What up people's,
Just out of curiosity what would happen if I were to try and sbf back to gingerbread? would it brick my phone or would I get some error stating I couldn't do it?
Thanks

One .sbfs were replaced with .XML firmware files, the droid x2 was last droid to use sbfs.
Downgrading will semi-brick the droid 4, should be able to restore with correct firmware.

Is this not possible without the fastboot files. Since being rooted my phone is very glitchy. My wife has an x2 that was also glitchy. I was able to sbf to out of the box and its perfect now.

You could try unrooting and then do a factory reset from stock recovery.
Will try that tonight. Thanks

I just did the stupidest thing. I was cleaning up my sd card for more space when I went to my safe strap folder and just decided to delete the whole folder now I realized the second I did that I don't have an unsafe system to flash to. I'm on 5.7.906. What do I do!!??

Do a backup of your safe and flash a nonsafe.

I had trouble finding Droid 3 Bootstraper also. I have upped it to depositfiles. It's the only version I had saved (I believe it is ver 1.0.0.5), and I'm not sure if there are newer versions than this.

Here's my regular bootstrap. Not sure of the version, but I used it last in December of 2011 I think. It worked fine. http://db.tt/WOJWhdu7

Need some assistance. When I got my bionic, I immediately wiped and installed eclipse 2.2 using ROM manager. I just tried to do a factory reset, and reboot. It is still on eclipse. I did not use Safestrap or bootstrap. Is there a way to get back on track for ICS from VZW?

Wish I had saved the original backup but erased it, why don't you flash the fxz image found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2411618
