Sometimes overlapping tone.
It won't stop.
I can't find a thing running that has notifications turned on.
Any ideas?

That seems to do the trick, but then aren't I missing out on that feature? Say if I'm in the shower?
Kind of sad that's the only place left to get away from the leash... before I retired I bought a lake house that got no pager (remember those? ) or cell service just to get away.

When I press on the back button, or when I long-click on the home button, my phone doesn't vibrate anymore. I have vibration enabled in settings. Is anyone else having this issue?

Does it still vibrate when you receive a call or a text message?

Was your battery low? This phone automatically does power saving mode after 20% I believe.
My battery wasn't low. My phone vibrates when called. This is very strange. Any other solutions?

Are you sure that hectic feedback is still checked in settings-device-sound under screen lock sound
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes, it was always checked. Something funny just happened. I was browsing through settings - not the sound settings - and suddenly noticed the vibration is back.

You seem to be having a huge number of problems. I haven't seen anyone else post this many problems. Maybe starting over from an original unrooted mi9 might correct all of your problems. Not trying to offend. Just making an observation. Good luck.

After charging your phone doesn't automatically turn off Power Saving mode. Pull down the drawer and make sure it isn't checked.
Lost vibration again. This is very frustrating. Does anyone know what's going on?

I noticed that my power saving mode was on, which disabled the vibration. I disabled the power saving mode and the vibration is back.

Same thing was happening to me. Fixed now. Thanks!

You guys find the solution ! That is right, just a setting problem - power saving mode should be disabled. Then, my phone vibrating function is normal, thanks!:good:
Can someone familiar with Tasker take a look at the attached picture and see what's wrong with my settings?
So I wanna make a profile which turns off mobile data when screen off, then wait ten mins and enable data for 30 secs and then turn data off again. This should repeat forever when my screen is off. Thanks to anyone that helps
I'm using Event - Display Off as a profile. (Highest priority)

What is the problem? Check logcat? 30secs. Mobile on seems like a short time? If its counting from on (and not conected?)
PS. Dont know tasker..

The problem is that my 3G doesn't turn off after it has completed all the tasks from the picture (except the last "mobile data off" setting). I got what I wanted by using 3G Manager PRO, but wanted to do it all in one app as I have some other Tasker profiles.
Oh well. Guess I'll just settle with having one more process eating up my RAM

Maybe try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tni.KeepScreenLite&hl=en
Put it for phone app, not sure if it works 100% for that.
No i want a dialer where you have an option to disable proximity sensor.

Randomly my phone will make a sound that is not my notification sound. It seems to happen when the screen is off and I pick it up and it's very random. It's like dooooodiloop

Stock or custom ROM?
Just figured out that it was a card in my wallet that was triggering the NFC to make it's noise..
