[CM7 Theme Chooser] StatusBar Transparency Patch

I recently switched over to CM7 and I tend to flash a lot of different themes, but the Meizu theme really caught my attention. I dig transparency in the statusbar a lot and this theme just doesn't look right without it. I couldn't find a patch for the Fascinate's CM7 and didn't know if one of the already-made patches would work so instead of being lazy and risking it I made one myself. If you have no idea what I'm talking about take a look at this thread.

FLASH AT OWN RISK! - There should be no problems since only the SystemUI.apk is being replaced but you never know.
For JT's CM7 Test 5 only since that's what I used and not sure if other versions will work. DO NOT flash on any other rom!
Two zips are attached to be flashed in orange CWM:
SystemUI_Patch - Enables transparency/ mods pulldown
SystemUI_UndoPatch - Reverts to stock
Instructions:
Get to orange CWM recovery
- Open terminal emulator
- Type "su" and hit enter (allow permissions if you hadn't already)
- Type "reboot recovery" and hit enter
Choose install zip from SD card
Locate and choose SystemUI_Patch.zip
Let install then reboot
...Done!
Note: This patch will NOT make all themes' statusbar transparent only those that support it such as Meizu, Naked Simplicity, and Easy Day.

Plus, I couldn't get it to work on my LG Vu. It seems that my phone has to have some kind of Android on it :'(

AndroWiz, is a CM7 Droid 3 rom made off Hashcode's CM7 rom, please be sure to thank him! I used Fr4gg0r's TouchWiz Launcher, which made it run and look great. I plan on begin theming the whole rom this week.
It gives you both CM options and a TouchWiz launcher which equals some awesome features!

I think it will, but I can't confirm 100% since I don't have a XT860 to try it on. I would defiantly have a backup, just encase. I recommend using hashcode's safestrap.

Glad you like it! As for the Chinese, I would not be expecting it, I have enough on my hands working on the issues.

Sounds like it does already with GPS. Hopefully calendar syncs and doesn't force close. I kinda need that for work but I don't want to leave 4.4!

4.2 and 4.3 images for N4 stock are around 350mb too, this port is not big at all, its common size

PA is built from AOSP, this is port of Nexus 5 stock image.

I made a build from his GSM port for the Grouper but it is buggy (as is the GSM version) and the framwork needs modding to fit our resolution. Im not gonna mess with it anymore (or share it for that matter) because it's not my work. I've sent a PM to imanesarus offering assistance.

if this rom can be tested only on gsm nexus7, i have the grouper so if you want i can test bugs

Hey all, I got permission from imanesaurus to make a Grouper build which I did. It's buggy but I'll upload it for you all to play with. I will be working on it this week to hopefully get some of the bugs worked out.

MIUI is designed for phones so there is still some phone stuff in this ROM like the phone app and signal bars in the status bar.

That link is dead I managed to find a mirror but word of advice
Always attach an md5 hash with your upload links in cases like thus so we can verify that the mirror/s we find can be authenticated to have the original file.

thanks, i tryed it, the launcher works perfectly but it would be better with 5x5 grid.
The browser force close, and there are some screen resolution probleme, there are a shadow in the bottom of screen in some apps.
And the top GUI of all apps is buggy.

Build STK based ROMs for various devices. I used his build on g3 and they were as good as a LG firmware based rom could be. Speed, battery, smoothness all the typical stuff. Haven't used his shamu build so can comment on that. If you use please post your thoughts

I'm still in testing phase so not posting anything yet. 1.0.2 just got uploaded a few minutes which should fix some issues I had with the previous builds. SkyDragon will come to the forums once testing is done.

are you using my kernel instead of stock? and rom v1.0.2? If not. try rom 1.0.2. My kernel is the only one included that supports kexec hardboot but I don't run multirom myself so haven't verified it works completely yet. There's also a chance it will replace primary rom due to how the rom installs. Everything is still very much in beta at the moment. I've really only uploaded specifically for my team to test but if you know where to find it I can't stop ya
