There is apk for cm based roms, but it not working on aosp roms like mahdi,slimkat,paranoid..

On my Nexus One, it was one of the best ROM's, next to New Sense, and i was wondering if anyone is working on a port. Cyanogenmod has been ported, why not MIUI?
Cyanogenmod hasn't been ported yet, otherwise I'd have a boner.
I've used a couple of CM based roms and have since moved to the Oxygen rom. The thing I miss most in the Oxygen rom is the rotary lock/unlock.
Anyone knows if there is some apk file that can be taken from one of the CM based roms and inserted into the oxygen rom to get this feature?

Some modifications made to the stock samsung rom makes it impossible to me to switch to AOSP roms, but I really would like to get rid of the touchwiz interface!
Are there any custom roms based on the Stock rom that has a ui similar to AOSP?

AOSP based and cm based ROMs haven't been stable as of now,it doesn't mean it lessens affort of developers like akhil or varun but we need stock based ROMs in the meantime if you see nexus 5 forum there you have "catacalysm"

It is essentially a stock rom modified with some gravitybox like features .It even supports RRO layERS. I am not a dev by any mean don't have computer to try out these things but we have well more than capable developers who could develop such ROMs quite easily.What do you think is it worth it?
