Is it possible to port the built in wifi direct sharing option from Samsung stock devices to CM11 Roms??Can build a Xposed module for this?? i really want it so bad on my LwW..I do have WiFi-Direct but can't send files directly with the file manager..there is no option for WiFi-Direct.. its so annyoing to use third party apps like Super Beam..as its needs to be installed on both devices!!..so if its possible u can build it!! :fingers-crossed:

Xposed Framework for Gingerbread

I discountined the repo.xml for Xposed Framework for Gingerbread.
For myself, I use Xposed Framework Gingerbread for my old phone.
Now I use pixel, and use Brevent without Xposed Framework.

The back-ported xposed framework used a seperate repo.xml for the sdk.
I found many times my server hang up due to the parse of the module.
Now the repo.xml won't check any package outside of the official repo.
(as the size from rovo89's repo is limited to 8M)

I am using xperia x10 mini cm7 install xposed framework successfully ,apps (appsetting xprivacy xloud etc) also install succefully but they didnt work like in appsetting I enable fullscreen,etc didnt work.Enabled module in xposed installer, save the config I made reboot but didnt work

I've been using Xopsed for a long time on my ICS ROM's. Suddenly, I came to know about Xposed backported to gingerbread and i was thrilled!:laugh: So i installed my stock gingerbread ROM and decided to give Xposed a try. Everything worked well till version 2.4.1-gb and then I updated it to 2.5.1.
Unfortunately,after the update, the framework doesn't install correctly for me. I have attached a screenshot of the error. Please help me with this!

I have an issue, cant install the framework, i have no problems installing the XposedGB apk, but in the app, in "Framework" section i get "Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 10 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a). reloc Library (1346):2507 cannot locate 'dvmLogExceptionStackTrace'...cannot link executable." I tried with fix permissions, uninstalling-installing the app, but i have same error.
I already test with version 2.4.1 and 2.5.1, same results.
My device is a ZTE V795 with 2.3.6, mediatek 6572, 512 ram, dual core 1 ghz. it's compatible?

it seems that you installed a incompatible busybox...please make sure the busybox works, or just remove the installed one.

There is some guys reported this error.
Could you tell me the device name, and system information?
// android version, or not-android?
And if possible, could you tell me the rom address, so I can download it?
If not, could you compress /system/lib and /vendor/lib (if exists), then send it to me?

This may be an idiot question to ask, but here goes: how do I install the XposedBridge? I downloaded the .zip from GitHub, but don't know what to do with it. I tried flashing in CWM, but it says "Installation aborted". Couldn't find an .apk to install.

I downloaded the XposedAddition module and it requires XposedBridge to run.

Yeah, as you know the main exclusive feature of Xposed store is that it will automatically match and install a suited framework for your phone, almost available for all kinds of phone models.
And similarly considering the users from all over the world, we are working on the English version of this app. Once it's finished, I will add to this thread

As the Android ecosystem has matured over the years, fewer and fewer users find reasons why they should root their device. There’s a growing trend of users choosing to stay on the stock firmware, either because they find the experience satisfactory or don’t want to play a cat-and-mouse game with Google’s SafetyNet API. But if you asked a user back in early 2016 why they rooted their phones, perhaps the number one reason that was given was so they could install the Xposed Framework. It’s been over a year since Android 7.0 Nougat was first released, but the long wait is finally over: official Xposed Framework for Android Nougat is finally available.
Why install the Xposed Framework?
Want to get custom ROM features without flashing a custom ROM? The mother of all Xposed Modules for tweaking your ROM, known as GravityBox, has you covered. Want to customize display settings on a per-app basis? Try App Settings. How about customizing certain applications like Hangouts? Or modifying Instagram so you can download whatever posts you like?
posed gives developers the ability to modify pretty much whatever they want—mostly aimed at individual applications but even system-wide features can be modified. The examples we listed is just the tip of the iceberg. The number of additional features you can add or apps you can modify is incredible—just search through the official Xposed Module repository to see for yourself. Keep in mind that some modules might need to be updated for this new release and for Nougat support, so be sure to check before installing them on your Nougat ROM!
How do Xposed Modules work?
The gist of it is that the Xposed Framework allows modules to “hook” into the Java methods of any application—be it user-installed or a system application. Xposed lets modules execute their own methods before, during, or in place of the original methods of the target application.
For instance, imagine a method used in the Gmail application that posts notifications for new emails. By default, the method creates a new notification with buttons to archive/delete or reply to the email. A Xposed Module could be made to hook into this method and add a new button such as “mark as read.” (Yes, there’s already a Module for just that.)
The above is an over-simplification of the end result of what the Xposed Framework allows its modules to do. The Framework itself is incredibly complex and making it work nearly universally on rooted devices—without needing a custom ROM—is why Xposed for Android Nougat has taken so long to complete. *install at your own risk, I'm not responsible for anything you do to your device.

Besides your instructions are wrong.. and please be careful of which framework you use.. on stock it is sdk24 on other customers roms it depends on the Android version.

I wanted to share this sound mod with you with a minor adjustment. The only adjustment I have made to the zip file is to modify which packages that should be installed. This can be altered to your own needs, but I wanted to share one that works with AOSP on Nougat. This should work on Oreo as well, both 32 and 64-bit.

Sorry I didn't know this mod existed until yesterday so I thought it was worth sharing with an even easier way of installing, so more people could enjoy this amazing mod. But that is not the case then this can be removed.
