Problem with bluetooth headphones - HTC Desire C

I have problem with bluetooth headphones.
When i connect is all right, but sound plays from phone speaker not headphones.
I tried with my friend Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus and all is fine, like my father's Samsung Solid xD
Someone know how to fix it?
My rom is "RevolutionJB 3.30_golfu_addictz10"
@I changed soft to miniCM 10 and all works fine

is there an app out there that can majorly help the poor audio power out of my new GT N7000 i live for music and the audio out on this device is disappointing to say the least
nothing can help hardware but its worth a try as its that week in my opinion
As long as you are plugging in via a jack and not over Bluetooth then yes, there is.

Yep, I have the same problem. Can't write in the development sections since this is my second post on this great forum.
However, the rom is pretty much perfect in every other way except the earphone issue. This would be by far the best rom if headphones worked correctly.
Looking forward to a new version of the roms and thanks a lot to the developer in advance.
We are also working on fixing the last audio issues that we have in our roms.

Hi Andrew,
First time poster, but already been getting help from your posts. I've successfully installed Vanilla Rootbox 4.2.2 JB rom on my HTC sensation xl and same issue with headphones. The sound doesn't come through headphones.
As you said you are working to fix it, is there any update available now? Please help. Also I discovered another issue. I tried to connect my phone with my car bluetooth. It was connected successfully but I couldn't hear the voice properly from my car audio device. Is this issue related?
Many thanks

So bluetooth code is broken?

So from reading just about all the threads in the dev sections, it seems that Bluetooth is something that is inherently broken frome htc? This would explain alot of things...including why my awesome Bluetooth nyko controller doesn't work. lol. Anyone have any input on this matter? And i guess another thing i was curious about is the leaked 4.2 RUU that was posted in the dev section, does anyone know if the Bluetooth is fixed in that by chance? I know that the jump from 4.1.2 to 4.2 was a large improvement of Bluetooth for my nexus.
Bluetooth works just fine for me. Granted all I use it for is the headunit in my car.

Thats really weird. I always have problems trying to pair any bluetooth controller to the One. They all say they pair but never work in any apps :\
Bluetooth source is botched from HTC just for the Sprint variant. So on stock kernel you'll be fine but until fixed (which I'm working on) all custom kernels you won't be able to use bluetooth for calls. Streaming works fine.

Bluetooth pairing worked fine for me with my car, and I was able to import all my contacts to the car. Haven't actually used it for an in-phone call yet, but so far no issues. I also haven't rooted or run modded kernel/ROMs.
Bluetooth is only broken on custom kernels. I use viper rom and use Bluetooth all the time in the car for streaming and calls as well as at home with my desk headset from Plantronics.

This was my experience as well with my nexus s 4G on Sprint. I've had serious low volume issues with my HTC One when trying to connect with the factory bluetooth in my car (2004 330ci). I started a thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2266974 ) but have yet to receive any replies. Good luck!

Thanks for working on this! I love this phone aside from this, which is a serious inconvenience. When you say you're working on this, is it a custom rom or custom kernel that you're working on, or just the bluetooth problem specifically? My phone is currently stock, but I'll happily root it if you release a solution for this. Thanks again!
Bluetooth is so slowly for my cell phone.

Placing phone calls doesn't work (Can't hear/they can't hear me)

I just picked up my pair today, and I'm already having a minor issue. Everything works perfectly, but I can't hear/be heard when I make a phone call.
I'm hoping that this is a problem with my phone, and not my glass, but when I try to call a friend they can't hear me and I'm unable to hear them. I'm using a rooted SGS2 that's got CM10.1 running.
Anyone run into this, and if so how did you fix it?

Try flash back to the Sammy official rom, it should resolve the problem (driver issue for CM maybe)

Weird Problem, Audio related

I got these ibeats earphones, worked fine on my sony Z until today.
I thought it might be the earphones but these work fine when connected to other devices(different phones, laptop etc)
So I thought it might be the Sony Z
The free earphones that come with the phone work fine, infact I have tried multiple different brands of earphones just to make sure and they work fine
But
As soon as I connect my Sony Z up with my ibeats no music comes out of them, infact it comes out the phone speaker.
Never rooted or flashed my phone, all standard
Only thing recently changed is that my Z got the 4.2.2 update last night, they been working fine since April so i don't understand. Since I got the update I listened to some music on my way to work, no problems, on my way back home that's when the the fatal weirdo problem occurred. I would appreciate any help or suggestions to amend this?

u r saying this happens only with ibeats earphones? thats weird..
this appears to be a software related issue.. do u use any apps lyk smartkey or smart connect? if yes then check the apps' settings.
additionally, r u using walkman app or any other app for listening music? try to check in the player settings too.
hope this helps...
hit thanks if u feel i have helped u in any way....

I don't those apps, What are they for? tried xperia diagnostics and got the earphone to work but only one side was playing so i suspect, its fault or cable issue, which is the reason why this happened, taken back the beats for cash back, using the sony ones for the time being. I only use walkman app, player settings don't have much except to change the equalizer. Asked one the gurus at the store I got and he advised that alot of people with sony phones sometimes have this happen with perfectly works ear/ headphones. very usual.
Sometimes new updates just makes it incompatible with some headphones. Like beats headphones from dr dre. It doesn't seem to work for some Xperias or all Xperias.
There was a thread somewhere, forgot where but there's another way around it if you search it up. Try googling it or sth.
otherwise downgrade it to use those headphones or stick with Sony headphones.
You can try repairing it with pcc or sus, or flash another ftf file.

If you are using SmartKey, disable it. Connect your earphones, play music, disconnect & reconnect the earphones.
This worked for a few people, hope it works for you too.
Interesting, some Apple earpods are also causing trouble since updating with the 4.2.2, i have a Bose AE2 but haven't tested yet (i'm at work) i have a bad feeling about this and i hope my Bose still works. Many people seems having troubles with their earpods/headphone.

What does smartkey do? got my new earphones coming through, I hope with the new set I wont experience any problems. Sony work well but volume sucks on them, is there an easy way to increase the volume on this device? Safety crap annoys me, back in the day walkmans were crazy loud. What ever happened to giving the consumer a choice.

Some great tutorials in the development section for when you're ready. If you're investing money in decent earphones then the improved sound mods will certainly benefit you.
Xperia Z
Its because your beats uses a inbuilt microphone... my Apple earpods also has inbuilt microphones and the Xperia Onyl recognizes Headphones without mics
got the same problem but i must click like 5 times on the headset (play button/answer button for calls) to make it work so the music goes trough the earbuds
try some headphones without micrphones built-in and see what happens then!

Sadly do not own the earphones any more but I do have a new set that works fine, remote and mic are questionable as this was made for apple products but I do not mind , What earphones do you own if you dont mind me asking?
Are those the ibeats from htc? That could the issue because mine don't work either. Htc told me is an issue with the headphones since they are specially made for htc phones.

SmartKey lets you configure the button on the earphones.
You can set it to perform a different action when you press the button multiple times.
For example, you can set it up such that if you press the button twice when music is playing, it skips to the next track.
You can't change the actions, but it is a bit useful.
As for the volume, take a look here & here.
