MOTOROLA DEFY 7 PROJECT - WP7 Theme - Help submit better instructions!

This is NOT my theme. This is a theme by Adrian Mignogna for Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher EX that also incorporates Desktop VisualizeR and other apps. The instructions he posted are vague at best. I'm a little lost on how to set this up, so can somebody please contribute some more detailed instructions?

It doesn't tell you at all how to set up the live wallpaper other than pointing it to a folder... need to know all the details, how many screens, sizing options for wallpapers, etc etc etc... there's very little actual info given other than the downloads and where to point the wallpaper to...

Dark Carnival
This is a transparent red & black theme for all the juggalos here. Extreme clown in this new version *<)
Transparent glass topbar(not 100% trans) it matches the apps main bg & is black on launcher pro homescreens unless you use live wallpapers then you get true trans, also is true trans with the trans apps i included. & i included another launcher that has trans topbar all the time.
Also in launcher pro on homescreen press menu\preferences\appearance settings\highlight style\classic.... & you get blood splatter app icon press background

Special instructions - If you dont follow these instructions prior to download you will have problems!!!
- Use "Root Explorer, Root Uninstaller, Super Manager to delete stock FB, desk clock & market(vending.apk)but only if you have not gotten the new new completely redesigned market or if you have version3.1.3 please check first...
- Uninstall Pandora if you have it...
- & last & most important!!! AFTER FLASHING USE THE ROOT APPS STATED EARLIER TO REMOVE LAUNCHER PRO FROM DATA/APPS & MAKE SURE ITS DATA IF YOU DELETE FROM SYSTEM IT WILL REMOVE MY THEMED LAUNCHER PRO... THIS IS DONE TO REMOVE THE OLD LAUNCHER PRO & KEEP YOUR SETTINGS INTACT

[FIXED] only one .9.png left in launcher pro to change & its finished, but i cant get the apk to recompile... someone please help... i dunno what im doing people help me all the time & i ask em to tell me how they did it & i never get an answer...

This is why I don't decompile/recompile apps lol.
I know this may not be so helpful now, but for the future just extract the drawable-hdpi folder from the .apk, edit what you need, then place the drawable-hdpi folder back in the .apk. You'll need 7zip though (or WinRAR, but I suggest 7zip)

do what acer said. just use 7zip (free) and Open the OLD (unedited) .apk archive. Then take all your decompiled png files and drag them into the open (compiled) .apk archive. Your images will overwrite all the existing ones. then just back out of the .apk file and it will be fully compiled and include your custom images and WORK.

i thought you had to decompile to get the .9's to work right? But anyway i got it workin!!! decompile - edit .9 - put new .9 in compiled apk

Typing up thread i gotta got alot of info & thanx to put 2gether along with screenshots, special instructions, & add on's

This theme is more than epic. Lots of cool things. Animated pull downs, themed apk. If you are a fan of the red and black combination, look no further. This theme has it all. Red and black transparent:

On the non transparent side of things you have
Moded Calculator

Swype looks awesome. (when button is pressed it looks like its breaking glass)
Internet search bar is red and black

The animated pull down is a surprise for you juggalo/lettes out there. Muggy picked this theme up when I didnt think anyone else would. For that, I thank him.
Basically what Im getting at is that greenmuggy worked his a** off making this theme. If there are any Juggalos/lettes out there looking for a theme to suit you; this is it. Custom ringtones are an included. So please give some love to greenmuggy. If I happened to have fortgotten anything Im sure Greenmuggy will straighten it out.

Yes you will, but right now I'm being a good ACS team member and supporting my fellow themers in getting their releases done and helping where I can as well as working on some other things.
By the way, if any of you have not had a change to look at zhkilla's ACS theme in the ACS forums, you should check it out. It is BAD ASS!

No, that's only png's to replace the one's provided by Launcher 7 by default. You have to extract the zip.

@Koulis2000 i found a bug in sms app, if a message contains phone numbers they are white on white background...
Edit: and there is color banding in reboot submenu (extended power menu)

I was able to recreate the SMS bug and I know where it comes from, I also think the extended power menu bug that you faced is also cause by the same thing(clearly my fault)
, but, can you send me a screenshot of the extended power menu to see it for myself? I don't really understandwhat the problem is.

The extended power nemu seems to be the only thing i can not screenshot with onboard screenshot function, wait a moment i need to find something... and yes, it is enabled through develloper settings menu.

Hi, square ok now. But now tuning wider steel, and there are places where the dark background
Perhaps because of the screen resolution 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA), the images are not suitable))

Now the power menu isnt themed anymore, probably also the same issue @Alexey71 has found

Statusbar layout is different in kk. So only theme engine won't be able to change it.

I appreciate your effort for making this theme there is a bug with the weather showing up properly in the status bar and hope that you can solve it. (Image attached)
Also is the font used in this theme android n's font?

I'll look into this matter.
Yes the font is same in Android N

An easy way of implementing the text based clear all would be making a transparent image of the text and using it as the drawable.

Weather gets padded along with the clock in the expanded form.
So I'd to expand header and decrease the clock margin.
check if the last update fixed your issue because I couldn't test it (for some silly reasons my rom hates to show the weather).

It works! I really appreciate you took the time to fix the theme as the other guy who created the guide on adding Android N to your theme just said to disable cLock's weather. Thanks!
