The specs look like they are compatible and maybe only reflashing a compatible modem is all that would be necessary

Can c6906 work on LTE frequency 1800?

I have a Z1 C6906 which is the Canadian model. It supports 1700 LTE but not 1800.
Where I live, our LTE network is 1800mhz, but my phone doesn't connect to it.
My question: Is there a way to somehow enable that frequency on my phone? Is this purely a hardware incompatibility? For instance, can I flash another baseband to enable it?
Thank you

Are all Z4 phones (E6553, SOV31, 402SO and SO-03G) have the same hardware?

Hi,
From what I know there are 4 types of Z4 phones, one international version E6553 and 3 Japanese version.
Could anyone tell me are they have the same hardware but different ROMs, or they are different from hardware, too?
The reason I ask this question is my SIM cad only supports FDD LTE on 700 MHz, 1700/2100 MHz and 2600 MHz.
I searched all Z4s on frequencycheck.com, and found E6553 supports all three bands, while SOV31 only support 700 MHz on my SIM and the rest support none.
So I'm thinking if I bought a SOV31 and rom it with the ROM of E6553, will it be able to support all my LTE bands?
Thanks in advance.
Ive been trying to find out the same thing. I have a sov31 and have tmobile as my carrier, but it only will run on 3g hspa+
and there is no switch to use lte, it only allows to run at&t lte.

Does G800F support LTE Band 4 ?

Hi
I own a G800F (5.1.1, rooted). I'm trying to find LTE band unlock info, but I found Qualcomm unlock info only.
So, the question is: does G800F Exynos hardware supports LTE 1700 (B4) ?
I mean, specs says LTE 1,3,5,7,8,20, but is band locked or it has no antenna for that ? (I live in Argentina, Band 4 only)
2016/06/13 - Ok, I found that G800M supports B4 and appears to have same Exynos than G800F. Any starting points ? Tools ?
thanks !
regards
