My micro SD card is partitioned and I have been installing apps to it. The phone does recognize photos, music etc and everything else on the card, although the apps are not reading and loading. Can somebody please help???
When I restart the phone the apps at times do load, but not often. I have tried mounting and un-mounting the sd card in recovery mode but still no luck. Cleaning the card slot also did little to solving my problem. I have also formatted the sd card and did a clean wipe to the phone. The apps were loading but just for 1 day and the problem reoccurs. Completing a diagnosis on the computer to the sd card also did nothing.
I having been running CM6 nightly since it began but the problem recently occurred, so I've ruled that out. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Cheers
I had my Samsung Galaxy Mini for over a year now and had absolutely no problems what so ever even after rooting it.
Week ago every application I try to install gives the "usb memory not mounted" error, so after searching and trying to solve this problem as it is an internal memory space issue couldn't solve and gave up eventually.
Days after I tried to install another application and it did install successfully, but then I restarted the phone and it was gone along with all pictures I captured at this duration were all gone, so I thought it was a SD card issue and started on trying to figure what was that.
I tried to add, remove files via the PC but after mounting the SD card to the device like there's lock and nothing happened. Tried to format the SD card using the device settings and the PC but still after reconnecting the SD card nothing changed.
Thought perhaps the SD card is broken, so I bought a new one which worked fine before mounting it to the device tried to take a picture and there it was, then I unmounted the SD card and mounted it once more in to the mobile and the picture was gone and the same story happened again. I even tried with another 3 brand new SD card, same story happened.
Please if you know what is that and if there any way to unlock the card tell me what to do.
PS. The microSD adapter isn't locked. And I'm not an android professional I'm a newbie XD
Hello Guys.. I have a little problems here.. hope some of you could help me..
Everytime Im restarting my XZ1.. the sdcard wont load and display on ES File Manager and other file manager to..
I should reinsert the sdcard after restarting the device.. Is there any way to solve my problems..
Hi,
Have you tried going to Settings -> Storage and mount SD Card from there, instead of removing and inserting it physically? Also, have you tried to wait a bit before removing the SD Card? Sometimes the system takes a few minutes to fully finish boot (never happened on my Z1, but happens a lot on my Nexus 10), so maybe your system is leaving to mount SD Card later. Just a few ideas .
All the best,
~Lord
If you have recently update your firmware chances are you will need to flash your recovery again, I have noticed that the recovery the SD card are linked, so if your phone is rooted and you have Nuts recovery, and have recently updated then I would suggest re doing the recovery only that should bring back your SD Card.
Not related to Moto G 2014 but a general query.
I have issues in SD card since long time 6-7 months back. Whenever I format or delete any files on SD card, files automatically come again to SD card after reboot. But SD card works, songs, movies I can play.
May be SD card is damaged. Has anyone have any issues like this before? Just Wanted to know whats causing this.
Thanks.
Phone keeps rebooting as it is about to finish scanning the sd card (128gb). This only happens on Android 10 though. I've been using android 9 for awhile and never encountered this.
I can get the phone to stop rebooting if I remove the sd card.
I've also tried formatting the sd card several times and also used H2testw to check if said sd card is showing a dummy file size( and fake sectors that corrupt files).
I have also tried using a different kernel.
The said attempts above have not solved my issue, as a result I turned and look for help here as I dont want to be stuck on android 9 for as long as the phone operates.
