Do all these cases have this bubble showing on the back side? There seems to be a cavity on the inside. I don't know why the cavity exist. Looks more like an air bubble between the two plastics.

I have my SN2 for 10 days and i am using a tpu case from day one..today i found marks on the metal coat . Can i remove these marks?
nope, there will be some small marks, had it on my SGS2, still better than having no case IMO, after 1.5 years the marks didn't increase a bit. Planning to get a case for the Note 2 anytime

What sort of mark is it? A scratch? A dot? Or what?

They are dots but not deep..
Photos please. I like to use TPU, but am wondering what it does to this device.

I have just found a dot on mine too...but it doesn't make sense to me how the tpu can be the cause of it...but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there when I first got the phone

The TPU cases will scratch your phone's outter body, and there is no way to remove it but it will protect your phone.
I haven't had a device with Chrome Trim since my Touch Pro 1. I can see how little bits of dust can get in between the tpu and body of the phone. Some slight rubbing can cause the scratches I suppose. I haven't seen any on my last 3 devices, but then again they were dull/semi gloss black.

But why? There are only dusts between the tpu and the phone , so what is scratching it?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Dust with include microscopic bits of grit - this is the culprit
I guess ideally you can use one of those clear skins on the body of the phone. Then use the tpu. No scratches anymore.

Had the same problem with the s3 and original slim cover

can we see pics? Better to know how bad it could get before I cover mine up with a TPU case

I ordered a few of these for my titanium Grey GN2 and they are my favorite cases by far! They are brushed aluminum with metallic plastic sides. The inside is lined with a felt material. I have the light blue, silver, and black one as well as pink that I bought for my girlfriend. They make my phone look very sleek and expensive compared to any tpu cases I have!

I've also seen these listed on eBay... They come in 9 colors I believe

Do they interfere with phone signal and/or nfc?
I haven't had the chance to test NFC but my phone signal doesn't seem to be affected at all.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
Can you check if GPS signal is affected?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
Just checked my GPS using the navigation app and it locks on and works perfectly with the case on. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is NFC. I just tried it with my Nexus 7 and it was a no-go until I removed the case. But my phone signal and GPS are working just fine. I don't really use NFC so it's not a deal-breaker for me personally.

I have this case. The build quality is really good. Feels better in the hand than the other plastic case I have (ion guardian). Reception and gps signal is fine. Only compliant I have is it doesn't fully cover the top and bottom of the phone.
Another user posted a video review of this case.

Just to be clear, these cases aren't made from "brushed aluminum", they are plastic with "brushed-aluminum-color" finish....
I have 3 of these and I assure you they are mainly brushed aluminum with metallic plastic around the sides and camera area. It is very easy to tell when examining them. You can tell by the edging where it is cut. It also has felt lining inside to prevent scratching against the aluminum

I really like the black one but the silver one is my favorite. I use that one the most

I had the same issues with my bumper I removed it and those problems are gone

Do you still see the little nib on the screen on the corner where the problem is?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
Yh the nib doesn't show up in the corners and when writing I have to press twice as hard in the corner for it to register. Everything works fine with the bumper off.

Is there any case that has a similar texture and feel to the battery back of the evo 4g? Its like a hard plastic wity a rubbery texture.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Any of the rubberized hard shells. When you search cases just add "rubberized" in the search string

that's the cheapest/closest to a rubberized hard case you'll find unless you're looking for a matte finish tpu - then go for something like diztronic.

diztronic tpu matte black case
i had a evo 4g lte and used the same case
texture is very comparable
the "free case thread, free case" is that texture. it will cost you under $2.50.
Ok. I have the PureGear Coconut case and it's the best ever. Love it. What I think we'll look cool is if I put a skin on the back of my g2 it will show through the clear back of the case. It will also kind of his any scratches or scuffs that may be on outside of case as it goes in and out of my pockets. The only two sons I know of are skinomi and Exo Skin. I'm only going to put on the back because the case covers the sides. The case will actually hold the skin on tight so they're all be no edged curling up. What's the difference in these two? Which ones is better? Is there another option?
