I am looking to buy Zenfone 4. Please answer some of these queries:
1. It has an Intel Atom Z2520 processor. How many apps will be compatible with it and will they run slow or fast as compared to Moto E.
2. What is the graphics performance of this phone. Are there going to be lags while playing games.
3. What future support of this phone can I expect. Will it get Android L?
4. How is the quality of Asus phones? Are these reliable?
Anyone ??
I have to make decision to buy this phone today..
SO please share you views...
Anyone ????
Really no one knows about this ??
The Intel processor is known to be dual threaded . which means it's actually a quad core phone . the compatibility as far as I know ... Nothing unusual . graphic ... Moto e I think , moto e vs zenfone 4 ? Zenfone . moto g vs zenfone 4 ? Moto g .

Zenfone 4 has got Lollipop update.
Games like Asphalt 8:Airborne, Iron Man:The Official Game and other heavy games I've tried so far didn't lagged.
The Problem it has is the battery draining, screen unreadable in bright sun light (when going out of home) even at full brightness.
Rest all is Perfect. ZenUI and MaterialUI combined together.
Custom Roms aren't available yet.

The gpu on the S+ is the adreno 205, which is not as good as the gpu on the S. however, android games are hardly properly optimised for their gpus. Instead, android games are usually ports of ios games so what matters more is ram. That's why an iPhone 4 can play nova 3 better than a galaxy s2 despite the latter having a better gpu and better overall specs, including ram. So, since the S+ has more ram than the S, it is definitely better for gaming. Also, as it uses adreno205, you wouldn't need to use chainfire's plugin very often since most games are first made for the Xperia play, which also uses adreno.
Hi, I'm considering to switch my Atrix on something better.
But now I'm confused which one should I choose.
Razr I looks better in benchmarks, better battery usage and better availability but I'm afraid of compatibility with apps, mostly Gameloft games (Asphalt 7, 8 and Order and Chaos Online) and few other which making sense to use smartphone for me.
Other way Razr M have no problems with compatibility but it looks weaker in benchs comparing to Razr I and ARM processor draining more power.
LTE is not my priority so I skipped this for compare.
I read somewhere that Intel have 90% compatibility with Android apps but it was official info from Intel so I wouldn't trust them. Can You confirm this 90% compatibility??

I have asphalt 6, 7 and 8 and works soo good . Batman, spiderman, plants vs zombies 2, there is only 5% of the store that its incompatible with the phone

If you want plenty of custom roms, the Razr i is not a good choice.
I love that phone, but definately lacks some dev for it.
Rooting is ok, CWM as well, but there are only 3 roms for now.
On the other hand, battery is awesome and the device is enough performant to play and use it daily with no lag.

I have both of them and I can tell you that I prefer the RAZR I because battery lasts longer, benchmark is better and I guess almost every app on the play store runs smooth.

Differences between both Razr i and Razr M
I actually have both, and must decide which one I should keep and which I should sell.
Razr i has better battery life, camera button. But I have an issue with bluetooth audio, no matter which bluetooth headset I use and which audio app I use: with Razr i, there is no sound at all, the players continue playing music. There is not this problem with Razr M.
I´m on stock rom 4.1.2 on both.
If that would be solved, I would keep the Razr i, but if not, I would have to keep Razr M (which is great too) because I use bluetooth headsets every day.
Thank You all for replys. I think I choose XT890.
Thread can be closed. Last week I ordered used XT890. Really nice phone, at this moment I notices only 2 incompatible apps from my 140 regular installed apps but this 2 are not so important. Except this everything works like a charm.

none at that price ...
yah you can get one of from your list but they will have certainly some issues so either accept them or increase your budget or reduce yr wish list.
simple understanding that if google sell it's nexus 5 at 28-30k with your requirement ... and google is one company which has lowest profit margin with highest specs... then how can you wish that all these "cheap product makers" can provide you those specs at less than half price ... so deal with that they surely comes with problems...
in my opinion f you don't want to increae budget go for moto G ... it don't have high specs which you wised but it's gr8 phone and no problem ...you won't regret ( PS: it doesn't come with gyrometer so No Photospehere )
Don't create thread for personal and not sgsa related Question we already have OT thread + Q&A thread
Go to G2

Just found that MOTO G (2014) have gyroscope also so photo-sphere will also work + Motorola conformed that it'll get Lollipop update... so now it's ultimate pack at that price:laugh:
Finally i gone with Panasonic eluga u in 15k because i just want 2gb ram phone wich really needs any android phone for reason of its performance and multitasking
2 gb ram 16 gb internal memory 32 gb expandable 1.2 quad-core snapdragon 400 processor with 305 adreno gpu 720 p hd ogs ips lcd screen with Android kitkat 4.4.2.
I don't know it's right decision to buy this one but i really feel power in my hand now all heavy apps running smoothly no lag no hang
So no need for development for this phone no update for lollipop is disapointing but when performance matters i don't need that

You should have gone to GALAXY GRAND PRIME its a 64 bit processor smartphone with snapdragon 410, maybe 64 bit processors are the future of android
64 bit processor grand prime cant able to play modern combat 4 and alsphat 8
Guys which rom do you think beats the other and why post ur benchmarks to support your argument
I don't think any benchmark will help you.. At least I don't think it will be any usefull to have the phone behave like a Galaxy S6 during 5 minutes and then become an Atari during the rest of time because of overheating.. And its overheating even on stock.. (I'm using titan ROM and it was overheating with original kernel.. now I'm using Stellar Kernel on the same ROM and now it's overheating even quicker..) Undervolting is just horrible, sometimes when somebody is calling.. you hear the ringer music playing.. but the screen doesn't react past 5 minutes.. Forget about overclocking or any non-conservative use of CPU or it will overheat inmediately after some minutes. (Best way to test this is to call on Skype with somebody and have both webcams on).
Both are amazing
Test them and decide wich one is the best for your needs.

Previously i owned SONY Xperia M, which was quite old now with low hardware support than moto g3.
But GTA SA was running Nice without any lag.
I played full complete GTA missions on xperia m without lag on medium setting... by default setting.
On xperia m i did not changed any configuration on stock rom...and played wel on default setting.
But on Moto G 3 which is very much powerfull than Xperia m in hardware and software...
But GTA SA is not playable on this handset...
Game lag too much...
Even on lowest setting ...game lag.
I feel shame...when my friend with low end configuration handset play GTA on their set smoothly ...but i cant play it on my moto g 3 ...cause of lagging.
So whats the real cause on such behaviour of moto g 3 for GTA sa?
Can any developer optime it for us?
gta doesn't support snapdragon processor/Adreno GPU i heard somewhere.. PLS CORRECT ME OF IM WRONG.

It played fine on my Nexus 4, if I'm not mistaken. I haven't played it in so long...I could try installing it and see if I can find any work arounds. I have the Amazon version, but unless they've done any major performance enhacements in the last version or so it shouldn't make any difference.
It was probably the 480 x 854 screen resolution of the Xperia M (which also has an Adreno GPU).
The game is likely poorly optimized and very GPU dependent. So the Adreno 305 in your Xperia had less work to do at the lower resolution.
..::Matr!x::..
you can try with this tool to ptimize gpu drivers >> GLTools (free for xda member)
i too got this doubt , why This Moto G isnt playing GTA
i googled every phone which is having 410 processor,
things i noticed :
1) Other than Moto E and samsung A3 which are having 410 processors, every other phone having resolution of 720p has LAGGED ( exactly like our moto g)
2) Old moto G 2014 can also play the game which is having SD400,
(phones compared and similar to moto g 3rd : Samsung A5,redmi 2 prime )
i feel that its the GAME which is not optimized for 410 series, because this GTA plays good in Old phones which are having SD400 and even small processors with 1gb rams
Batmanark night rises is heavier than this GTA but it is playing better than this GTA,
so i vote for GAME NOT OPTIMIZED rather than complaining about our Moto G

The fact is that since the game is not optimised for sd410 so there are very high frame drops and the game feels to be sluggish.
The game is not optimized for a sd400 chipset. I have a HTC Desire 610, with a sd400 and with the app resolution changer, I bumped my resolution up to 720p. Even one stock ROM, no root, it would lag. Now I'm on cm11 and its still lagging. On my brothers old SGS3, it plays SMOOTH on max. The game is not optimized for the snapdragon line of chipsets. It seems Mali GPUs and powerVR GPUs and tegra GPUs run it smooth.
A Galaxy s2 run it smoother than any Snapdragon 4xx device.
