check dev section. but there are not many roms available for XZR as its very low activity device. there is one ultimate XZR rom based on latest kitkat and CM11 for which you will need unlocked bootloader.

No bro. its based on latest kitkat 10.5.A.0.230 and its imported from XZ section. (XZ XZR and XZL have almost identical roms)

I am using stock rom from last 1 month and its smooth just turn on gpu acceleration in developer options
I ported eXistenZ Ultimate (based on .230) for my ZR.
I asked niaboc79 (the dev) if I can upload my port of his ROM and he doesn't want. Yes he sucks but I can't do anything if he is stupid...

First of all, every custom rom (based on custom kernel) requires an unlocked bootloader and as the bootloader unlock breaks the camera that functionality will be lost in each and every custom rom until Sony fixes the issue.

monxDIFIED has been one of my fav's since Xperia Z
Bump, same question as topic.
My wifes z1c has camera and battery issues, i need a rom that just works, no bells or wistless, just that it works, all of it. Besides that, battery is the second most important thing.
Any advice on ROM, kernel, mods etc?

u can try CM 12 , the nighties are pretty stable (except minor bugs like auto brightness).
U have to unlock ur bootloader fr this (Remember to take a back up of TA partition before playing with bootloader)

If you don't want to unlock your bootloader, follow my link below for a stable custom rom runs at .157. It's my favorite ROM of all and i also included in beta testing so i rest assure its a good ROM
i've an unlocked Bootloader ! running under IHackers 6.2 (kitkat) and everything work just fine ! battery is realy good & have stock camera !
hoping that they develope a Lolipop Rom !

For kitkat, id recommend iHackers,
For lollipop i recommend rockZ1L,
For costum ROM, i recommend ressurection remix, ive tried it and its pretty stable for daily use.

I recommend iHackers. Bug free and stable release. No issue atall for the camera.

X8" in my signature. Those are all the ROMs for the Xperia X8. There are only 2 Kitkat ROMs and both of them have bugs.

BTW Jellybean runs pretty well on this phone with zero bugs...

I use JB Mini Project with 2.6.32.62-XPerience-KK04 Kernel. This ROM isn't the best when it comes down to speed but it is when you are looking to get a lot of cool features.

Unfortunately I do. I have a jbmini rom running now, and I've had tons of other roms flashed before this. What I do know: is that Browser crashes constantly it's barely usable, installing any apps like facebook is suicide the phone wil reboot the apps will crash etc etc
The only reason I still have JB on this phone is because I'm perfectly happy with my Galaxy S5 :good:

I have the same ROM (and with 2.6.32.62-XPerience-KK04 Kernel) and its works fine with Facebook Messanger and Whatsapp Installed(No random reboots). Why would you even used the stock browser with a lot of other better option out there, I use Opera Mini. And as I said before, there are other JB ROMs if what you want is speed.

I have problem with Xperia Z. I mean when i update from Android 4.1.2 to 4.4.2 i have lags in settings when i scrolling in kitkat. This is stock and original ROM.
Anybody know how can fix that without root phone etc ?

If you had read before you'd been aware of that problem. Activate the developer options and enable gpu rendering.

I have a problem with all 4.4.4 roms. The work fine a few hours, but then touchscreen becomes not sensitive and I need to restart the phone to fix it. I also use miui v6 theme and when I load a game and exit the wallpaper changes to the first one the phone booted with.

Every rom have some bugs. Both PAC and slimkat are good for daily use. I'm using pac rc-2 for a while and It's perfect for me[gaming, chat...], battery life, perfomance, features as perfect as we can get from our xsp. I think
