Is there a way to port the Digital TV app from the Brazilian version of the Z1 (C6943) to others like C6903? Or theres a hardware need?

I don't think it's possible. The C6903 has no digital TV tuner.

Hi!
Is there any simple solution to use the volume buttons for taking pictures with the sony xperia z camera app?
(my xperia z is rooted, so changing camera.apk wouldnt be a problem at all, there was a fix for SGS2 but of course the apk doesnt work on the sony)

Of course I did, but there is no solution for the Xperia Z.
And as I wrote, i want to use the stock camera app from Sony - not any 3rd party which, in your case, also costs money.
Is anyone else's music through bluetooth terrible with the 4.3 update? Any ideas on a fix? I've tried various ftfs and full restores to no avail ;(
What do you mean terrible? I'm using MW1 with 4.3 and everything is fine, with less power consumption.

Mainly constant crackles/distortion on highs (cymbals, etc.), running through both a DS220 and a Sony BT stereo. I've experienced it on a lot of other phones/devices over the years but never on something made by Sony I've looked through some threads on generic issues with 4.3 BT audio but I just wanted to see if others were having the same issue with this specific firmware first. Do you know which update you're on?

I'm using a Sony SHB20 headset and i'm on 4.3 update 14.2.A.0.290 and I have the same problem. The sound is terrible... It's like a crackling sound... Can't say if it's because of this update, becuase I didn't try my bluetooth headset until this update, but the problem is definetly there.
Yeah, mine definitely sounded great before the 4.3 update - with my limited knowledge I've tried replacing the a2dp and bluetooth .so files from other .290 firmware and even the 4.4 z ultra firmware with no luck. Not even sure if it should work anyhow.
Did you unlock your bootloader or root?
There is another thread for this on Sony's site that hasn't been active since last week also but may be good to keep an eye on (can't post links since I'm a n00b)
Yes here I have same Problem before the 4.3 update the sound was fine. Now its Bad as hell hopefully somebody can fix it because I listen a Lot of music over Bluetooth headset. Im on a generic Europe 4.3 Firmware rooted and unlocked Bootloader. Sry for my bad english coming from Germany

Possible temp fix?
There's an app on the play store called "xperia z1 bluetooth media fix" that you might try. I haven't listened enough to tell if it works very well but from the test I did earlier it seems to sound a little better, but to me it's still not quite as good as I remember on 4.2.2.

I've tried this app too but I Don't here any Differenz But I search on Google and found out that the Google nexus Devices had the same Problem with 4.3 Firmwares... There was a fix for it but it wont Work for us. Bluetooth fc's After I try to replace the 2 files(audio.a2dp.default and Bluetooth.default) in system/lib/hw. So maybe a dev could take a look @ these 2 files and edit them for better quality because I cant open them and I dont want to break my Bluetooth

Acknowledged. I have exactly the same problem. I use two headsets : MW600 and Smart Wireless Headset Pro and both have this problem. I can say that the problem was due after upgrading to firmware 14.2.A.0.290. On firmware 14.1.G.2.257 everything works perfectly. Yesterday I installed several times 14.2.A.0.290 and 14.1.G.2.257 and accurately shows that 14.1.G.2.257 everything is OK, but on 14.2.A.0.290 like 64kbps .
As mentioned above, a topic about the Nexus 7, a similar problem. There it is treated by replacing 2x files. It would be great if someone knowledgeable would look at it all. Because wait for a fix from Sony can be very long ...
I found the topic at Sony, who cares - and vote for the issue. Maybe then Sony will release an update. Bluetooth A2DP quality on 14.2.A.0.290

Hi, I am facing the same problem.
I have a SBH 50 headphne, and the audio quality is worse than with my Xperia S. Plus I get constant reconnection, it get disconnected and it connects a minute after. I think this may be related to the throw feature.

I just flashed the C6903 14.2.A.1.136 BAL firmware and it's much better for me now. Hopefully LTE is still working on it too..

Yep, anyone who face problems should update the FW to .136
I confirm it much better now . LTE works fine for me

I dont no but I was assuming it would use tge same type of hardware as I read that it had something to do with the lcd touch panel on the z ultra which tge z1 has just the feature wasnt enabled on it and could be the same for the z if anyone can work around this it would b nice

yeah but the Z1 uses different screen technology to the Z.
if it was same hardware, people would have posted about it now i reckon

I believe the Xperia Z uses a different screen hardware to the Z1 so this may not be possible.

Brazilian Xperia Z2 came with Digital TV app instaled. Works great. But the firmware has a lot of bugs (17.1.A.2.55). I want to install newest Z2 firmware but these doesn't has Digital Tv App.

Note 3 rooted knox 0, bootloader locked, my last Samsuck crap. I want freedom.
That will be of no use since D6503 supposedly does not have the in-built hardware for that. You can take proof of that by actually installing the official D6543 rom in a D6503 phone, and you will see that it won't catch signal of any channels because it doesn't have the tuner. Sad, I know.

You won't be able to install it as normal Apk because it's a system one. You can only install it on the same firmware it came from for security reasons.
Also, the Camera from 4.1 will *only* work on Android 4.1 firmware for Xperia Z. Anything newer or different and it needs to be ported, because again - it's a system app.
In short, what you are asking for is not as simple as you think.

The Oppo Find 7 Camera Application (DeOdexed) works on a Note 3 with Android 4.3, but the one from the S4 Zoom and Note 2 always says:

Lol yep. The Sony camera has a lot of dependencies, it ties into the system pretty tightly. Needs to be "ported". Are you on an Xperia Z or different device?

My device is a Note 3.
But it's just interesting to see that camera app on the Note 3.
I also wanted to try, if the limitless burst shot and HDR Video works.
The Oppo Find 7 Camera, with it's 50 MP HD-Images (which beat up the M9's Camera, but don't reach the Lumia 1020 or a Lumix FZ1000), works on the Note 3.
With that HD-Images, the detail amount lies between G4/S6/Note4 and Lumia 1020. (It's like 930 or so...).
But the colour quality of S6 and G4 is slightly better. The S6/G4 also have a little bit less noise than this HD-Images.
