Another try to make a bootanimation..
This time I just extracted the frames from the famous youtube video and applied as bootanimation as a surprise to my wife...
Her device is a Tab2, resolution: 600x1024 - but you can try editing the desc.txt to resize for you device...
Here is the results:

Hey guys this is a HD Bootanimation for our HD-Devices.
The Images are not mine i'll take the animation from a video and convert it to work on 720x1280 devices.
Images was converted and optimized as well as possible, images was revamped, the boot works smooth and fast...

Based off the Borderlands 2 Doomsday trailer (youtube link above). You can use the borderboot.zip to flash or just copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media and set permissions to -rw-r-r.
It's nice because if the speed varies or lags during the boot animation, it isn't noticeable (unlike big animations like cm9)
added flashable zip
Looks cool
Thank's
I tried to make a friend's bootanimation with sound...so this is the result of the attempt..
It's a portrait one with sound (music theme)
My smartphone is a Xperia Z1 with 1080x1920 of resolution... but I believe that will work in any phone if you just edit the "desc.txt"
It's working fine here...
Tell me if you liked...

There are 6 resolutions:
1080p (not really, 1080x1980)
720p (720x1280)
480p (480x854)
360p (360x640)
HVGA (320x480)
(540x720)
If some are missing just request it in comments, i'ill update the post.
Everything should work, but tested only 1080p and HVGA.
There's an additional fading out animation inside, that's never used, unless you edit desc.txt to use it.
Instalation:
Zip IS FLASHABLE!
...or you can grab bootanimation.zip from the zip, /system/media/
