktop models just like dropbox
this minus, only works for android, iphone, and windows
not as useful as the other 2
Nah man, I'm good with dropbox. These alternatives come with a catch of MINUS the features.
nice, almost filled my dropbox, thanks
meh
it is a lot more initial storage, but i have almost 16gbs free on dropbox from referrals. on top of the reliability and capabilities of dropbox, i find everything i need satisfied that way.
That is a nice find. Is there a way to organize the files with folders like Dropbox?
The big selling point of dropbox is not the size of the space but the ease of use. Their app works easy, site works easy, etc.
I gave sugarsync a try and their website was some CSS/javascript clusterfuck, everything required loading and had to be fancy. Dropbox on the other-hand is a simply file tree, and everything is right there.
Sounds interesting. I will give them a try. Thanks
I simply created an ftp server using iis on my pc and made the root directory a folder on my 1tb storage hard drive. Than used dns redirrection on my website to have it a named server ftp.
Though not all people have the resources i LOVE it.
I have as many files/movies as i need at my disposal on my phone and can link without the worry of getting my links shut down.
Sorry if i'm a little off topic i just thought i'd throw my 2¢ in.
I thought google was doing something similar ????
How is the upload and download speeds

What about resume support?
Yep, I've been on minus for a few days, and I like it more than Dropbox. Got 12 gigs, and if you want more storage use my referral link in my sig. Both of us will get an extra gig.

Depends on ur ISP really.
that is quite generous of them to give 1gb per referral, I think dropbox only gives 0.25gb.

That's what it used to be - don't know about now.
A bunch of us shared folders on Dropbox for Co0kie's Home Tab development work, testing, graphics etc.. I got mine up to 10GB in no time.

It's still one gig. I got my boss to sign up. I have 14gb now
SkyDrive FTW
25GB for free, and no limit for Office files and photos! 5GB can be sync'ed.
And all you need is a Live ID or Hotmail account.
Dropbox is testing a beta of their auto-upload of photos and videos feature. For each 500MB of upload you get an additional 500MB of free space up to 4.5GB. See link below for details.

Do you know if you can keep this extra space for free, long-term? I can't say it's better, but I already have 50 GB on Box.net, so I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble.

Sounds like you're covered.
I on the other hand use Dropbox for a lot of stuff even though I have an "unlimited" Amazon cloud drive account (from work). To answer your question about if you get to keep the space after the beta-test; I believe you do according to what I've read on their forum and on sites like Gizmodo.
Awesome, thanks
I posted this in the S4 forums, but I thought maybe you off-topic folks might want to know about it as well. :good:
Copy.com is a new Dropbox competitor. It's backed by the Barracuda Networks people, so this one's going to be around a while.
If you sign up using my referral, we both get 5GB of free additional storage.
It uses the Holo UI and there are no upload size limits! You can never have too much cloud storage, right?

Hello guys,
I am really interested to know your concern using website chat app. Which chat app do you use usually? I know ChatWing is good so far. Is this really? Do you have any other options if yes, which?
Please let me know. Thanks!
Yeah, I mean chat support.
hey guys i will give a quick update about my experience using Chatwing so far.
1. most important, my users are very satisifed with it.
2. it has been working really smooth and feels great to have a cloud chat and not rely on servers and hosting anymore.
3. the Chatwing android and iOS app have been a greta way for myself and moderators to keep control of the chat and get alerts when their is new activity.
4. my users also use the chatwing apps so they can stay connected to my website chats.
5. the chat has helped increase the number of visitors and also the amount of time they spend on my website.
6. as far as pricing chatwing is by far the best value on the web, i pay $11.20 per month for unlimited usage in my chat, on other chat services they limit usage for say 250 users will cost you $50 per month. Chatwing also has a free version that let's you have unlimited usage too which is really nice just lacks a couple features i wanted like uploading my logo and hiding the chatwing name.
conclusion, give Chatwing a try if your looking for a chat room to put on your website it's perfect.
