Do I have to wipe data/factory reset or wipe cache when upgradeing from Zaiben RC11 to RC12?

I have flash my device....but after the flash finish...I unlock my device there remains the htc logo....

hi everybody i have download and install stylishperia 1.7 (CM9) and the wifi have not any internet access but the earlier version 1.6 have!!!
how can fix it? is there any solution? i cant ask it in rom thread because i have not permission to ask there!

Step 1: Enter recovery mode
Step 2: Make nandroid backup
Step 3: factory reset
Step 4: wipe cache/dalvik cache
Step 5: install ROM and gapps
Step 6: reboot system

I wanted to ask if the version of Paranoid Android 3.15 is compatible with my s3 lte French model. You can select the language Italian?
Then forgive the ignorance, but the kernel is already integrated in the rom or must be downloaded separately? I read about an exclusive Franco Kernel ...!

Im using rXTREME JB 4.1.2 v13.1 with CWM-based recovery 5.5.0.4 (CF-v1.5);
if i want to try rXTREME JB 4.3 v1.1, do i have to upgrade something first, or just flash the rom?
(I followed this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1967124 the first time)

That should have been done before going to any custom rom.
Sorry for the noob question! To upgrade from v1 to v2, will it wipe my phone, hence loose my data and settings?

It will wipe system but not your data.
Settings will stay. So will data. Just flash over.
