Hi,
This is a bit of a long shot, but I've used this forum for over 2 years now and believe those that frequent these pages could help out.
I work for a small software development and consultancy company based in Chester, North West UK.
We have been looking for some time to employ an ASP.net or PHP developer. Primarily to work on projects developing web based applications.
The development environment and core skills require include: ASP.NET, ASP, PHP, C#, HTML, JavaScript, Java, SQL Server, IIS5 and 6, Windows 2000, XP and 2003.
Remuneration is very good, but more importantly you will be managing your own work time and getting involved with a small company from an early start that is rapidly growing.
Location: North West UK, ideally Chester. Will also consider further if necessary.
If anyone is interested, or knows or anyone that might be interested, please contact me (pm me or email to [email protected])
Thanks in advance
HPJ

The purpose of this forum is to allow developers of XDA to have a place to showcase their for-pay applications. While we maintain that XDA is a place of sharing and openness, we understand that there is a need for a place like this, since some "premium" pieces of software just cannot be given away for free.
This is not a marketplace. No buying or selling will happen here. If you are a developer, please provide links to your for-pay products. If you are a user, feel free to respectfully provide feedback to developers.
Because we don't want this to be haven for outside firms trying to use this forum as a sales tool, we will require that any developer posting here have a history of providing value to the community, either through free software, assistance/help to users, or other contribution.
Naturally, we might need to adjust the rules of this forum and institute policies to keep everyone happy. For now, we'll see what happens.
Happy posting!
Hey all,
I've been an XDA member for a little while now and love the work that comes out of here. This year I'm working with Mozilla and the Open Video Alliance to put on the 3rd annual Open Video Conference.
In addition to a lot of great open web and open source projects this year we are offering a Jailbreak Station. It will be a place where attendees can bring their iOS device, have it jailbroken and learn the benefits and risks of having a jailbroken device.
We're looking for volunteers who are hack savy and experienced to volunteer to operate this jailbreaking station.
Benefits of Volunteering:
1. Free OVC T-Shirt
2. Free food!
3. Complimentary registration
4. A chance to network (lots of great industry folks at this event)
5. Be a part of the team and help spread the word on open source, hacking and being a more informed consumer
Supporters of this year include New York Law School, Zencoder, Mozilla and we're pleased to announce that Google has recently joined as a supporter. Many, many more commercial and non-commercial companies/orgs will be represented here too.
We need you! If you're interested please PM me Mod edit: removed email
