Hi All,
Am looking for HTC Sense Keyboard to be used in my Mi3 but unable to find. I tried one from Google play but it didn't worked for some reason.
Can anybody extract and make it compatible to be used with Mi3 ?
That will be a great help as I really miss the sense input

well HTC keyboard is integrated in their Sense UI so it cannot be extracted and used here directly.
I know sense keyboard is great ,even I love it. however you can try A.I keyboard & Kii keyboard . these 2 have sense keyboard themes n almost similar to our sense keyboard. try it mate.
Can't help you with the Sense keyboard, but you can try this one if you want to

Just download the zip and flash
use swiftkey , no one can't beat it untill now , thats why it's always in top 10 paid apps on play store.

Hi all,
I've got a Rogers HTC Magic and I'm running Amon_RA's firmware, version 1.1.0.
Runs great, much smoother than the default Rogers firmware. Just missing one thing though...
Does anyone know where I can find the HTC dialer? Or maybe it's called the Phone application? I like the HTC phone application, but I want to stick with the ROM I have right now.

you mean the htc dialer in hero? u cant get that outside of hero, its deeply built into the core framework of the phone. people are trying to port it but its too tough since htc hero's core is closed sourced.
you can try apps like aContacts, which is skinnable and does simliar work liek the smart dialing from the htc dialer.
I had the htc dialer in the original HTC Magic rom. Norwegian phone, HTC branded. I miss the dialer too... Have tried acontact, and its crap in compare...

it needs htc framework to work so unless you start coding it aint gonna happen. i do agree its a pity though- this was the only thing i liked on my stock rom.

No, the HTC Dialer is found on non-Google Branded phones. I have an non-rooted Rogers HTC Magic and it definitely has smart dialer, it's not only on the HTC Hero.

it is also on Rogers, TIM etc. its not only on Hero.
It does depend on the HTC framework to run tho, like teeter etc.
I am on Cyanogen and miss the dialer too. Sill no good alternatives to the HTC dialer?

You can try Dialer One, or Youlu adress book.
Both have smart dialing.
I'm unsure if dialer can be porter to AOSP/CM..as sense apps require sense
I've tested many smart dialers like the Sense's one, but any of them is as good as this made by hTC. They're too slow, at least on Heroes

Yeah, the latest version of TouchPal is really nice. Much better than any of the alternatives I've tried.

Touchpal is awesome....but nothing beats the original sense UI.
Very good looking and fast on my Hero with CM7.
One thing that annoys me with external dialer apps is that when I miss a call it stays missed in the status bar even after I open it and return the call with Touchpal.
This problem is being fixed by opening the native "phone" app.
No searching for a solution on this one

The thing is, I always love to be latest on market and thanks to dev's we have working 4.2.2 Rom
I always flash 4.2.2 but later come back to sense for only some reasons..
1. Camera: IMO Sense Camera is Excellent Hands down. The Vanilla Android camera doesnt take good pics with HTC handset I would like yo ask the Vanilla android users which camera App they use that gives them Awesome Pics as Sense Cams do. Pls no compromise on qualiy
2. Keyboard: I am a big Fan of T9 Keyboard of HTC sense. I have tried Many other keyboards in T9 but nothin feels comfortable. I heard of a HTC_IME keyboard but not sure it works for 4.2.2 (keyboard is secondary issue though)
Please suggest the best for the above. It will be really helpful..
For the keyboard issue, try SwiftKey 4.0
Its great and it's got lots of great new features in version 4. Give it a go!

As it says, i have the physical keyboard case for the Note, whenever i use it, it changes to the default theme. Is there any work way around this to have other themes running instead of the default one ? I love the keyboard, takes me back to Nokia days, but having the functionality to change theme is important ! Please help guys
Also on another note (lol), can anyone confirm if multi boot is working ? I have seen the thread on here, but not sure if it works on the Canadian W8 model?
