Black screen

Sometimes when I open an app or close it or do something similar my screen turns black. It has a backlight on but its a black screen. I can only solve this by locking the phone and then unlocking it again. Also sometimes when I try and install an app from the market, my screen goes black and it reboots from the Xperia logo.
Any ideas, btw my phone is rooted correctly so that is not causing the problems

best way to solve these kindda problem is repair by PCC or SUS

[Q] Screen goes black when watching movies

Since .245 my screen goes black when watching movies. Screen doesn't time out but just goes black. As soon as I touch the screen the video comes back.
Already reinstalled ROM but problem stays.
Tried different video players but no difference.
Tried screen forced on apps but doesn't work since screen doesn't time out but just goes black.
Any ideas?

Same issue. But in my case.. the Front Camera is also affected.

Just checked and same here with the front camera. Annoying!

Did you use the pre-rooted kernel from Alivanov?
AFAIK, there was a fix released for the same

Not me. Just stock kernel and tried multiple roms including stock (deodexed)

Make hw overlays off. Me I had the same problem and by me is gpu on. It's work but must make after every reboot

Lag on Xperia SP C5303

My Xperia SP is having lags while navigating, web browsing and is significantly slower than 4.1.2, having only 7000 points on quadrant compared to 7900 on 4.1.2. When i lock the screen when it is lagging, the screen does not come back on. Help?

Download & flash Central Europe region ftf via Flashtool.

Factory Reset first before reflashing. If this does not help a reflash with either flashtool or SUS will help.

This is a bug in sonys rom itself, it happens to me alot, I have to force reset the device in order for it to boot again normally, try not to multi task as much as it happens then

fresh flashing via flashtool may help you man...

I have tried repairing, flashing ftf, resting, hard resetting. All didnt work. But after i repaired which was ny last option, things started to improve. Now the only problem i have is the touch screen issue while charging :'(. I have replace the phone once due to a dead pixel and do not wish to do so again. Thanks for all your help about the lag but can you guys help me again? Thanks

Hi xda'ses

Now that I have Xz and xz 1
I updated my Xz yesterday to 4,4,2 and discovered that, the Chrome in my Xz1 don't have a home butten beside the searchbar
But in my Xz have it after update to 4,4,2 despite it's the same version ( chrome)
And my question is, is it a bug xz1 or can it be changed in some way with out root

I don't know but on my Z1 I missing the home button too. It will be nice to have it, vary useful. Maybe a solution come soon from somebody who know how to do it.

Xperia Z1 C6902 Touch Problem

Sometimes When I Use My Phone,The Touch Functionality Is Disabled And My Phone's Touch does not work until i restart it twice,Im On RockZ1 Rom Unlocked Bootloader,and Btw i change my screen Couple Weeks Ago,So whats the issue Hers?

Check those display flex cable connectors.

you could try going to stock rom again too see if it because your screen or the rom

I got back to stock rom but the problem was not fixed,i will get it back to repair
