Lock your bootloader, DO NOT S-ON, run this RUU, you are back to stock.

Hey Guys...
I need to find the proper shipped ROM so I can go back to stock...
I found one that says Virgin mobile but it has AU in the title so I was thinking maybe that was for Austriala...
Do I just download one of bell's considering they share the network?
Sorry I'm a noob

You stated you wanted to go back to stock, so did you S-OFF using Revolutionary.io and are running a custom ROM at this point in time? Is your intent to return to stock and S-ON state?

Yes. All Canadian Virgin android devices use the Bell ROMs.
They don't just share the network. Virgin in Canada is owned by Bell.

Since you are S-OFF using Revolutionary, when you run the RUU it should update everything except the HBOOT which will leave you S-OFF. The RUU will replace CWM with the stock HTC recovery, so you will need to reinstall CWM and then you can use CWM to install the latest su-3.0.x.zip to get root and superuser back on the stock ROM.

No, in order to run a stock RUU, your bootloader needs to be relocked.
I have a htc one WWE (htc_001) and i must send it to SAT to repair?? the gap between aluminium body and plastic but the phone is rooted with custom rom(arhd 6.2) and upgraded just with the radio 1.29.401.12. Any solution to relock the phone and put stock(ruu 1.28.401.8 and recovery.img)?? thanks in advance
Regards
up
To go back to stock, you need to run RUU, but I don't think there's a RUU for htc__001 at this moment. Moreover, even if you relock the bootloader and flash the stock rom, it'll still appear as relocked.

Yeah. Just stuck my radio img in the new installer. Check your baseband and compare to new radio listed on radio thread. Definitely the old radio.

My advice is to keep S-OFF and CWM and just flash this stock, rooted ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908187
It is based on the last official ICS ROM for the IncS. Or a better one to consider would be mike1986's ARHD which is based on the same ICS ROM but includes all of the most recent supporting application.
Thanks but is there a way that i can deactivate S-OFF and completely restore to the stock rom? I like the custom roms but he is blaming the root and custom roms for freezing and he is about to open a crack in my head

Root is the not the problem. Use either of the 2 rooted stock ROMs that I suggested and he should not have any lockup issues.
Otherwise, you will need to remove the Revolutionary S-OFF bootloader and replace it with a stock HTC bootloader before you could run an official HTC RUU to go completely stock. You will need to search this forum for the posts that document that procedure, but they are so old that some of the links that they reference may not be good anymore.
So again my advice would be to keep S-OFF and CWM and flash a stock, rooted ROM based on a HTC official IncS RUU.
I am seriously in need help.
I unlocked my HTC one bootloader, flashed a custom Recovery TWRP, and has Android Revolution 11.5 installed
I need to get it back to full stock, and I do not know how.
I need your help and a quick tutorial to restore it to stock.
Also, from where can I get the files to get it back to Stock.
Please help
Any help?

If you`re not S-Off and have SuperCID look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582 and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317536. If you`ve done that you can almost flash any RUU. Didn`t you make a backup of the original rom to restore?
Hi all,
I have rooted my phone and have put a custom rom on it. I wish to keep it rooted but go back to stock rom. Any help please would be appreciated. I have s-off at the moment,

Follow nkk71's Guide to Return to Stock! Use it as a guide since you want to remain rooted and are already S-OFF. Please note: if you run a RUU it will revert the custom recovery to stock recovery. After the RUU is run successfully, you can install a custom recovery and then root afterwards. Since, you are S-OFF you want to remain S-OFF.
Sorry my mistake its s-On. Will the guide still work?
