LCD Density

Does anyone else get this problem when changing the LCD density to anything lower than normal? I can't figure out how to fix

No way to fix it that I know of, other than uninstalling LCD density. I found it screwed up my lockscreen, too. This app doesn't actually increase resolution, so I find its usefulness very shallow.

Widget locker can fix your lock screen if interested

I can't say that I have that same problem, and I have my density set to 200. But I did find that other people had this problem and recommended downloading the "spare parts" app and unchecking "compatibility mode". I did that before I even downloaded LCD density so I can't say if that will fix it or not, but I never had that problem so it might.

What app did you use to change it, the free one from market? I did mine manually so maybe that's why its not working. But that did fix my apps that were not filling the screen, thanks

Yes, I used "LCDDensity for Root". It works perfectly!

Chromecast symbol on yourube

Is anybody having an issue where YouTube shows the chromecast symbol overlaid on the video your trying to watch? It always happens when I'm connected to Bluetooth or have been connected to Bluetooth. I have to force stop the app when it happens.

I get it on 6 devices, N7, N5, N4, GNex, Note, and Moto X, super annoying and Google needs to fix it.

I posted the same question earlier without a picture (BTW nice pic) and yes it sucks. It happens when I go from portrait to landscape mode and then never goes away from there until you reboot. I sent YouTube a note stating my frustration with this. I understand that it only happens in bluetooth mode but i hope there is a fix for this soon. Very upset

It only happens to me when using Bluetooth. If I turn off Bluetooth and reboot my phone ,all is good

Yes I get this when I'm connected to a bluetooth music streaming device. It's very annoying, I've sent Google 6 feedback emails about fixing it.
It should just be an option in the overflow menu.

Just download and install. First time you send a message with it, it will ask if you want to set as default. This has some nice improvements over stock.

Yea I just set it as the default app when it asked. It received the picture but it said the download failed when I tried to download it said downloading forever.

I uninstalled it. The material design is nice but it bothered me that I had to keep the stock message app also. I had the stock app hidden with xposed GEL settings but it was still bothering me. I also uninstalled the Lollipop Gmail app and is now solely running Inbox for email. My fascination with Lollipop has come to an end. Lol

Unfortunately, as Caseyk621 mentioned above, the only way I was able to get the app not to FC was to leave the stock app in there. Maybe something to do with the ROM as it is a hit and miss for lollipop apps at this point and the ways to get the apps to work are different for everyone. As an example, I have not found a way to make the lollipop calendar app to work and I've tried every way imaginable. So, at this point I am over it, back to stability and functionality for me. The rest of the eye candy will come later. Inbox is pretty cool though and is now my daily driver. The new Play Music app is awesome and the new Google Now launcher ties everything together nicely.

i had something similar,
For me it was either Hi Locker lockscreen or/ Omni Swipe alternatively Locker Master apps..( same app developers) . If you select speed, it should clear Ram etc.
I switch option off in the app, but again top right corner 3 dot, i also had to switch it off, again. Every now and then it might appear.
(To me, it's a type of "spam" service)

I think thats "go launcher z" fast charging feature but you can disable it in the launcher settings

Enter Pin Without Pressing OK No longer an option after recently updating phone

Hello, i have the Note 9 512g variant through Verizon and i recently updated the firmware/security. The option to enter pin without pressing OK no longer seems to appear in the lock screen and security area of the settings. Has this been moved or taken out? It was in Settings-->Lock Screen --> Screen Lock Type-->PIN. Now i no longer see it. Any help would be great thanks.

I'm on Verizon but i didn't have this issue until the most recent update. Is there a way to clear the cache or data like i would a regular app but for Biometrics and pin?

Not that i know of, i guess you could look for the lock screen app or just clear all of them manually
