Charging battery

Hi, I got a strange idea .. I would like to know if you can change the battery charging phone is turned off .. because it is really bad .. perhaps with that of other phones

you mean change the animation while charging the phone with the.phone turned off...AKA : LITTLE batt being filled with.white lines?..
YES ! It can and has been done....im not sure what file you delete and replace, but yes you can change that...better ask a dev. im a flash-whore, but i dont know how to program....

How do i now if i need to replace the battery?

I have the original battery since i buy the phone (2 years ago) i think my battery drain is because is old how can i check it ? and which battery to buy same hes i heve(1500mhA) or the 1900mhA that i saw in ebay ..?

depends on what you are doing at the time.....
are you playing a game or using wifi......
use a battery app and see what is using howmuch....
check the battery in settings for example...

If you run out of juice quite so often it might be handy to have some extra battery on hand. An extra battery is only a few bucks anyway. Also changing ROM and/or kernel can have a huge impact on running time. Some ROMs get you 6hours and others over a day of usage.

I bought an original from amazon. performance as opposed to the old is enormous. I use the CM10.1 Rom from tonyp and KK122 Kernel from pengus.

I had a problem with the charging port on my galaxy note so opened it up and fitted a new one, I've had a charging port issue before and changed it with no problems only this time, it charges just fine but for some reason my phone has trouble connecting to my network, I know it must be a antenna problem but not sure what ive done and what I might need to replace (if anything). It sometimes get a signal but doesn't keep it. Please if anyone can give me some advice on what might help to fix this issue. I'm due a new phone in February but need this one to see through till then. If anyone an help me fix it, when I upgrade to a new phone I will send you my much loved n7000.

Edit: DON'T do external antenna thing that written in post #30 in that forum, it couse more trouble than solves.

Phone getting very very hot while charging

Hey guys,
I replaced my battery with a new Samsung battery for note and it seems to be working fine. But at times, or may be every time i put my phone on charge, it heats up a lot and doesn't charge at all, when i notice, i unplug it, switch it off and charge again and it works.
Any idea what is going wrong? This never happened with the battery. Also this new battery takes almost 4 hours to get fully charged.

Does the problem come after replacing the battery? If yes try to ask samsung

HELP please SIR

I have a galaxy note N7000.
From 1 week it is charging slow and when i use it while charging plugged in then it discharges.
I have Tried changing the ROM but nothing happens...I tried Changing The Kernal to the speed Mod Kernal but then also same problem.
I buyed a new battery but it is doing same.
I have no idea that whats going on. Plz Experts here can anyone help me ?

Always ask question in Q/A thread bro
check your charger might be problem is in charger or data cable also clean charger point in your note it could be due to carbon arise in charging point if every thing goes fail then take it to Samsung service centre bro

I think your charing have a problem !

I think ur charging port is damage. send ur mobile to Samsung care

Sir.....but its charging ..but really slow...if it was damage...there must be no charging of the phone.....so what do u think??

I have a same problem like u my charger is faulty thats why this happen to me phone shows charging but drops while u using i change my charger all ok

Sir i changed the cable also.......dont know whats happening..... ......seee battery loses 1 % in 3 minutes......and when i connect charger if i lock ns put away it charges but very very slow...nd if i chat surd net during charging ...instead of charging it kept on discharging...plz help me sir

try closing all the apps, turn off wi fi, turn 3g off then try to charge.

GT N7000 can only boot to recovery.. HELP!
Hi,
I am new here and I do not know where to ask this question. My GT N7000 will only boot to recovery if turned on. I tried Odin but it wont flash because I could not find a custom 4.1.2 ROM or a stock ROM 4.1.2. Please provide working links so I can download the stock ROM. PLEASE GIVE WORKING LINKS FOR THE STOCK ROMS TO BE FLASHED.
