I tried to install a rom but it kept booting to the rom then restarting and looping.
So i tried to change to .651 to fix it.
I'm not really sure what I'm doing and shouldn't have done this til I researched more but now I can only boot to the bootloader (the thing with flashboot and hboot) and I relocked it for some stupid reason and now it says tampered relocked security warning. I can't get into recovery to do anything. I just want the phone back to stock. Am I bricked? Please help as soon as possible.

You need to unlock again, and flash SuperSU after you flash the ROM zip.

Well, here I'm again, I'm sorry.
After trying some roms I decided to stick to the original Android 2.3.5 and I wanted to reinstall that through a RUU. I relocked my phone, wanted to boot it but it boots automatically in HBOOT. I can't get into my recovery, when I want to do this it shows the HTC bootscreen and starts up HBOOT again. How do I fix this?
nvm. shouldn't be this stupid. Already fixed. My excuse people.
Hi guys. I think I have bricked my One.
Basically I relocked the bootloader because I wanted to go back to stock however now I am stuck in the bootloader and cannot do anything.
The RUU wont work, everytimre I hit reboot it goes straight back into the Bootloader as it does when I select Recovery and Power Down. Cant get into Recovery or anything.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Fixed. Unlocked bootloader again now working fine.

I think I have made it worse, I though I would try and relock the bootloader and and use Method 2 - flashing RUU (ROM Update Utility) which was going well untill I got a fail message wrong bootloader. Now my phone is constant bootlooping into bootloader.
I phoned HTC UK this morning about repairing my phone they said they would replace the motherboard which would cost about £100 so I think I will have to do that:crying:

When your phone is in bootloader, does it stay there?
OR does it reboot itself

It reboots constant can't even turn it of.
I'm returning a Telus phone for warranty replacement but I didn't make a backup of the stock recovery.
I did find one on XDA somewhere and it works.
But, once I lock the boot loader and put it back to S-ON the device reset & recovery access is gone.
What happens is the phone reboots to reset but it just reboots again back to the ROM. After rebooting to bootloader it says TAMPERED and Security Warning at the top. I also forgot to mention recovery is not accessible at all.
Now, what I can do is lock the bootloader again and put S-ON and hope the technician at HTC won't try to access Recovery or perform a data reset.
Should I do that? Or can someone point me to a TELUS RUU or correct stock recovery image?
I want the phone back to full stock including recovery and S-ON & LOCKED.
Please advise.
Hi,
I'm having trouble getting back to stock. I've recently s-off'd my 1.54 hboot and unlocked the bootloader. I then installed a Google Edition ROM. All was fine until I've tried to go back to stock.
I locked the boot loader and any RUU just gave me a 155 error. I had to unlock the bootloader, install a custom recover and install a Guru back to stock ROM. This got sense back onto the device, but the stock recovery seems broken, it just went to a screen with a red exclamation mark. So I flashed the latest recovery I could find, but its still gives the same issue, I've since relocked the bootloader and tried 2 RUU's, both just error out with 155 errors.
On setting up sense, part way through, the setup tells me the phone is a test phone and that tell HTC is on by default and can't be changed. Is this because I am s-off'd or that the boot loader is "relocked"?
The boot up screen also still has the "Google" image and not the HTC one, but sense is working fine.
Any ideas on what I can do to force the RUU onto the device to completely reset it back to stock?
Regards
