Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!

You can download gapps here.
For "apply" you use a recovery (CWM / TWRP / recovery Phill).

No thank you You are the developer here
Been using this ROM for 24 hours now and it will be staying as my daily ROM.
It's fast (not as fast as cm11 I feel though but could just be down to animations) very stable and a good all round ROM with excellent features. The heads up and lockscreen notifications are my favorite additions and save lots of time.
Only feature I would request is more status bar customisation because it feels limited. Things like clock centering, date display etc.
The added third party apps (Chinese?) would have been better as an optional thing too. I use UC Browser but the language barrier made it useless to me thus just taking up space until I manually removed them.
Battery life seems reasonable with greenify and all system mods on but BlackSP ROM seemed slightly better but this ROM is in no way bad battery life.
Very stable with no fc's at all so far. Very excellent work
Does William Kernel works on this rom ?
Does anyone know how this rom compares to Vanir? I reckon vanir is pretty stable and fast. I wonder how good this one is
is this rom based on CM or ASOP?

CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. The team is composed of former members of Team Liquid who have forked the code in an attempt to bring greater speed, better coding, and full authorship to code. We are in no way affiliated with Liquid0624. The rom was forked at Liquid beta 3.2.1 and has since undergone major code changes and modifications.
We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. Hmm i can't confirm that... I'm on that rom from first day. And for me it is smooth without any lags. What I've recognized is if i want flash a other kernel i have to reboot more than once... In this time its laggy but after that the rom works great on each gouvernor and sheduler.

so @OP,
how can i build this from source?
the official carbon github does not have the device trees for the p880, far as i can see only cm10.1 has the device trees.

Features
Android 4.4.4
As of today:
This is all very much a work in progress. Carbon Fibers are still in the process of being merged with 4.4.4, but I'm sure it'll be ready soon...
(all features will have to be verifed)
Halo is gone due to bugs this feature was causing to other features, so omni switch is here to replace it.
Bugs:
None for now!
U tell me...

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our G+ Community: http://community.carbon-rom.com This is where we spend the bulk of our time and the best way to reach us and other community members. We update and frequent this community far more than XDA, simply due to time constraints and the convenience of G+.
5) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Sorry but i cant...Someone has to port it; and its actually a big job to make it work bugless, on aosp/cm11 based roms!!!
Thank you so much for this ROM for ZR !! Been waiting for very long time!
Edit 1: Successfully flashed the ROM and restored all apps with titanium backup. Will run it for few days and report back. So far it's smooth!! It flies!
Edit 2 : Enabled Double-Tap to Wake but it doesn't work. The screen lights up after double tap, but the screen doesn't detect any touch anymore.

Thanks Alx31TLse!!
will you be planning to do regular updates for the ZR?
First i will try to provide this carbon to devices wich doesn t have it (in KK) and then i will update, i built it for Tab Z but having issues with carbon fibers
This one here is bugless or almost...if some changes are done to sources and gives more functions i will update asap, and will try to bring more roms to zr too...

another promising rom, great.
the only thing I really miss is the fm radio app. unfortunately this problem is recurrent on all aosp based roms

u still can use tune in radio from gplay but...i know its eating data
possible bug?
Hi Alx31TLse,
Not sure if its a bug or I'm just a noob, but i tried to add some lock screen shortcuts. on the lockscreen however they get displayed in a straight line below the time widget but there is no way select them.
If i enable 8 lockscreen shortcuts i then cannot select which shortcuts i would like to add, it gets greyed out.

This rom is made for d410. but it should work on other models too.
report back if it works or not on other variants.
THIS ROM IS BASED ON @ Quarx device /kernel sources Please find time to go over to his cm-11 thread and thank him and if you can then donate to him.
Also donate to mokee developers ....their work is amazing.

did you used zenconcepts 's cm builds in the cm thread. they seem to fix wifi.
here is what you suppose to do...to mostly fix wifi
1.in your build.prop add following line at the end.
Code:
net.tcp.buffersize.wifi=4096,221184,3461120,4096,221184,3461120
2. in your file maanger (give file manager root access in general settings >>exit>>and restart the file manager)in the root folder there is a file name
init.zetaw.rc

@kahmad989: it isn't a general theme, only the way showing sms-notifications.
@Bodo_1: I found the ROM for international. I suggested to change the link in OP. Risk of bricking.
Tested your ROM and found some nice extra's, but some ¿bloat-apps? with Asian text only, too.

If root is lost and can't be activated via dev-options, the SU-app will fail, too (can't load the binary). Imho.

Nice work here. Fast and smooth even after I installed all my apps. There is one thing...where is screen density settings? I don't like 320 dpi screen
