Just received my brand new Z3,but already feeling the itch for some customization.
Someone already tried playing around with xposed?
It is fully working or at least some features?
Thanks
After rooting/bootloader unlocking the phone, I installed Xposed. It works well. I use the following:
App Settings - I made systemUI (and most of my non-sony apps) 240 dpi.
GravityBox (smaller nav bar, orange icons, replacement battery, AM/PM removal, 3 dot on nav bar right, search on nav bar left.
Tinted Status bar
Xperia Xposed - installed but I decided not to use anything
Please note, per conversations on general, unlocking the bootloader will irreversibly worsen the camera's low-light picture quality and kill native miracasting/chromecasting ability linked to Sony's DRM keys
I'm using tons of Xposed modules and I couldn't live without it. It's one of the greatest pieces of software ever written and I'll stay away from Android L until Xposed works on it. i never felt the urge to use CM or another rom since I'm using Xposed, GravityBox alone is such a mighty module that it replaces a plethora of third party rom features.
It's really hard to live without Xposed after having it for so long on my Moto X. I'm just not willing to lose the camera quality by unlocking the BL. Of course, there are other things I'm itching to do as well with root (like freezing and deleting lots of useless apps that suck battery!)
I am using xposed with
- xstana module
- tinted status bar
- gravity box
Everything works perfectly!

I don't mind losing some of the camera quality either, I believe that people will either find a way to reverse the process, or make something better.
I'm just waiting till I can backup my TA partition.
Sent from my D5803
I istalled Xposed and run xled, xquiet hours and cyan lock screen the lose of the cameras low light abilty is not a big problem i use camera fv5 and change the iso settings
So no way in hell to get root without unlocking the bootloader?
i was using pie controls from gravitybox with navbar disabled, but i found out that pie doesn't appear when using camera with physical button with phone in standby.... anyone can confirm this?
I use XBlast and Xposed LED Control.
Both works fine. What does NOT work is GravityBox. But why? Can someone help me?
When trying to start it, it says "GravityBox System Framework does not answer" in german. in english perhaps its something like "cant retrieve System Framework data" or something like that.
It doesn matter how often i try, always the same error message

You need to enable it in Module and restart phone. After that you can do what you want! In Download section, you can find more module with search filter by typing: xperia

I think gravity Box can not handle sonys ui. Had it before on lg g2 stock rom. Just some features worked. Keep in mind that gb is actually for vanilla kitkat(aosp, maybe cm)
GB worked fine for me on the Z1C, but eventually some features require a deodexed rom. I've always been using RomAur.

I did not mean you have to enable xposed installer. I said: you have to enable GravityKK module by tick the box, do nothing more, restart the phone first. After that you can config without any framework message error!
xposed works great
I using xposed for remote play (ps4)
and its workign great!

Yes and as i said, i used Xposed before. what i want to say with that is : I know how Xposed works and how to use it. I know that you have to "activate" modules with the checkbox.
still, GB won't work.
I have P7-L10 running stock ROM, bootloader unlocked, but phone rooted.
I am thinking of installing Xposed but afraid i go into a bootloop where i will not be able to disable xposed because i have stock recovery. Did anyone tried Xposed with rooted stock ROM?

Xposed and Huawei don't mix very well unfortunately. I have a stock L10 B609 EMUI3.0. I found Xposed V2.5 will install but gravity box won't work and it ruins the theming engine. I also have a L07 B125 EMUI2.3 with a custom rom and Xposed 2.5 installed. Once again the theming engine is affected so I use another launcher. Parts of gravity box work but most don't. Xposed won't affect your phone, stock or custom rom, but the chances are you won't be able to use most of the available modules. Later versions of Xposed don't install at all in my experience. Good luck!

Later versions do install, but you have to disable resource hooks in xposed for it to work. This means that modules that are theme related won't work. Other non-theme related modules (like xposed torch, rootcloak, disable charging led, ...) work fine.

I Think They Do Work Proper(almost Proper) Together .....
I Have A Totally Black Google Now Launcher With Red Icons and Also Have On-The-Go Mode and Screen Record mode Using XBlast Tools ....... I'd Say They Work Perfectly Together
I will Soon Remove The Stock Launcher and ALso The Themes And Get Some Free SPace in /system and Internal SDCARD ... U Should DO The Same
I think this is directed more toward launcher devs but anyone's advice is welcome. Which files in the Google Home apk need modding to remove the search bar on the home screen?
I am surprised there are no responses, for a flashable zip or a replaced system spp?
Perhaps not what you are looking for, but if you are rooted and have Xposed, I believe XGELS works with the latest unofficial alpha build of Xposed.

Not what I had in mind, but will look into it, thanks.
Hello everybody, I am Brazilian and I had a very strange problem on my phone after installing GravityBox module. Well, GravityBox is not working until I install Framework for recovery, after that, I managed to open it, but unexpected things occurred in my smarphone. Once opened, the notification bar Transparante was a very strange way and my phone stopped recognize yourself the network ad-hoc wifi I created in my windows.
I believe the bug occurs because of my rom, as I use a galaxy, it came with a TouchWiz.
If they can give me more information, I will be grateful!
Note: Ignore my English, I know it's horrible.
My phone is Samsung Galaxy Gran Prime Duos, SM-G530BT model, we can suggest me one custom rom, I'll be even more grateful!
Please, if this is the wrong area to the topic, excuse me.
You must install Xposed before installing any modules like GravityBox. I don't know what will happen if you do it backwards, but it could be bad.
Also, in order to use Xposed at all on that device, you must have a deodexed ROM and use one of the unofficial versions of Xposed.
What ROM do you have (including version number)? What exact Xposed files did you install, what recovery did you use, and how did you do it? Were there any error messages during installation? Are there any error messages in the Xposed log? What version of GravityBox did you install?
Have you tried uninstalling GravityBox, and reinstalling it correctly through Xposed?
Last I heard Samsung and touchwiz needs a special version.
From the Gravity Box thread:
- Samsung Touchwiz, HTC Sense, MIUI, LeWa, etc. are NOT supported. It is not guaranteed this module will work on these at all so try at your own risk. This module is simply too complex to support all kind of ROM brands that were vastly modified by vendors.
- DO NOT USE WITH CUSTOM ROMS LIKE CM,AOSPA,ROOTBOX,AOKP,SLIM, ETC... IT MAKES NO SENSE AND CAN CAUSE CONFLICTS AND UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

So if you want to use Gravity Box it would be better if you had an AOSP rom but you have a Samsung phone so I don't think you will find one...
I was running CM11 on my Nexus 5 for all that time and didn't liked the CM13 because the only Xposed Module that i use is not available in MM. it's Application Settings, it can make me launch apps above the lockscreen, and change the DPI as well! any alternatives?
yes I've already googled the question and i found 2 posts on Reddit, but all are pointing to the community version that available on XDA for Lollipop 5.1 and it does not work on MM! yes it boots up with out any boot loops but it does not work.
Is there any Xposed module alternative or even any way else?
Thanks.
