if u guys just like to get the phone back to work, it would be the best to just flash a new ROM via ODIN. After that, the phone boots normally.
But I dont know if this is an option!
Hope u are still able to get the phone to downloadmode via 3-Button-Combo?!

Home button isn't working -> no 3 button combo
try using a jig to get it in download mode and flash a stock rom
In recovery mode, you also can boot system with power-button.

[Q] Problem with extended power menu mod

hey guys!
I'm a SGS owner (not vibrant or captative, but Samsung Galaxy S I9000), and I'm trying to make my own custom rom based on JVR.
First of all, after changing the kernel and add applications I need (and I guess that another people too) I decided to make mods like 9lockscreens with EDT, ext. power menu, etc.
So, I've done it, ext. power menu mod. But i have a problem:
when I press on Reboot, Download or Recovery, I see a message that says:
Title: "Power off
Text: "Your phone will shut down"
Buttons: "OK", "Cancel"
In fact, if you press "OK", the phone will reboot, reboot on recovery or reboot on download mode.
But, ir you press "Power off" option, the phone will shut down without message...
Could anyone help me please? If you need some file, please, tell me about.
Thanks!!!

No. i9000
I've found that sometimes going to "advanced-->reboot recovery" and then "reboot phone" sometimes fixes this. Everything seems pretty hit-and-miss though, you sometimes just need to mess around and flash the hell out of it.

Try the power menu options, when you press restart you should get option for restart recovery, download, Reboot. Choose recovery and press ok. If you dont get that option enable the advanced reboot option from Developer options. if already checked, uncheck and recheck. To enable developer option press on build number 7 to 8 times.
Thanks Bro!!But Still no luck

This happens when one of the storages are not loaded properly then you get stuck on the twrp splash screen. Sometimes it takes about 20 seconds for the menu to appear.

No issues on beta 4. May be you need another clean install.

[Q] How to access the recovery menu on Lollipop?

Hi guys,
I've been using the soak test rom for XT1097 brazilian Moto X since yesterday.
Everything is running ok on the device, but I cannot access the recovery menu.
Does anyone can help me?
Thank you!
Once you get to recovery with no menu "tap the volume up and power button together".
After the first menu, where I select "Recovery", the screen shows me an opened android.
When I had Kit Kat on the device I used to push volume up for 10 seconds and then tap the unlocker button to access the recovery menu.
I've tried many ways and I'm not having any success, even with the advice above.
Took me forever last night to get into recovery menu too. Here is what works for me on lollipop. Hold power for 2-3 seconds and tap volume up.
