SuperSU 1.65

Hey guys, after searching on xda without finding a answer I've got a question about SuperSU version 1.65.
Under the actual TWRP I am not able to install the SuperSU-zip, it says "unable to read zip". I downloaded it three times from the chainfire-thread to prevent a failure in the file.
Does anyone else have this problem and has probably a solution?

install it via the Play Store

I tried this first, but under Android 4.3 it isn't possible to update the binary from within the app. The only way is to install it via recovery. But as I mentioned this doesn't work for me for an unknown reason.

I can flash it fine from CWM, but when I boot up, SuperSU claims that there is no su binary and that it cannot fix it. I'm running latest stock GE rom.

I think the problem is not SuperSU itself...
I flashed Android Revolution HD 22.0 and the latest firmware. Could this be the problem? I would ask this directly in the ARHD-thread but I can't write in it, because it's a development-thread

Finally I solved it.
The failure was to download the file via the smartphone. Now I downloaded it with my notebook and everything is fine.

latest version of xposed is currently not active did u install the framework and reboot?
i already root with CM 10 and install then reboot
but it says not active

So try different install. You also can flash in recovery...

[Q] Internal SD Card to unmounted.. Need FIx

Hello everyone,
I have a bit of a situation here.
The problem is, I can't access the internal storage of my phone (but I can install apps).
My phone is a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 and runs the Custom rom DU_n7000_4.4.4 V7.9
This happened while i was flashing a new ROM.
Things I tried:
1. Re Flashing new rom (No LucK)
2. Rebooting phone
Please help.
I did some research and i could find post that are pretty old. Please help me out in resolving this issue.

Busybox

Hello
I tried to install BusyBox in my Huawei p7 but I could not
I got this message
it looks like the installation of busybox was not successful try installing to a different location
I changed the location but same problem
Please help me

for busybox you need to be rooted..
search around the forum on how to root the ascend p7..

Is there any other solution or any other method to root p7 without pc? I want to root it again

puh,
i dont know if there is a way to root without pc..
(i wouldnt do it without pc)..
maybe there are ways to do it (also use search to find)..

you can root without a pc with twrp recovery and downloading supersu (flashable) package https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/stable-2016-09-01supersu-v2-78-release-t3452703
p.s. have you also deled set_immutable.list file for a proper working root?

magisk

hey guys i want to root my sumsung galaxy j5 2017 with magisk but to root with magisk you need to install a custom recovery(TWRP)but to install twrp you need an rooted device. i wanted to ask with wich method is better to root my device before rooting with magisk?

You don't need a custom recovery if you patch your boot image.
Also on most devices you don't need root for a custom recovery - just an unlooked bootloader.
