Device Xperia Z C6602, lost IMEI due to which when the device powered on and reaches the home-screen it freezes and goes to auto repair mode and continuous restart loop starts. Tried Sony Repair service from PC Companion but didn't worked. Local Sony Service Center don't know to fix this issue. Please help.

Try to find right ftf file for C6602 and reflash it via Flashtool. Do a clean install. But if they in service center couldn't fix this via Emma there's no much hope to fix this problem, if it's still in warranty they need to change your motherboard.

Tried But Its The Same

When Flashed with Official ftf it then goes to repair mode and the auto reboot loop starts.

When Flashed with Official ftf it then goes to repair mode and the auto reboot loop starts. Although custom ROMs like Cyanogenmod is stable but IMEI is still missing.

What have you done before this problem appeared? How old is the phone? Did you buy it new or used?

Dude,
My C6603 has the same problem,
I have tried almost everything to fix it.
Have you backed up the TA partition,if so then try restoring it.
But you may need a new motherboard.
So,if you find any fix for this, plz pm me about it!

Whats frong with my x8

When i start up my x8 it stuck on sony ericcson and i can't go in the flashmode and i can't go to xRecovery.
Whats frong with your grammar?
Thare is only one solution here... Pc companion and Update to Orginal SE's Eclair....
True that! If you can't boot into recovery then you're screwed up. Reinstall stock firmware via SEUS or PCC. If those fail, try flashtool.
How can i do it? i cant go in xrecovery, my phone don't startup. All i see is Sony Ericcson
But were is the repair button in PC companion? I can see only support zone online and phone software update.

You should use the Phone Software Update.
Then you follow the steps they say and it will put your phone with the last 2.1 update.
It should fix your problem, because the phone will be like new.
Thanks guys! I was mad it someway
You said that you can't go to flash mode . Next time please say that you can access it, because with flash mode u can go update your phone via SEUS.

[LT30p] [SOLVED] Boot loop after downgrading with flashtool

Unsatisfied by the JB update of my xperia T, I downloaded flashtool and the ftf file to revert to ICS.
Procedure apparently went good, but at the restart the phone is looping on boot: I see 'sony', then 'xperia', then the animation starts but after a little it restarts again and again.
Probably my fault was to leave the 'wipe data' option unchecked.
How can I fix? I can't unplug the battery so I'm not able to go to flash mode and try again...

Press and hold the volume up and power button together
After 10 seconds it will vibrate.
Keep holding it untill it vibrates another 3 times.
Then enter flashmode and flash it properly this time

Even my Xperia T is in booloop.... I flashed many times, many kernels but none are working. It shows Sony logo (not even showing
xperia). It stays the same in every rom. The phone was purchased from UK... Any help would be appreciated...

If you have not unlocked the bootloader then just repair the phone using pccompanion.
What exactly have you flashed? Have you rooted? have you unlocked the bootloader?

After the phone went into boot loop, i unlocked the bootloader. then i tried SE tool Emma to downgrade to ICS, tried your kernel as well as more 2-3 kernels in combinations but nothing worked. I used flash tool and flashed several ICS and JB ftfs custom as well as modded but none worked yet.... It's still the same, reboots after the logo... In older ICS, it reboots after Xperia screen while in other FW, it reboots just after the sony logo...
Is this enough information to figure out the problem? What is the right comibnation of kernel and FW to start this phone ? It was purchased in UK and came with ICS....It was upgraded to JB without any problem and one day it just went into boot loop surprisingly....
Thank you for your time...
Search for the relock bootloader ftf in the dev section.

Did as you said. Flashed the relocked bootloader through flashtool (not emma)... Used the PC companion and did a "recover" procedure...At the end it said "Xperia T was updated with 9.1.A.1.140"
The problem is still the same. It restarts after the sony logo....
What is the next procedure to try ?
Thanks for the help...

That's is not good. After a pccompanion repair everything should be fine.
what was the last thing you flashed before the problem started?

Flashed nothing... Before the problem....the phone was updated to JB..It worked for 2 months and then suddenly one day, it freezes, when restarted ,it went into boot loop. That's what bugging me. The flash mode works fine, the quickboot works fine..i can flash any files without any problem, but with any rom or default FW, it restarts after the logo, so i wanna know the possibilities of the problem...
Is there any way with which i can fully format the internal drive and then flash the FW ? Is there a possibly of corrupt internal drive ?
I have had the same Problem, even with repair function of PCC. Only thing working for me was flashing original JB tft with flash tool. After that it bootet up normaly and everything was working again. (Bootloop stayed with ics tft, only jb tft worked)
I flashed jb tft->bootloader relock->jb tft

I used flashtool but i flashed the wrong ftf file. now my device will not boot up past the Sony logo screen and it keeps restarting it and each time it only gets to the sony screen. I have tried to flash a different ftf file and the phone connects to flashtool but when it is going to start flashing the device switches on and thus is dissconnected from flashtool. it is the c6603 version and it is rooted but not bootloader unlocked. any suggestions?

If you hold power button alongside volume up until the device vibrates, it should turn the phone off. Now it won't reboot anymore, and you'll be able to boot in flashmode.

This forum is for Xperia Z, not Z Ultra
Anyways, you'll need to give us some more information. Did you flash your divece? Is it rooted? Which software are you using etc.
If your bootloader is still locked you could try to repair your phone using Sony PC Companion.
If not please report back.

Soft brick ??!!

hey guys,
I think my phone is bricked . I was trying to install a second rom with the help of Mithun's Rom Switcher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425946) and when I tried to flash it it said no errors BUT when it shutdown the device didn't boot at all.
th thing that DON'T WORK is my display and my LED(it has to become purple before entering recovery), I already tried to connect the phone with flashtool doesn't see my device
the things THAT work are the LED(when I put in charger), hard reset with vibration(power + vol up 10sec) and hard shutdown with vibration(power + vol up 15sec)
please help me get any rom/recovery back
For the record I have a LTE version Xperia Z (C6603)

Try SUS. You might lose everything but at least your phone will work.
Whoever said it can't rain all the time never went to England.

[Q] Help! Did I screw up flashing my phone?

I have an Xperia Z1 C6903.
After updating to kitkat, I was disgusted by the new battery life, so looked up how to flash my phone back to jellybean.
I followed a guide I cannot link to in my first ten posts:
xperiafirmware.com/8-firmware/42-sony-xperia-z1-c6903
(Number 2 - flashing to 4.3).
I used the FTT linked there and the flashpro linked there.
Ran fine, here is the log: dropbox.com/s/13883t74e20b61k/flashtool_2014-04-14_06-25-39.log
After completion, I unplugged, booted phone, and now it is stuck in a reboot cycle. Seems to crash during the flare animation screen.
Please help! I've stopped the reboot cycle by running it in flash mode, then disconnecting it from the PC. As soon as I turn it on, the cycle begins again.

Thank you, this has made the phone functional again. Unfortunately lost messages and such, but not too bad...
I guess I'll run with kitkat a while to see if the battery issue has resolved. If it hasn't, is there a better flash file I can use, or a safer method of going back to jellybean?
