Just came home and got my mom's nexus 7 to update it to 5.0
This just popped up:

Nah, just flashed the factory image. No way I'd update it 3 times if I can do it only once.

I was curious so I manually updated through my phone. This is too big!

No matter...the update is most definetly 5.0.1...useless thread. And above that you posted in another thread about the Philipines...so no point in opening a new one...

I just got the OTA on my US model C5502. It is 418 Mb in size and I am downloading right now. Great firmware support by Sony. Even the Nexus phones do not receive updates for this long. Owned a Galaxy Nexus before it and even that did not go beyond Jelly Bean.

I got my notification update for 5.1 today. I'm from Malaysia

I was prompted with new update yesterday, from the descriptions it said that this update will include new/enhanced features. May i know what is the features included?

Wow, that's a big update!
Lets hope its not 6mb of security patches and 250MB of Samsung bloatware.
Let us know the changes when you've installed it.

I think I saw somewhere else that the Wi-Fi dropout bug (that some experience,) has been sorted out.
Lets hope this is the case. :angel:

I have updated late yesterday.
No problems with the OTA update process.
So far I did not find anything broken!
Too early to say much more.
