I just test that and I'm very disappointed...
Floatify is ten times better.
You can't configure almost nothing here in peek...
Only thing that peek has and floatify don't is sensors reading and I don't need that (that will drain your battery very fast)
As I said :
I'm using floatify, it's great and it's cheaper than peek...

Use Gravity Box through Xposed for the lock screen notifications. Works great and just like Android L.

Yeap...it works.
It's working without any problems...
Sensors are also working (just like on smartwatches and moto x, when you take your phone from desk or pocket it'll turn on screen and show notifications.)

Don't know that...
I tested on "normal" unlock screen, without patern or pin.
When I swiped, peek ring showed and I could access notifications...
I would test patern for you but I had many problems to uninstall peek and really don't want to install that anymore

I've been trying to port the new style LG lockscreen (similar to that found in newer LG models such as P920 and P970) from Modaco Gr1 to Topogigi v2.0. Well, turns out no porting needs to be done as it is already in the ROM, just hidden. The new lockscreen is similar to the old one, with identical functionality, but looks a bit better in my opinion.
To enable it, make a nandroid/Titanium backup first then open build.prop (you'll need a file explorer with root privilege, or adb pull) and find this line:
Code:
user.feature.lock_andy=true
and modify it to:
Code:
user.feature.lock_sui=true
Reboot.
I'd post a screenshot but I don't know how to take a screenshot when the phone is locked. I will take a photo later.
Edit: Took a photo. As can be seen the wallpaper shows even while charging, instead of just pitch black.

Screenshot doesn't work when screen is locked here, you must do it through Adb.. There is a subtle difference when you Swype to unlock..
Thanks!
No it works atleast for me!
And while charging the phone I realised that the lockscreen shown here is the same as on my phone.

Yes, and I think it's supposed to bring you to the relevant app (missed call to call log, for example), but it just unlocks the phone and leaves you at the homescreen. Typical LG unfinished half-a$$ed-ness, I guess.
Wow, thank you. I hate that black screen while charching.
I think, complete stock framework, including some apps designs (like contacts, alarms, etc) is so fkin ugly
Also, that annoying 3g icon all the time and line 1 icon on my status bar.. grrrr

Hello guys!
I modified the deodexed Background Defocus app to make it installable on phones that aren't rooted.
Enjoy!
You might get an occasional UI bug but that's not fixable for now. App should still work fine and I've only encountered it once so far.
Just download and install like any APK:

EDIT: found another way, change resolution..

You do seem to have to choose your subject carefully, as it does fail a few times.

Try to make sure your subject is away from the background, and keep the camera steady.
This one took me 3 attempts
Cup is approximately 30cm from background, I was about 50 cm away.

Really? Is it that hard?
I took this with one attempt and worked perfectly.
The interesting finding is that if you use this mode to capture, the picture is much sharper and file is slightly bigger.

The trick is if you noticed, it takes two pictures. So you got to wait another second or two for that to complete.
Very cool. Sony Cyber-shot cameras have same (but with better quality) functional.
thx. a lot man!!!!

Can you do it for timeshift too, infoeye allready can be installed on non root device. Timeshift left.

I wish there was a way to have full album art on the Sense lockscreen like the aosp lock screen. Or to use the aosp lock screen with the answer/ignore ability on the lock screen. When you use the aosp screen with sense you have to unlock the phone to see who is calling. Anyone know a way to do this?

Yeah. You need to delete or change htclockscreen.apk to Htclockscreen.apk.bak. only downside is like I said Sense controls the phone so you can't answer from the aosp lockscreen. Wish there was a way to make it work.. Hence the reason for this thread lol

No not full screen on call. I was talking about full album art like on aosp when playing music. The music controls on aosp is sooooo much sexier IMO over that Sense widget.

oh. ok i gotcha now.
Well I guess HTC got their stuff together. Finally got home and installed the long over due update for NuiSense and disabled the htclockscreen. To my surprise, phone call functions work perfectly with aosp lockscreen! Yay!
The last time I tried was with Sense 5.5 and the phone functions wouldn't show on the aosp lock. You would have to unlock the screen to see who was calling and to answer or ignore.

I love this implementation in roms and and was wondering if there was any other rom other than cyanide that has it? I've been looking through changelogs but I can't spot it in any other....
Active Display is a Moto oonly feature. Is that really what you mean or do you mean "Ambient display" which is the google equivelant?
Pretty much all roms use ambient display and can be triggered my movement sensor (phone feels movement).

Read it entirely. Doesn't work in omni...just flashed it. Omni is bare bones and for some reason it doesn't work in it(if it has it)..
Cyanide-L rom active display doesn't have full implementation of the moto-x like screen on/wave over and notifications in the center but the wave over does work. It does show notifications as a list.
