it is included in mcr2.9 as it is part of htc sense. probably won't work in other roms.
Oh, I thought, that is the Widget of the first HTC ROM with flipping times.
Sorry.
I still cant figure out how to get it to work on my phone.. I just said forget it

It won't work without Rosie installed (and running). It's an HTC widget, not a regular Android widget... it only hooks into SenseUI.
Also, if your question is why doesn't it actually flip, that's a limitation of the US version I know for sure... the animation was taken out by HTC because of the drain on system resources. The animation may or may not be functioning in the widget released in Europe.
I did pull this from the original rom so it should flip but when i posted it i thought id like to give it a try and i couldnt get it work either so I gues htc must have changed something else in the ROM that it relies on maybe... Im far from being an expert though so don't know if it should be able to work or not
Sorry
Not working on my Samsung Epic 4G. Is there a similar widget that works WITH the flip clock animation intact for non-HTC phones?

Lacks the animation, but it's the closest you will get. Remember that it's removed due to a C&D, so you can't get it or post it on xda.
I have my own black version of the HTC flipclock that i rebuilt/themed and the animation flips/works perfectly, i've uploaded it for you (install through recovery as update.zip and make sure it does not go on sdcard, has to be on phone storage)!
It would be great if a Dev could make this work with non-sense roms
Enjoy.
wont install on my optimus one

the thing is the flip clock needs the sense framework.....if you want something similar to it...download applanet and install fancy widgets pro and theme the home widget i paid for the app but if u need it for testing i suggest this. the clock its identical to the sense ui analog flip clock
i wanna a htc flip clock for cm7
OUPS I didn't see the 2nd page....

Is there a way to get the footprint widget from HTC Desire to DHD?
The location widget currently in DHD takes up a whole screen 4x4.
The Footprint widget only took 2x2.
Is there an .APK to download from somewere?
This would indeed be nice
Try it and let me know???
here is the apk but it didn't install on mine .
it is taking from the Desire Rom.
I couldnt install the apk-files.
They must probably be modified in some way first.
Had my hopes up for a fast install.

I would imagine they would have to be modified slightly, like the Notes and Tasks widget was

try: fancy widgets in play store (;
Yeah,i know about that, but i want something that is animated,so when i unlock my screen the animation starts by itself. For example if its raining when i unlock it,it start to rain on my screen or snowflakes start to fall if its snowing outside.
I don't know if there are any apps that do what you want, but you won't get the HTC one. The HTC stuff all relies on the Sense framework, which can't simply be ported across.
Try beautiful widgets. It has an unlock animation..

Hi there,
does anyone know any possibility how to enable auto rotation for htc sense 5 ui (=blinkfeed, etc.)?
here's a link of a previous version doing that:

You can, but it looks like crap.

oh...weird. the previous version in the youtube-link looks good, though.
Yes, I think HTC dropped support for it in their framework. It's a shame.

HTC SENSE 7 LAUNCHER FOR S6/S6 EDGE
Ok guys, so far this is just a base for a project, currently my device doesn't have root, therefore I'm doing what i can without. Therefore here is the sense 7 launcher working that can be installed on your Galaxy S6/Edge. Install both APK'S
Once/IF we get root i can definitely get things working better. However, in the meantime, when placing widgets you can jut tap them, and move them later.

Just stalking the forums lol. The wife got the Gold Edge so I figured I would look around and kill some time. I'm worried about the battery life for her use. She got the gold edge because it was pretty lol. Why did you not really like the edge?

I wasn't digging the way it felt in my hand honestly and my hands would occasionally touch the screen on the edges
I assume no root needed?
Anything special to do to install this?

No Notification Badge Numbers on icons
I assume because we arent rooted yet on this one that the Numbered Badge icon notifications that go on top of the App Icons won't work until we can get it rooted and figure it out? I have the sense launcher installed and when i get new emails or text there is not badge number on top of the icons?
Any way (presently) to change the settings for the clock/weather widget on the Blinkfeed page?
Update: Went to the original creator of this launcher to get what I was looking for

I have that version running on my S6 Active and it works great. I had an HTC One M7 before moving over to the Active and after using it for a couple days I started missing that Blinkfeed and this seemed to cure my fix. Kinda like the best of both worlds, the only other thing I miss is the front facing speakers, but I guess the military ruggedness will have to make up for that.
