Hi everyone, I see that in Cyanogen rom 7 there's a FM Radio app that is part of the system (I think). I have a gingerbread Stock rom rooted and with the SU and quite satisfied with it, but i would like to have something similar like the FM radio app. So my question is: There's an FM Radio apk for gingerbread stock roms?? or this is something exclusive of the Cyanogen rom ?
Thank's in advance
Cheers
Unfortunately, the FM radio app requires changes deep within the system framework. So, without a custom ROM, the FM radio app cannot be used. Your only alternative is to use a streaming radio app.

My FM app does not require framework changes.
It "almost works" on most Nexus One ROMs, except for audio.
I have an experimental method that can get FM audio out directly to a Bluetooth headset, but the audio quality is awful.
I'm trying to determine if the FM audio path can be enabled on stock kernels.
I've installed the last stock ROM in my mother's Nexus One, and I finally achieved to run FM radio.
I used the last custom kernel from @intersectRaven (downloaded last version at http://intersectraven.euroskank.com/kernels/Nexus One/2.6.38.8/20120112_14XX/) and the old free SpiritUL application (I don't remember where I downloaded it).
At this moment, I only found an inconvenient: you can't use the radio and bluetooth at the same time, you need to turn off the radio and then turn on the bluetooth.
I hope this response can help some other users which are searching a solution for this problem as me.

Yeah, there might have been 1 or 2 now rather old versions of Spirit UL that were effectively released as free.
Newer versions can work with BT on, using an HCI/Bluedroid shim library, on 4.3+ AOSP ROMs with /system/lib/libbt-hci.so .
But you still can't get FM over BT on Nexus One.
Hi all,
Pardon me if its a noob question, but just curious.
I noticed that on CM7 ROMs the FM Radio sometimes bursts loud.
I tried to replace it with the Stock ROM's radio. Even changed the permission, but now the app force closes. Later I replaced it with More's Radio, still unable to play.
Why is this happening? Or What did I do wrong?
Any information, suggestion and solution appreciated!

Hey Guys
I have an ipega bluetooth gamepad, and it works on cm 9.1 perfektly with all buttons, but on other roms (ICS Stock, Django, Cm 10/11, ...) it doesn't work...
But i don't like the CM launcher, because i can't sort the apps in the drawer free (no alphabetically) -.-
So is it possible to modify the DjangoManouche Rom with the bluetooth components from CM 9.1?
(I treid it to copy and replace some components from the cm9.1 to Django e.g. the Bluetooth.apk, libbluetooth.so,... but then the blueooth doesn't start on DjangoManouche)
Or could I use the Launcher from DjangoManouche on cm 9.1, that i can sort the icons free?
Thanks for ur Help! ^^

Please take more care when creating threads in future... there is a Q&A forum here for a reason.

Read the Bagyusz CM11 thread that detailed some radio info but no idea if it works with PA or not.
Spirit FM used to work in my PA...
But I removed all its code. It wasn't clean and didn't work out of the box.
