For going back to stock download firmware for you phone model I9070/I9070P (if you miss it it will hardbrick the device) from sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com and use this guide to flash it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1985398
I am not sure if Omni support Video call.

works very well.
my question is there a way to enable phone calling with any of the ics builds??
basically i want my original tab(p1000)to run any version of ics and still allow
phone capabilities.
possible?
i am not scared to use odin
thanks
all the ICS build now (CM9 and AOKP) support calling.
is there a thread that i can read up on this?
all i can find are the original threads with the euro rom and bell modem.
nothing newer about ics.
thanks
and thanks given
ICS is not stable yet. Various functions are not working or partially working.
Why not try Overcome 4.1 ROM. It is Gingerbread based and very close to Samsung stock. Very popular ROM.
There is a thread in Dev section.
Hi
Long time observer & admire you guy here on what you do, this website has helped alot but now i finally have a question.
With Paranoid Droid v0.2 i have followed Dr.Ketan's guide to downgrade & then root/install cwm & then update back to 2.3.6 via ODIN Mobile, the root is cf-root on a Galaxy Note, can i flash this rom with what i have currently?
Thanks in advance.
You are on rooted Gb and yes you can flash it safely. Wipe data and cache and flash the rom ...then flash the gapps. All done
I assume i flash it with ODIN Mobile & not from CWM?
I think i got it (it installed all fine etc) via CWM.

The S-pen apps will not work in this rom.
Thanks for the info, but i have now gone back to official firmware, so i assume only roms tweaked from the original source will have the feature set still? even so it was also missing the built in FM Radio app to listen to local radio without needing to stream it.
On a side note, whats the deal i been hearing with Touchwiz 5.0 some people say its on the Note others same its 4.0. Which version is it & what is the differences?
Lost (the excellent) Call Recorder (app) when I upgraded to JB. It worked perfectly on the stock un-rooted ICS. After upgrading it displays a message "need root access" and does not record. So, just bevare.
HAs anybody succeded to get Call Recorder to work non-rooted on JB?
My device is encrypted, so I have som digg a bit to find out if I can root and then encrypt. My preliminary findings is that it should be ok. Root then encrypt - not possible the other way around. Probably can't upgrade without wipe after root and FDE, but not sure about this.
BTW, is there any Call Recorder which works on JB?
Maybe change some lib's from ICS to JB? Or are there any JB-ROMs out there which allow call recording?
Hello!
Maybe somebody got back to 4.0.4 ?
I really need 2-way call recording.:crying:
Best regards.
Call Recorder on rooted JB
Yes, could someone roorted please check if CallRecorder works on JB (two way recording).
And if it is possible to encrypt the device on a rooted phone (gues it is).

CallRecorder doesn't work on Omar Avelar's ROM, MP3 call recorder works but with really poor quality. MP3 Call recorder doesn't require root.
Have you tried another recording method in CallRecorder? Kernel etc? Think there are two that require root.

Has anyone tested: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grinzone.incallrecorder on JB ?
I'm holding the upgrade to JB because I need my call recorder
Doesn't work on JB 4.1.2
Tested both "phone line" and "microphone"...
guys please help me out here .. i v been trying 6 hours by now to find the right rom version for my device and i couldn't make it... i would like to install 4.4.4 kitkat is that possible ? if yes is it rootable after intalling ? can you send me please easy way to download it without any survers !!! thank you in advance !
and btw since i am posting on gt-i9305 yes i do own one of them
i manage to install that rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development-i9305/rom-amcha-rom-kk-simply-cust-t2898961
but my camera wont work ... there is an explanation here
If your camera doesn't work primary follow this (thanks @Hbohd and @P$T), if you don't have incriminated file flash again Rom with Stock kernel - Wifi doesn't work with old bootloader, then take photo and short video, then flash again Rom without full wipe with kernel which you like. If your camera still doesn't work follow THIS or flash some Rom 4.1.2 (via Recovery or Odin) take picture, grab and backup incriminated files, then flash this Rom and put them to data/cwm. Don't forget backup your SlimISP_XX.bin for future. Problem with camera have average only cca 10 users JB 4.3 of 1000 usr..
but i can't understand it ... pls help me thank you !
Has anyone tried to go back to Android 4.4 after flashing lollipop 5.0?
I haven't been able to flash any Android 4.4 ROM after installing. Does anyone have any idea on how to do so?
Any help is truly appreciate.
Where did you get Lollipop from? Is there some sort of OTA that I'm unaware of? Do you have an SM-N910T or some other variant?
If you flashed a Lollipop ROM like CM or Liquid Smooth from the development section you should be able to Odin back to stock no problem. As far as I know there is no official Lollipop for the T-Mobile Note 4..

Is that true? There isn't an official lollipop release for us yet?

Yes. I installed Liquidsmooth from the development section. But Odin does not recognize my phone.
I have the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4.
BTW thanks for the rapid help!
Do a wipe in team win recovery. Cache, Dalvick cache, and data.
Then flash a 4.4.4 rom.
I've done it many many times, without issue
Ok. It seems like there was a issue with the phone's drivers. Now Odin recognizes my phone.
Now the question is: I have some android 4.4 Roms in my sdcard such as Infamous v8, DinamicKat etc. How do I flash one of them through Odin since I have not been able to do it through TWRP in recovery mode?
Thanks again for the help.
Can't flash those through Odin. You need to Odin back to stock, root, flash TWRP, then load a custom ROM.
You see anything good in LolliPop?
Well, the UI is different (doesn't mean better), I'm running Liquidsmooth beta. There are a ton of features missing on this ROM. That's the reason for why Im going black to kitkat 4.4

Flash in TWRP CM12 port you'll get the lolipop UI from it. Works great super smooth but audio randomly goes super loud. Other people running CM12 across other devices are having this issue too.
