How can I connect my iPhone to watch this case?
Color ID only works ?
Is there a way to enable iPhone Notifications on your Galaxy Gear SMV700 ?

I don't think it's possible to connect an ANDROID smartwatch to an IOS apple phone.
Have a look through this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2578416
Something to note:
1. your iphone needs to be jailbroken, if your phone cannot be jailbroken or if you have no idea what I am talking then you have to stop here.
2. you will need to down grade you gear to android 4.2.2, search on this forum, there is a thread on this. Then flash null rom according to the instructions both in the thread above, as well as in the null rom thread here on this forum.
3. most importantly, make sure you read and understand what you are getting into. Just like many of the other things on this forum, it is a work in progress.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the help you
According to your post in the thread that I did have a question for you.
My iphone is jailbreak IOS 7.1.1
Gear Android first time back, right?
What should i do next? I did not realize the next stage!
I appreciate all your help. I'm a newbie
As you indicated that your gear is on Tizen, use info from this thread to downgrade to android:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2776157
After that then follow this thread to flash null rom on your gear:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2562997
then you can follow the instruction on the gear connecting to iphone thread I posted earlier. Sorry I do not have an iphone so I am not sure how much help I can be, hence i asked you to read and understand everything in that thread before doing anything. But if you still have questions, don't hesitate to post them here, I am sure others who have an iphone may help.
Other friends have no idea?
I really want to take full advantage of this My Galaxy Gear with my iPhone 5s .

Nope, the only options have been named already.
But there's one more: Get yourself a Samsung Galaxy phone, starting with Samsung Galaxy 3.
I have mine working with my LG G3. You need to find a way to sideload the Gearmanagerstub.apk, change the permissions to rw-r-r, then install the Gearmanager.APK Version 2.1, set the permissions the same, then install. Open Gear manager, install all the files it wants to install, and follow instructions on how to sync the gear. I haven't ever done an iPhone, but that is how you will get all the notifications.

I understand you haven't done an iPhone so you don't know. Let me teach you this. Android applications won't install on ios devices. And vice versa. An app dev has to recode the app entirely.

Okay, so I'm running X-note (on the latest RED Saber Kernel) on my (Canadian Variant) SM-N900W8 and my Gear worked just fine, until about 10 mins ago when the Samsung App store told me there was an update, I updated and now it's saying my phone is not compatible with the Gear... which is impossible....
Attached is a screen shot of the message I get when I open up Gear Manager to connect my watch.
Does anyone else have this problem???

I got this same message after I completed the update. I reset the gear and still got this same message. Finally I uninstalled Gear Manager and redownloaded a full install of the updated Gear manager. This worked.
I think the new gear manager is comoatible with devices on 4.3 not too sure... I have a GS4 and could access the app but with the new update it shows the same pop up msg... Revert back to the previous version...

There is another thread, where is same message mentioned, look for "cannot connect rooted devices" or so. Anyway, can I ask you about battery life on Note III with Gear connected? I using X-Note too with stock kernel and its very poor. And I have prevous version of Gear Manager.

What version of gear manager are you referring to? I'm running 1.4 on 4.3 (PACman which is AOSP, CM, Paranoid Android). I have a few issues both nothing major. Pairing was tricky but it worked once I figured out the dependencies and tricks.

Correct. Also no Weather or SVoice. I'm guessing that they are relying on resources from their own framework.
As much as I like this thing, I think I'm going to have to return it out of principle. They're trying to drive sales of specific devices with this approach and that's an Apple thing to do; not in the spirit of Android and I don't want the device enough to allow that kind of behavior. Anyway, this will likely just prompt a competing company to release an even better piece of hardware that won't pull such a stunt with the software and I'd rather put my resources there.
Same for me using x-note firmware

This is a generic question to Galaxy Gear users...
I have an app on my phone called 'Sleep as Android' that measures my sleep. It currently integrates with Pebble for better accuracy than laying your phone near you while you sleep.
A user posed a question to the developer of 'Sleep as Android' about developing the app to work with Galaxy Gear.
The response from the developer was that perhaps 'Sleep as Android' could be side loaded onto Galaxy Gear directly.
Has anyone here used 'Sleep as Android'?
Has anyone attempted to load this app directly to their Galaxy Gear?
Does it even sound doable???
I am not really interested in a Pebble watch. Pebble has poor reviews and does not appear to be even remotely appealing to me.
On the other hand, Galaxy Gear is something that I could see my self wearing and using.

I went ahead and gave it a try just for you!
I wasn't able to install it directly on the gear via the play store. Some error, so I side-loaded it by installing it on my phone first and using titanium backup's "send latest backup" feature. (you'll need titanium on your Gear as well to restore the backup)
Opens right up and appears to be running smoothly. Maybe I'll give it a go for some sleep tracking. Got a 14 day trial.
Oh, I'm using NULL_ ROM.
I guess you could side-load it using one of the other methods if you don't want to flash. (I've no clue about that stuff, however)
--update
The user interface is kinda tight on the tiny screen, but I haven't had any problems clicking on anything yet!

Dude, you are awesome(x2!).
If you use it during sleep, let me know how it does....
Am sure the sleeping/noise(snoring) graphs and stuff may be hard to read on such a small screen though.
There is an add-on to upload to cloud. I guess I could use THAT to see the graph details, etc..
Yea, I would be curious how this works myself. I suppose since the Gear has motion sensor, it should work for tracking sleep. The only concern I would have is battery drain. I know the app even warns of that and when I used to use this on my old Droid Razr Maxx, I would have it connected to the wall and stretched to the bed whilst on charge. Can't really do that with the goofy arse cradle system the gear has and still wear it. :silly:

Since it's meant to be ran on a phone laying next to you, you could just leave it cradled up next to you. I couldn't sleep with a watch on, anyway. End up rolling over and smacking my wife with it or something... Speaking of that, I wonder if it accommodates for two people in the same bed. Haven't really had a chance to play with it.

nothing at all on the web about this thing; let us know how it is when you get it...
normally I would avoid something like this at all costs, since there is nothing anywhere about it, but buying it through Amazon is about as safe as it gets, so you should be ok even if it is bogus..

I'll admit I was pretty interested in this when I saw it. So I watched the video and it looks pretty good, really in depth actually so when he skips over anything to do with the dialer
or doesn't bother to show it in action either from the watch dialing or receiving a call I got pretty skeptical. Then the specs listed on the website and in the video state 4GB of storage (like the GEAR) but he then states it only has 1.16gb available? While scrolling thru the settings you clearly see it says 2GB of storage. One cool thing was remote Bluetooth access to the watches camera or the phones camera thru the other device i.e. you can look at the phones screen and see what the watch camera sees. I'd love to hear your experience when you get it. Thanks, good luck!

well like i said my friend has this watch so i already have used it . its in every way like the gear yes the res of the screen on the gear is better (not much better but still it is )but were talking a $350 watch vs a $100 watch the clone is just a fast and smooth to slide threw apps as the gear but the clone is easly pared to any phone and can phone apps this watch is running full android jellybean 4.2.2 so even if i had the gear i would still use this watch but when i get this watch in next week i make my own video to demo it ok peoples

I'm pretty stoked about this watch, especially coming from moto actv. I plan to root and make it my own I'll keep it up to date.

ya its a nice watch but it has flaws
1 military time only (unless u use the analog clock)
2 watch doesnt always answer phone calls even tho it says your swipe answered it phone still keeps ringing
3 watch dies very very fast with normal use you need to charge twice a day
4 has gps yes can you use it NO!
5 play store app crashs phone everytime
6 skype fully works with onboard cam but once installed skype with make the contacts app in the watch break untill skype is uninstalled
7 can only turn watch on and off with a very frangile button so within a year it will be so warn out so hopfully some one roots and makes a kernel so we can knock on and off on the watch
2 words G Watch!!!!!
Why do I keep getting this message whenever I open up Gear Manager? The Gear is connected via Bluetooth and paired fine. I even installed about 2 apps. I have tried rebooting both the gear and my phone and it worked once but started doing it a few minutes later. It has taken me 4 hours just to get the gear paired with my Note 2 on Nebula
2.3....but I keep seeing thus message. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

hi,which is your gear manager version? The latest is "2.1.14062401" perhaps you have to update yours...
I finally got it to work but I had to flash the Poland NE9 firmware. It was the only one that would connect to Gear Manager. I had tried several versions of Gear Manager including the most recent from the Samsung Store. I am afraid to update to NF1 because of all the issues I had

Hi,
I have 2 galaxy watch 3 devices (my wife and me), one paired with note9 the other one with A50.
I've noticed that the one paired with A50 does not have "camera controller" app (the one included free - Samsung app) and it cannot be found in galaxy store.
Ive tried another app (partly free) in store and it works with A50, so I don't understand where is the problem, because my watch has the app and I'm able to find it in store.
Anyway, how could I get the app from my watch (paired with note9) to send it to my wife's watch?
Both watches are LTE, same model SM-R845F.
Or maybe there is any "repository" where I could download the camera controller app?
Thank you

Nevertheless, I grabbed the wgt and created an apk to push to the watch, not sure if it would work but only you can tell, I tested it on my phone and watch...
CameraController installer:
Google Drive - TPKs/WGTs - Camera Controller Installer
Install the apk on the phone that you want the watch to have the camera controller...
Thank you for your effort an sorry for late reply,
Unfortunately it gives the message to update the firmware on my note9, and I do not want to update as I do not want to loose the call recording capabilities.
Found a third party app in galaxy store that is working, even the free version, One Camera.
Thank you,

Sadly, tpks/wgts are unmoddable, the things you can change are limited, and shm mainly depended on the phone app, hence it was easier to play with
I have the S22 ultra, and the Watch 5 pro, and this app doesn't work, and I can't install it from the official store, it says my watch is not compatible lol.
