Hi All .
How can I block messages / calls with the xperia z ? I have (for now) stock kitkat 4.4.2 .
I have tried many apps from the market but will not work with this xperia z. Don't block messages / calls
On my Lg 4X hd (kitkat rom), s2 (stock and andorid 4.3), S advance and olthers android phone Call Blockers apps works fine.
Kitkat has already integrated this feature but the Sony has removed

I've tried them all, only NQ Mobile Security work sometimes. But unfortunately nobody blocks messages.
They are excellent programs and work perfectly on android device, but on this xperia don't work.

Hello, I have (little) question about the following:
I have updated my phone to a Android 4.3 ROM, now i really want the Sony Walkman app, and the sony album app and movies,
I searched for a flashable ZIP, and found something, I flashed it, i saw the apps, but the only thing what was working was the Movies app, ( i got Sony Walkman has stopped working, When opening) and i guess it is because i am at Android 4.3,
Are there any ways to get Xperia Walkman app on Android 4.3?
Also another question: If i already have 4.3 on my phone, do i need to flash the FTF Files for 4.3 again etc. ( and wipe everything etc.)
( i know normally you dont have to, because you are already at that Android version, but now because of this is 4.3, an unreleased version, i was wondering if this was the case too, because i dont know if all ROMS are sharing one Android version, or if every rom uses a different one

I searched for a flashable ZIP, and found something, I flashed it, i saw the apps, but the only thing what was working was the Movies app, ( i got Sony Walkman has stopped working, When opening) and i guess it is because i am at Android 4.3,

Worked fine on my device all what i can say is check you internet or try factory reset or flash an FTF or hard reset
I can't run whatsapp on novafusion's CM11 (20140702) with ART selected, have to change it to dalvik, anyone having the same problem?

Not all apps are compatible with ART yet. There was a list of supported apps somewhere on the net (search for it)

Basically its because of ram management problem.Clear your ram & greenify unnecessary apps,you wont face this problem ever again

I always use Clean Master, Greenidy and in App Settings (Xposed Module) i had locked Xperia Keyboard in RAM but the problem persists

Try force-closing the keyboard and re-opening again. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but you can give it a shot. Had the same problem with my xperia u when it was running honami moonwalker rom.

I run stock 4.3 rooted with no other mods and don't experience this, though I have removed most bloatware from the system. The ram is almost certainly the issue, our 4.3 has poor ram management-unfortunately not much can be done with stock kernel. Anyway as |>/\nte said force stop the keyboard and clear it's data and cache. If the issue still persists then remove bloatware from the system and any other un-required apps.

I had this same frustrating issue on 4.3 on almost all keyboards. I tried stock, swiftkey, swype. Ended up flashing a custom rom (kitkat) and it's gone.
I notice there is not the stock Xperia messaging on the XZ1. I knew that. Now I undersand why, it's because this app (august 2017 version) cause conflits with Android 8. There is a recent update of it ? Or we must continue to use Android Message ?
You can use any other Android Message App and set it to default app for messaging.
I know that. I asked this because I prefere Stock Xperia messaging app.

it's possible to use stock conversations with android pie, i'm using it right now (on xz1).
got it from the xz1c chinese firmware (links on xda), but you need to place it on system/priv-app manually and also replace /system/framework/ext.jar with the one from chinese firmware or it will force close (something changed on a google library used to parse phone number function )
